      You can get better digital footage off most smart phones if you're out and about, but uploading them is a different story. Dare I say somebody needs to invent a cheap smart phone type camera that shoots very clear in all situations including movement and can upload lots of footage fast? I haven't tried GoPro's and similar knock offs, but I can tell you its way easier to film high quality shorts you can use instantly on a smart phone, than most higher dollar endless adjustments, or auto adjustments making cameras. Food for thoughts.

    Hi there. Thanks for the video. Having a hard time figuring out how to record a video AND be able to capture photos at the same time 🤔. Any tips? I want to show people how to pose on camera so show them via video but be able to show them the still photo captured while I was moving.

    • @reelfilmmaking101
      @reelfilmmaking101  2 года назад

      I'm not sure that while you're recording a video you can take photos at the same time. If you had a two camera setup you can have a video rolling with one, and use a remote or app to take pictures with the other while you're showing people how to pose. That would be my best solution for this problem, hope this helps!!

    Are the M50 custom camera settings saved after camera is turned off? How about after removing and re-installing the battery?

    • @reelfilmmaking101

      Yes! The camera settings should be saved even if you turn off the camera or have to change batteries.

    What would I need to do different to record the footage in slow motion

    • @reelfilmmaking101
      @reelfilmmaking101  2 года назад

      You need to record in 60fps or 120fps. I did a video on my channel where I talk about how to record in slo-mo. Hope this helps!!

    my nightmare, m50 MKI, I shoot 4k 25fps using a 50mm or 15-45, but when I try syncing it to a screen recording in my new MacBook Air m1 they are off allot, the QuickTime is recording at 60fps, but thats not all , my iPhone 14 pro can shoot at 4k 24, 25 30 fps...all don't sync up, pain in the neck

    • @richardteare5534
      @richardteare5534 3 года назад +1

      Scratch that. Found the issue. It was to do with changing the video settings from PAL to NTCA something like that lol. Awesome video by the way. The M50 is my first proper camera :)

    • @reelfilmmaking101
      @reelfilmmaking101  3 года назад +1

      Thanks! Yeah, switching from PAL to NTSC will allow you to jump between 24/60fps to 25/50fps.

  • @brijtoofar
    @brijtoofar 2 месяца назад

    This was helpful. But I would still slow it down a bit and not jump from one string to another without giving newbies the time they need to figure out where you are.
    A bit slower on the steps please
