Excellent message, i have been praying for this very message of the word of God, i pray that i would become a doer not just a hearer of God's word, thank you Pastor Luttzer, i listen to you daily, may God continue to give these massages that we so need to hear.
As usual, a great, much needed message. We all need to be reminded that you just don’t read the Bible and walk away……you MUST be a doer of the word.
I did not have the pleasure of listening to the other speakers, but after listening to Dr. Lutzer's sermon, I have no doubt the organizers saved the best presenter for last. Dr. Lutzer's message is so relevant.

And each sermon God has planned from before the foundation of the world - so trust that He has designed your very sermon to touch souls to nuture their spirit so they might grow closer or just call them to salvation. Recently visited MOODY CHURCH. A BEAUTIFUL CHURCH. HAD A WONDERFUL TIME! DR. LUTZER DOESN'T SERVE AS SENIOR PASTOR. BUT I HAVE LISTENED TO HIS PREACHING 2 YEARS AND LOVE HIM AS HE SPEAKS GOD'S WORD WITH WISDOM, INSIGHT AND UNDERSTANDING COMPELLING ENCOURAGMENT.

Wow Dr. Lutzer looks young in this video. Was this conference actually six years ago? He spoke at the Moody Church (which by the way is my home church) last week about his favorite topic, Martin Luther and the Reformation (it was, after all, Reformation Sunday, October 31st, 2021). Now granted, the man is 80 years old, but it looked like he aged much more than that, especially compared to how he looks here if it was in fact only six years ago. Goes to show how being in a position of authority, such as Senior Pastor of a huge congregation like he was for 36 years, can have a great effect on your age and your health.

And, what does GOD Says in : Jeremiah 27:15 and 14:14 and 23:16 and 23:21. And this is GODS WORDS, James 1:22 But don't just listen to Gods word. You must do what it says, and this commend, you should never Ignore.
Jesus commanded to PREACH (DECLARE) the Gospel. Matthew 28:18-19, Mark 16:15-16, Acts 2:36-41, Acts 8:36-39. Use King James Bible. Modern counterfeits are missing over 50 NT verses.
If you’ve ever attempted to translate from one language to another you’d know that there are not always equivalent words in both languages so it is up to the translator to pick the word that most closely corresponds. Different translators choose different words thus there are different translations. It can be very useful to read other translations to get the gist of the verse. There are many verses in the KJV that are next to impossible to understand unless you understand the idea behind them. Using the KJV as the basis for study is good but there is nothing wrong with reading other translations.
I can clearly tell that you are perhaps not aware of the textual basis of translations. The KJV is based on the Majority text, more specifically, on the Textus Receptus. And the other versions are based on the critical text, eg NIV, NASB and so on. They use manuscripts that do not contain, for instance, the longer ending of Mark, the story of a woman caught in adultery and so on. And some verses are not there at all. Having said that, I am the Majority guy and KJV is my main Bible.
No longer the Moody Church senior pastor, Erwin needs to take the show on the road so the honor aria and royalties will support him--a good Republican entrepreneur under the cloak of a go$pel mini$try. Republican constipation of "let justice roll.." and let the book royalties roll in!
Many of his books are about $10. That’s about the cost of printing and handling.

Thats a good question, may I ask what, if anything, gives you assurance of salvation?
Like the prodigal son , He was living less than he should because of his disobedience and ignorance but he was still born from his father’s seed , we who are truly born again because of our ignorance and disobedience can choose to not grow up in our walk with God as we should but we still belongs to Him if we even live less than we should, salvation is a gift you can only receive it and cannot earn it , but as one keep falling in love with God they will grow by His grace as that person keeps yielding to Him as any child and their earthly parents, if you are genuinely born again you belongs to Him only because you are born of His by His word , you are not His because of some good things you did salvation is free and can only be received.
The person or the Christian who does not obey the Word of God how can he do the will of God is the Bible who reveals Gods will.

We are saved by faith only. We try to do good, we try to keep the law, but keeping the law does not save a person.
Ephesians 2:8 “For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,”
Romans 7:19 “For the good which I desire, I don't do; but the evil which I don't desire, that I practice.”
Romans 5:20b: “But where sin increased, God’s grace increased even more.”
What a funny guy
Did the apostle James write from his own impulses or was he speaking what the Holy Spirit directed? Lutzer speaks of him as if he was not guided by the Spirit.
Erwin never implied nor hinted that the book of James wasn’t inspired by God. Your comments betray your agenda.

Anyone teaching Jesus can come back at any moment and gather His elect to heaven is taking away from the prophecy of The Revelation of Jesus Christ! (Rev. 22:19) John saw the events that will take place before the gathering of believers to Jesus at His coming. (2 Thes. 2:1-4)
How is this preacher deceiving himself and the body of Christ? He is teaching a false gospel, once saved always saved! He is also taking away from the event, timing, and consequences of the coming of the Son of Man. Beware saints, Erwin is a wolf in sheep clothing!

Scripture says when Born Again we are sealed by the Holy Spirit. Show me a verse that says we can be UNSEALED! hint - there isn't one! If TRULY saved...you are saved forever!
