Thank you for always uploading about m50 because you're the only one person I knew who always talked about this camera thank you very much! I appreciate your works! But I have some requests please make a video about the best lenses for m50 like manual lenses such as 7artisans 12mm 2.8 or Miekie, etc. Thank you.
Joris... it’s me again Andrew Harris your Padwan .. Dig it I appreciate all your videos on The Mighty Canon M50.. They are really helping me with my film projects...
Hello! Thank you so much for all these tips, this was very more than helpful. I just got my camera pretty new for my channel and will definitely use these tips. 😊🙏🏻
This was dope! Even though my Canon EOS M200 just arrived today, I learnt a lot! Thanks man. Also, can you please maybe consider making a video on the above mentioned camera as well, if possible? It would really help a lot!
Awesome tips! I have had huge struggles trying to get the settings right for our needs. Would like settings that can be used for just about anything (depending on light).
I just bought the M50 with the EF-M 22mm lens. Im a DJ and will be filming in clubs. The light wil be dark most of the time. What will be the best settings for filming this ? Thanks 😊
Great video, looking for some advice. I shoot real estate with the Canon M50 and a Laowa 9mm f/2.8 lens. The photo quality has been excellent. However, I haven't been too keen on the video results. Usually, I get requests from agents wanting cinematic drone with video footage. And I always shoot drone footage in 4K on the DJI Mini 2 since it's far better than 1080p on this particular drone. Can you either do a video or respond with how you would shoot a video with the equipment mentioned? Thanks in advance.
Thanks for the settings. If I record a video on the camera, how do I play it back to see how it looks and if you recorded everything I wanted? Yesterday I tried recording a video and there was no way, seemingly, to play it back on the camera itself to see how it looked. How do you do that?
I shoot at 50fps on my Canon usually.. is it better to use 1/125 as the shutter speed or can I go higher to reduce the rolling shutter? I usually use 1/800 when the scene is very bright..
Can you tell me the settings you used for your setup in the video? I need to shoot a ton of content like that. Having trouble getting the settings right!

Informative video Sir 👍but I have a question, When I Shoot Videos With My M50, I Tap On The Subject And If I Move Forward Or Backward My Focus will Out, Why?
Just curious if you really let go of your R5 or if you ended up keeping it? I just got mine and have been pretty happy with it, no overheating issues so far with my style of shooting videos and nice photos.

Joris, question: I have a Canon M50 EOS and I have been messing with it roughly off and on for close to a year. I've dabbled with filming action figures, but I have built a custom diorama as a backdrop/film set. I've invested in a slider with a rail system to shoot smooth footage. What lens do you recommend outside of the one that comes with the Canon M50? My intent is to film the figures for review purposes but do it in a cinematic look. Sounds goofy I know. I'm using Premier Pro and have learned basic color grading but I'm wanting to get the best image quality with my current gear. I am using the Cinestyle color profile with a PrismFx lens simulated anamorphic step-up adapter to replicate flares. Also, I'm mainly shooting this in my garage with a few small light sources plus the small flickering lights that the diorama has. So, it is a semi-controlled environment. I'm trying my best to grasp the basics and not shoot in automatic, despite the automatic pictures coming out amazing looking but when I switch to manual using the same settings as the auto the pictures come out different. I've been told it's an issue of the white balance. So, if you have any suggestions, I would greatly appreciate it.
Well, I guess a macro lens would be a good choice. And first find out at what focal length you shoot most of the time. But yeah, look for macro lenses. You could also buy an adapter so you can use Canon EF lenses on your EF-M camera.
So basically everything manual iso should be 100-400 adjust if needed down or up between 1-400.. i have downloaded the cinema style profile so I can go into PP and add a luts.. and all I need is to worry about exposure I need to get that graph on my m50 when shoot thx ….
