  • If your life isn't being filled with the things of God, your ending may be worse than the beginning.
    The spirit world is a place of great conflict and activity. It's also a place of tremendous influence.
    When Jesus was accused of casting out demons by the power of Satan, He gave His accusers a couple of things to think about. But more than that, we learn that we can't get from darkness to light on our own. We need someone who is stronger than the prince of darkness to bring us into the light.
    warfare is a very real part of the Christian life, but should not be an opportunity for either fear or pride. Instead, the reality of Satan and his evil forces should cause us to draw near to God all the more, realising His power can conquer any foe we may encounter.

    I can attest to this. When under demonic oppression and severe depression the Lord spoke to me that I needed to drench my mind in His Word. I made a tape of Scripture reading all I could find in it of His promises and salvation and deliverance. I put my headphones on as I did my work an listened all day and when I went to bed. In a short time the Word was like a strong shield against all the arrows of the enemy and I was completely free.

      Having a right relationship with God begins with acknowledging your sin. Next comes a humble confession of your sin to God (Isaiah 57:15). “For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved” (Romans 10:10).

      Ephesians 2:8-9 states, "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast." When one is saved, he/she has been born again, spiritually renewed, and is now a child of God by right of new birth. Trusting in Jesus Christ, the One who paid the penalty of sin when He died on the cross, is the means to be "born again." "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation: the old has gone, the new has come!" (2 Corinthians 5:17).

      One of the most sobering facts about life is that all humans have a supernatural enemy whose aim is to use pain and pleasure to make us blind, stupid, and miserable - forever. The Bible calls him “the devil and Satan, the deceiver of the whole world . . . the accuser” (Revelation 12:9-10), “the ruler of this world” (John 12:31), and “the god of this age” (2 Corinthians 4:4).

    • @santhoshvarghese9330
      @santhoshvarghese9330  4 года назад +1

      James says, “Resist the devil, and he will flee from you!” (James 4:7). How do we do that? Here is how they did it according to Revelation 12:11: “They have conquered him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they loved not their lives even unto death.” They embraced the triumph of Christ by his blood. They spoke that truth in faith. They did not fear death. And they triumphed.
      The New Testament highlights prayer as the pervasive accompaniment of every battle. “Take . . . the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication” (Ephesians 6:17-18).
      As the close of this age draws near, and Satan rages, Jesus calls us to wartime prayer: “Watch at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that will take place, and to stand before the Son of Man” (Luke 21:36). Similarly, Peter makes an urgent call to end-time prayer: “The end of all things is at hand; therefore be self-controlled and sober-minded for the sake of your prayers” (1 Peter 4:7).
      Even Jesus fought against the devil on our behalf with the weapon of prayer. He said to Peter in Luke 22:31-32, “Satan has asked to have you that he might sift you like wheat, but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail.” So Jesus illustrates for us the opposition of a specific satanic threat with prayer.

      Jesus (He) said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father, but through Me," (John 14:6). Also, Jesus claimed to be God in flesh. If you compare what God said to Moses in Exodus 3:14 ("And God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM”) with what Jesus said in John 8:58 (Jesus said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was born, I am,"), then you quickly see that Jesus was claiming to be God. In fact, others testified that He was divine as well:
      John 20:28, "Thomas answered and said to Him, 'My Lord and my God!'"
      Col. 2:9, "For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form."
      Heb. 1:8, "But of the Son He says, “Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever..."

