  • Longshot Marksman, 300 yard target camera.
I've been very keen to get one of these units in my hands. I check zero on all my rifles on a regular basis and it becomes very time consuming walking up and back especially when sighting in at distance.
Charging up the camera and installing the Longshot app which is available for IOS and Android on both my tablet + phone and a quick read through the user manual it was time to test it out.
Initial target distance was at 100m with a strong, stsble wifi connection, same at 200m.
The unit still maintained good wifi signal out to 315 yards.
Lots of usefull features on the app are a bonus.
Overall, very impressed with the Marksman and can highly recommend this product.
For those wanting to stretch the disance, Longshot also make a model that will do out to 2 miles. You can add up to 4 cameras to the setup enabling you to view multiple targets at various distances simultaneously.
WARRANTY: The Australian warranty on this product is 'BULLET PROOF' which means that if you accidentally shoot the camera they will fix it or replace it which is outstanding 👍👍👍
Shout out to Australian Sporting Agencies for sending me the device. Great bit if kit. 👌

Very handy piece of kit, and imo it's well worth it for anyone who had to work up loads and fine tune multiple rifles. Spotting scopes are fine for 100 yards with clean viewing conditions, but increase the distance and/or add heat shimmer and they are useless. Nice review and excellent performance.

Fantastic that they will Fix or Replace if it's accidentally shot. Particularly if you have a mate that can hit a fence wire in the Dark :P Sure beats using a spotting scope on a long day shooting targets. I can see an application for shooting over a carcass and staying 300yds away totally out of sight :) I love stuff that caters to my lazy streak!

What a brilliant piece of kit!!
I have my own 100m range and this would be such a great time saver as you said, from taking a 3 shot group, then wander 100m look at the target, then wander all the way back to my firing point, you can make adjustments without getting up from the mound.
    What is the cost?
Edit:- it’s ok, I found the link 👍🏻
