- Revelation 4 gives us a look at the throne room of God. As we read John's description, we see the beauty, grandeur and majesty that awaits us. We will see the centrality of God in the midst of His universe and in the midst of His heaven. And like the elders and the angels, we will all worship God and praise him ceaselessly because everything we have is derived from the Almighty.
Jesus is going to bring us right before the face of God. We'll see Him unmediated.
Jesus is in an actual place called heaven, a place of glory where God dwells with His angels and redeemed children. In another sense, Jesus is also with us here, in this world. Jesus, being God, has all of the attributes of God, including omnipresence. So, Jesus and the Father and the Holy Spirit are everywhere and not just "in heaven." As Solomon said in 2 Chronicles 2:6, "The heavens, even the highest heavens, cannot contain him."

My husband and I listened to pastor Lutzer for many years. When he passed away, I had no doubt when he left his body he was present with the Lord and one day it will happen to me and you too. Praise all mighty God.

I've watched this series from the first up to this last one and for sure it was a blessing to my life and it made me more aware of my responsability as a child of God while over here on earth. Ecclesiastes 9:5-6 " For the living knows that they will die but the dead does not know anything " The dead does not praise the Lord. in the book of Psalm somewhere.
Humans never go to heaven since it is a purely spiritual realm. Humans are purely corporeal beings without an immortal "soul". Look at Gen 2:7 where it states God breathed the breath of life into Adam and he BECAME a "living soul". It doesn't say God added or inserted or attached a spirit or soul to the human body he just created. Also look at Rev 16:3 (KJV) where it says the angel poured out his bowl into the sea and every "living soul" died in the sea. Are there human souls living in the sea? In both cases: Gen 2:7 and Rev 16:3, a "living soul" means just a living creature, ANY living creature. The redeemed will ultimately live on the new earth following the resurrection and judgement in Jesus' Kingdom which will be on the earth, the place God designed for humans to live.
People have different ideas about heaven. Many have no understanding of God at all, but still like to think of heaven as the "better place" where we all go when we die. Ideas about heaven are often no more than vague hopes, on par with "maybe I'll win the lottery some day." Most people don't give heaven much thought until they attend a funeral or a loved one dies.
God is holy and perfect. Heaven, His dwelling place, is holy and perfect, too (Psalm 68:5; Nehemiah 1:5; Revelation 11:19). According to Romans 3:10, "there is none righteous, no not one." No human being is holy and perfect enough for heaven.
The people who go to heaven are all alike in one way: they are sinners who have placed their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (John 1:12; Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9). They have recognized their need for a Savior and humbly accepted God's offer of forgiveness. They have repented of their old ways of living and set their course to follow Christ (Mark 8:34; John 15:14). They have not attempted to earn God's forgiveness but have served him gladly from grateful hearts (Psalm 100:2). The kind of faith that saves a soul is one that transforms a life (James 2:26; 1 John 3:9-10) and rests fully on the grace of God.
When people deny the existence of heaven, they deny not only the written Word of God, but they also deny the innermost longings of their own hearts. Paul addressed this issue in his letter to the Corinthians, encouraging them to cling to the hope of heaven so that they would not lose heart. Although we “groan and sigh” in our earthly state, we have the hope of heaven always before us and are eager to get there (2 Corinthians 5:1-4). Paul urged the Corinthians to look forward to their eternal home in heaven, a perspective that would enable them to endure hardships and disappointments in this life. “For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:17-18).
Just as God has put in men’s hearts the knowledge that He exists (Romans 1:19-20), so are we “programmed” to desire heaven. It is the theme of countless books, songs, and works of art. Unfortunately, our sin has barred the way to heaven. Since heaven is the abode of a holy and perfect God, sin has no place there, nor can it be tolerated. Fortunately, God has provided for us the key to open the doors of heaven-Jesus Christ (John 14:6). All who believe in Him and seek forgiveness for sin will find the doors of heaven swung wide open for them.

Heaven is a realm of purely spiritual beings: God, the Father, the angels, and Jesus in his glorified body. God made the earth for humans because they are purely corporeal beings. In the verse you mention Paul is referring to our resurrection body which happens after Jesus returns to earth for the second time. 1) Jesus is both God and man. Jesus has always been God, but He did not become a human being until He was conceived in Mary. Jesus became a human being in order to identify with us in our struggles (Hebrews 2:17) and, more importantly, so that He could die on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins (Philippians 2:5-11). In summary, the hypostatic union teaches that Jesus is both fully human and fully divine, that there is no mixture or dilution of either nature, and that He is one united Person, forever.
2) Moses is one of the most prominent figures in the Old Testament.
God specifically chose Moses to lead the Israelites from captivity in Egypt to salvation in the Promised Land. Moses is also recognized as the mediator of the Old Covenant and is commonly referred to as the giver of the Law. Finally, Moses is the principal author of the Pentateuch, the foundational books of the entire Bible.
In one of Moses’ final speeches, he gave this messianic prophecy: “The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among you, from your fellow Israelites. You must listen to him” (Deuteronomy 18:15). The prophet whom Moses foretells bears these qualities: He will be raised up by God, He will come from among the Israelites, He will be like Moses, and He will be worthy of being heard and obeyed. The prophet who fulfills these words is Jesus Christ, the prophet like Moses.
Much of Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy are filled with God’s messages to and through Moses. They begin in Exodus 3 when God called Moses from the burning bush to return to Egypt to speak judgment against the Pharaoh and rescue the Israelites. Moses’ prophecies include both rebuke against the Israelites and predictions of the future. God spoke more to Moses than anyone else in the Bible.
3) Muhammad (c. AD 570-632) was from Mecca, a city near the Red Sea in what is now Saudi Arabia. An orphan from childhood, Muhammad was raised by an uncle, a man named Abu Talib, and became a merchant. In light of the prophetic criteria given by God in Deuteronomy 18 we discover that Muhammad fails this test. This means that Muhammad is neither a true prophet nor is he the prophet like Moses.
Muhammad cannot be a true prophet nor God's seal of prophethood.

No, he doesn't say "BELIEVE ME", he is using the Bible as his authority and is thus saying "BELIEVE GOD." Thus you are rejecting God, not Erwin Lutzer. And do you think God is mocked? Think again.
