your video seems to show the product more closely to reality than other videos thanks
Thank you very much!
Can you make a guide on how to properly calibrate it 🙏🏿
I had to return this monitor because I could not turn off adaptive contrast/brightness. I've spent half a day to find a solution, contacted LG support, even re-installed windows, nothing helped.
I work in IT so I literally troubleshoote every kind of software and hardware issues for years now, trust me I know what I am doing. I am actually wondering why no one mentiones this issue.
Lastly, I would like to highlight that I had two of these monitors, both had the same issue, so it was not a hardware issue.
Hi Mr. Dan - by adaptive contrast/brightness, do you refer to OLED's variation of brightness due to APL (average picture level, how bright the frame is)?
@@TVguyDarko I'm pretty sure that's not the issue. When displaying bright images, like a white wallpaper, the screen maintains its brightness consistently. However, with darker images or when using the dark theme on Windows 11, the display dims itself. This seems to be a dynamic contrast feature, which was also present on my previous monitor, but that one had an option to turn it off in the settings. Really annoying.
I'm planning to buy soon 😃
Nice!
Great video
Thanks!
will someone explain the sickening difference between 34GS95QE and 34GS95QE-B
There should be no difference, it is just a different suffix like LG (and other brands) are doing with TVs for to have slighly different designations for different markets/regions.
Can u change the arm of the monitor ?
I always wanted a monitor like this for my console. I could never afford one, dang it.
Console games does not support 21:9 anyway my friend!
@@housr Well that shows you how much I know lol. Thanks for the info.
@@joebiggs4387console wouldn’t support the 240hz as well
@@DigitalKurisu That makes me feel a little better. Thanks.
Is there an oled care like ai based, to avoid burn in issues?
First time I hear about AI based OLED screen protection, maybe they’ll implement something like that in future. Now there are manual functions like Pixel refresher but also those working automatically when TV is in standby. Therefore, it is important to leave the monitor powered in standby and not to unplug it from power (at least not regularly).
@@TVguyDarko i just read it on the aorus monitor oled the ai based. So you mean your lg has this feature? Automatically refreshing its pixel? Tia
@@vachina14 Yes, LG has that function. Interesting info about Aorus monitors, I'll check it out.
