It’s because he’s keeping his voice relaxed and in the chest voice and sometimes dipping down to his lowest notes. Also prolly has vocal coaching or singing.
Thank you. Watching reviews on the M50 make it seem so simple to use but yesterday after mine arrived I was overwhelmed by how many settings there are in the multiple menus. As someone who basically uses my iPhone to take simple pictures/videos of my dogs the M50 is a whole new world! Thank you for guiding me through this world. I look forward to parts 2-4!
Hi Todd, i am a late photograph starter with the Canon M50 Mark ii. I've watched a lot of youtube videos about tutorial, how to set up camera for manual mode, lens comparison for the M50.... When came across your videos, i admitted all of your sections were the BEST tutorials, extremely easy to learn with side by side images, your explanations were also simple and easy to understand which guided me to set up and practicing on my M50 successfully. Can't thank you enough for your time and the efforts you've put to make these videos, i greatly appreciated and thank you again for your hard work, please keep continue doing so to help others to be able to get the most advantages out from the Canon M50.
I've had my M50 for a couple of months now and have been tinkering with the settings. I watched this video with camera in hand and followed your recommendations. Can't wait to field test it. Yours is one of my very favorite channels. You are a fabulous teacher and it's quite obvious that you possess a wealth of knowledge and experience. Thanks for sharing it with us. Looking forward to the follow ups to this one!
Thank you Todd. Just bought the M50 to create leadership webinars to support Ukraine. I hate instruction manuals so it was very useful to watch your tutorial. Your delivery style is confident and easy which makes it nice to watch.
Very helpful for the beginning user of the M 50. I watched several other tutorials but this is the best so far because it doesn't assume you know more than you do.
I just recently a week back i got my M50. Was searching through so many videos. None were so well explained and easy to understand for a beginner like me. Your video was so easy to understand and learn. Thanks for sharing with us.
Thank you so much for this video! As a newbie and recording for RUclips, I had no idea why my videos were different each time (I was fiddling without knowing what I was doing). This video is a life saver.
Thx so very much for your help with the settings. I took my video off Auto and put it into manual, and followed some of the other settings -- shutter speed and adjusted my ISO and now .... no more tears, no more having to redo videos 5 times. You were great!
Thank you! I’ve been shooting professional video for nearly 3 decades and thought the M50 would be a good entry point for me. I was a bit intimidated and this video was SUPER helpful!
Thank you soooo much!!!!! THIS WAS SO HELPFUL!!!! The way you explained all of this made it so easy to understand especially by showing step by step with the camera screen on the right hand side of your video. I was completely confused by other videos thst I had watched trying to learn the perfect settings for my new M50 for recording video for my channel until I came across your tutorial! I cannot THANK YOU enough!!!! 🥰
Thank you for this! As a newbie I was feeling kinda lost. Your pace speed was perfect, not to slow, not too fast. Just right. I learned a bunch and feel a lot more confident. Looking forward to watching your other lessons. Thank you so much
Incredible. Cannot thank you enough for the side images you provided of each menu so we can navigate with you to the right settings. Setting up an office studio by myself. So grateful for your guidance.
Hi Todd, BIG thank you for the clear presentation..I’ve bought the camera and followed your advice..done 2 videos already, getting some great feedback. You’ve helped me bring my channel back to life !!
Great stuff. Many thanks. I would stay away as much as possible from using the shutter release if there are microphones nearby - when you depressed the release (after recommending mapping the video 'on-off' function to it) you could hear noise.
Excellent presentation and suggestions. There are other similar videos in which the speaker talks too fast and doesn't really explain the options. WELL DONE!
Todd Fantastic video... You made this very simple for me a first time filmmaker.. you have gotten me 1000 steps closer to my dream of being the next Spike Lee😁😁😁😁
Ohh i waited for to long for this kind of video which is great for people like me! Who newly jumped from mobile to profesional camera. Hii it’s very informative video, thanks man 👨 and i do love to watch more up coming parts of it, this video is perfect for beginners like me! Just a month ago I bought canon m50 for vlog but still learning the camera setting, picture style setting, and best vlogging lenses, Thank you 🙏🏻
Thank you for this! My M50 arrived today. I fired up this video and followed along, pausing as needed. This tutorial didn't cover sound recording levels, but that wasn't hard to figure out. I'm using a Rode mic with this camera for better sound quality (for guitar lesson vids). I probably could have spent half the day trying to figure out settings, but this video got me up and running quickly.
even after 2 and half years. it's still have better autofocusing and colours than most other manufacturer. ease of use. adaptabilty of ef glass, speedbooster with full frame glass. sigma trio. flip screen. this camera really is so good.
@ 10:00min - Great tip! That almost impossible to find, especially in the dark, recessed record button should really be used for something else! Using the regular shutter release button is a big improvement. Question though, can the record button be mapped to something else or...?
Wow I think are to the best guys help to tutorials very informative thanks so much I so glad I have watched you video . Also I have a question if you could do tutorial at Nikon 3100 please
I just finished watching the whole series man! ure the best! thank you a lot! Just a quick note here. Scenarios on when to use 120fps or Slowmo? worth it? what to do to make it look nice? etc... thank you!
This voice... It's amazing!
Plz tell sir which mic ur using and how? 🙏🙏
It’s because he’s keeping his voice relaxed and in the chest voice and sometimes dipping down to his lowest notes. Also prolly has vocal coaching or singing.
Finally, I got the channel that is perfect for M 50. I really like this channel. Thanks a lot.
Thank you. It’s March 2021 and just got this camera to film for RUclips and these tips were best thus far! Gracias
Thank you.

Great video, thank you very much.
