Hi Corey, thanx for sharing all these years, your channel were one of the first when I began my film making journey, unlocking the potential of the 60D was special to me, your explanations and how tos are a part of my way finding my way with magic lantern, without help its quite tough and a chore. Then post production with DaVinci Resolve amazing resource you put out, which makes it accessible and allows growth as well developpment. For Real ;-) There's still a lot to cover, it takes time and the path to it is worthwhile creatively and artistically. What are the secrets of the trade of film making, which technical aspects do matter to get to a film, how is a good cut done, what is the importance of color grading, how is good story telling done... AI is a thing that will be hard to ignore, I ve incorporated it in my approach to my creative journey, it will always be about human interaction that leads the way. Vintage lenses are my thing, they are cheap and provide a unique and original look, manual focus is tricky, here technology is of great help getting the focus right. There are great channels out there doing great creative work, it inspires, is amazing and makes the world a marvelling place, where each one can add his voice. Thank you for your work and I'm looking forward what you'll share in 25 :))

And also tell you that I've been struggling for years with wanting to strat producing my own videos, and it's been really hard to be honest, but that is perhaps a different topic 😂 My point is, everytime that you post a video, it's fills my heart with hope and joy, and it is really inspiring to see your jurney, your process, your thoughts. Hello, thank you for a pleasant 2024. I use EOS M for photography, but I also attach a magic lantern. Recently I bought a Godox TT350c for artificial lighting practice. Maybe the theme of lighting is also quite interesting. By the way, I have a problem in using this Godox TT350c, which is, it lights up only once in two shots. Still investigating the cause. Greetings from Indonesia.

With eos m just do some short films regardless of how long they are with various techniques, maybe using multiple eos m's, different lenses, etc.. Just to show what one can do with an eos m. I don't know. The technical videos you and some others have done helped so many get started. Personally I enjoy the films more so these days. On the technical side, maybe just explain how to use general camera features with auto and maunal lenses, but with those features being within magic lantern and crop mood.

I use the M with a 22mm quite a bit, especially for street. I like the EF-M 18-55mm too. I also shoot a 40d quite a lot with an EF 28-105mm or 28-135. Sometimes I shoot that with the 75-300mm

Best way to do it all in mlv app then just export videos to edit! Even converting to prores and log footage will left you with lost information from raw sensor data

Hi. Thanks for making this video. I`ve bought a Canon EOS M to install Magic Lantern but have firmware 2.03 installed. I can`t install ML with this version, I think. What can I do? I`ve been sending messages all night and nobody is responding. I can`t be the only person in the world with this problem. I can`t see any information on any forums, including X and ML, Reddit etc. Any ideas?

There is a 24FPS fix file in Danne's download page. Does anyone know what it is used for? Should I install it?

I haven't had any luck with the 5.7 k, I always get jumps in the motion that are in the same place no matter what I convert to with MLV app. Maybe I need to use a faster write speed in ML? Not sure what I'm doing wrong.

Well interesting BUT as you recorded using crop mood, that in the best option is 14 bit lossless once you convert your MLV to DNG YOU DON'T do any better rendering to uncompressed since the footage was made in Lossless, only has more weight but with the lossless codec.

When in menu mode(camera), there is no firmware tab or copyright info tab when install mlv on sd. Plus when I connect to my pc, the Eos screen shows a cpu icon and doesn't do anything. Please advise

i tried this earlier and i got, what looks like, terrible low bitrate looking video. im shooting in 14bit raw. also. i notice that any dual iso footage i shot is squished when i put it into resolve and i have to stretch it out when doing the final render and export. any suggestions? maybe somethngs going wrong in export?