    I had asked the Lord to grow my faith, and use me for His Kingdom. So, I had been studying fervently and Praying that the Lord show me and help me understand His Holy word, at the time I didnt know why most of my studying was within all the scripture pertaining to demons, possession of demons, like the legion of demons, the dumb, that Jesus healed, and several other scriptures throughout the bible. My youngest son had become distant, especially when it was time to visit my parents, or go to church, and although I knew something was wrong, I never imagined he had an evil spirit!
    Several days after my brother passed away, the day of his funeral, I saw my son standing at the casket, and I wanted to walk over and console him, and as his head turned and met my eyes, I saw a demon... not my sons face! I stopped in my tracks, and said Lord , I do not fear satan, you have authority, I fear you!
    I walked on over to my son, and didnt think of that again until later the next morning. I stayed at my mom and dads house that night after the funeral, they didnt want to be alone, so my son and husband went on home, the next morning around 5:00 am, the Lord woke me, and allowed me to see my neice( who stayed with me at mom and dads that night), she was on her stomach, and had her head lifted straight in front of her like she was looking at the headboard, and her hands lifted fisted, and she shook them and said" Toby, Toby, he is in there!", then she lowered her head back on the pillow and was in a deep sleep again.
    It scared me, because I knew I had just seen and heard something that I couldnt explain! so, shaking all over I said" Lord, if you are trying to show me something, please help me to understand, but if the devil is trying to make me fearful, I ask in Jesus' name, that this fear flee from me, and that satan leave me alone, I am not afraid of him!! " I went to the bathroom and washed off my face, and dried it with a towel, trying to comprehend what I had just experienced, I then laid back down in bed. After a few minutes, I went downstairs, poured me a cup of coffee, and grabbed the phone, walked outside on the porch, and called my house. My son, Toby answered on the first ring, I asked if I had woke him, he said no, He had a toothache, and was awaken with it about an hour before I called. I asked if he was ok, and I said, I am not talking about your tooth, are you ok? is something wrong? He said no.( unconvincingly).. so I started telling him what I had witnessed my neice do, and as I told him, the Lord revealed to me ( allowed me to remember the casket, and seeing the demon, remembering her words... Toby, hes in there) I said... son you have a demon and the Lord said to pray! he said to pray now... and I dropped the phone, fell on my knees and started praying and calling on the Lord to remove it! I prayed until I felt relief.. then I got up and grabbed the phone and asked if he was still there, and I said I know God just relieved you of that demon... and he said" mom, there wasnt just one... there were two a demon of bitterness, and one I had invited in myself!As I heard you say that The lord wanted me to pray, satan said hang up on her shes crazy, but then the Lord spoke in a sweet quiet voice and said" pray now toby", and as I heard you praying mom, I dropped to my knees and started praying too! As soon as I felt those demons leave me mom, I heard you shouting and praising the Lord over the phone!"I went to praising the Lord, thanking him for all that he had done and I was shouting so loud, I woke my parents, who came running downstairs to see what was going on !
    Praise God!!! I still to this day, do not totally in the flesh understand how all of it happened, but spiritually, I know God was in control! Later that night, my husband was at home alone and thought an intruder was in the house, he walked all through the house and there was nothing, he said it was like something was slamming against the walls, after finding nothing , he said he went back to bed, prayed and asked the Lord to protect our home, and annoint it, and he said, honey I have never done this before, but I prayed for our dog too, that the Lord protect him too!, the next morning, just at daylight, our dog threw up, two black spots, when my husband cleaned them up, he said where the black spots were, it bleached the color right out of our carpet! I asked him why he used bleach, he said, honey I didnt, the black spots that our dog threw up, were small, and he said the most digusting stuff he had ever seen, and when he got a paper towel and removed it, and got cleaner to come back, the area where each black spot had been were white!!! like someone had bleached all of the color out of the carpet! When I heard this message, from Luke, I immediately thought about this experience we had back in 2006!!! God is so good! I thank Him, that Jesus has victory and power over satan, and that He protects us from satans afflictions!! Praise the holy name of Jesus!!! The one and only, son of God, our Redeemer... forevermore!!!

      It is not wrong to be depressed. But it is wrong-and not especially helpful in overcoming a depressed state-to give up on God when we are depressed. “Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God” (Psalm 43:5).
      As believers, we are exhorted to see the greater reality of God’s plan even in the midst of our sadness and depression. Yes, this world is fallen and often painful. It can be depressing. But God is far greater. He is at work, victoriously. Moses and Elijah received God’s provision and experienced His refreshing. Shortly after pouring out his sadness, David praised God. Jesus said, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

    Why would a god create such a being as Satan knowing what it would do. And not only that, this god created Satan so he is immortal. Sounds kind of made up to me.

    • @santhoshvarghese9330
      @santhoshvarghese9330  3 года назад

      God has created everything that ever has been, is, or will be (John 1:3). This includes physical beings and matter as well as spiritual beings (Colossians 1:15-17). The only person who has the power of being in and of Himself-meaning He has no beginning or ending-and is self-existent is God (Exodus 3:14). All other beings were therefore created by God and belong to God (Psalm 24:1).
      There are prophetic, biblical references to the King of Babylon and the King of Tyre. These personages are considered by most scholars as types of Satan (Isaiah 14:12-15; Ezekiel 28:13-17). These two passages give the reader a bit of history concerning Satan and his origins. Verse 12 of Isaiah 14 says Satan’s beginnings were in heaven. The Ezekiel 28 passage says Satan was created (verse 13) as one of the cherubim (verse 14) and was blameless until sin was found in him (verse 15).
      The Bible describes the root of Satan’s sin as pride (Ezekiel 28:17). Before Satan was expelled from heaven, he must have been very beautiful both inside and out (Ezekiel 28:12). Ezekiel 28:15 is careful to say that Satan was created “blameless,” and his sin was of his own doing (Ezekiel 28:16-18). So it would be incorrect to believe that God created Satan with sin already present in him. God is holy and does not create anything that is contrary to His own nature (Psalm 86:8-10; 99:1-3; Isaiah 40:25; 57:15).
      So, while it is correct to say God created Satan, it’s never correct to say that God created the sin within Satan. Satan chose his own course (Isaiah 14:13). God never causes sin (James 1:13), even though He has created a world where sin is possible. Some day God is going to put an end to Satan and all sin (Revelation 20:10) by confining him and his minions to everlasting punishment.
