Tatsu is incredible. Sure it's not as agressive as something like X2 but it's smooth, fun and you simply can't beat the amazing feeling of flying through the air so high above the park. It's an amazing experience
X2 is my fave, but as weird as this may sound, as I get a bit older, Ninja in the back seat slowly gets closer to taking the #1 spot. I love the left/right sways into the little floater drops. Idk why.. just makes me giggle 😂
if I could only ever ride one coaster for the rest of my life, it would be Ninja. I spent 2 months within bicycling distance form magic mountain and visiting 2 or more evenings a week back when X2 was X and brand new and it was only running once while I was there. wasn't worth the wait for a second ride. my favorite rides were (in no other particular order) Ninja, viper, colossus (original), goliath, Superman, and riddler.
Ninja will always hold a special place in my heart. I love how it travels through the trees and water and it very smooth. I think it might have been the first "real" roller coaster I went on outside of disneyland rides
It never makes any sense because they have nothing to do with each other. "This drop is like a graham cracker covered in chocolate and then dipped in caramel". Like wtf does that tell me about a drop? lol

I just visited SFMM for the first time and I rode all the coasters except for the kiddie coasters & Superman, Goliath, Riddler's Revenge, & Scream. Those last four were closed but I rode everything else. Here are my thoughts: Gold Rusher- my favorite Arrow Mine Train. Revolution- my favorite Schwarzkopf coaster. Viper- very underrated arrow looper and no headbanging. Ninja- way more intense and fun than Bat at Kings Island and Iron Dragon at Cedar Point. Wonder Woman Flight of Courage- my first RMC Raptor, very fun roller coaster, by far one of the best RMCs out there. Batman the Ride- super fun but the one at Over Georgia is better. Full Throttle- I think it gets way to much hate, extremely underrated coaster. Love the loop, backward launch, and drop. Apocalypse- one of the best GCIs I have ridden, I like it better than Thunderhead but not better than Mystic Timbers. West Coast Racers- My favorite Premier coaster with comfort collars, the high five was INTENSE. X2- the craziest coaster I ever rode! My number #2, but not better than Iron Gwazi. Best coaster by Arrow Dynamics! Tatsu- best B&M flying coaster ever. I found the pretzel loop way more intense than the first turn on I305. Twisted Colossus- one of the best RMCs ever! So much airtime! The top gun stall is amazing! I am so glad I rode the new version of the screamy meemy! Overall, SFMM is the best park in the west coast.
Staringcorgi6 west coast racers I’m pretty sure will be fully open (I know it was open for like two days, so actually it wasn’t getting anything for 2019
I do agree that X2 is one of the most intense experiences I've had on a coaster, and the inner seat is the better ride.. there's a portion towards the end that rocks back and forth causing some major head bumping. Twisted Colossus is clearly the winner, even without dueling.
“And I gotta say” that this was a great video! Always love watching the content, I’m a growing coaster enthusiast and rode my first Hyper last week! These videos really help!
Kevcoaster15 I heard it was really good, but in my opinion it was a little jerky at some parts. I want to get on a B&M because they’re really smooth, maybe I’ll like it better
They added new headrests to X2 and it's way less painful! Like you said, it's a must ride for intense rollercoaster lovers. On top of that, the flamethrower effects have actually been working now, so I think the ride is better than ever this year :D
Glad you got the chance to check out Magic Mountain! I think my top five favorites would be: 5. Goliath 4. Full Throttle 3. X2 2. Tatsu 1. Twisted Colossus
Goliath was my first ever roller coaster 🎢 ride experience in summer of 2001. I rode this in the first seat and the 235 ft drop was something else; other worldly! After Goliath every ride except for the riddler was like cupcakes for me!
@@sarinap.1636 I went on a Monday in October and there was no wait. Maybe it is different in July? I would recommend waiting until you get there to buy the fast passes^^
yeah Apocalypse is great -- it's so much fun when it blows through the station at full speed :D eastern coaster enthusiasts really don't understand how good sfmm is. each of their rides are the best in their type. and x2 is.....it's....holy. it's the only roller coaster that has actually scared me
I like how you ranked these coasters. They all fit in and around where you placed them. And thank you for rating viper correctly. Also I love the back ground beat. And I love what you said about full throttle and how it’s like a white chocolate raspberry cupcake. Love how you relate coasters to food and coffee 😂😂😂
So glad you finally got to go! I took my dad there for the first time a couple weeks ago. Kept asking him if he was ready for X2. He said yeah every time, but after it was over I asked if he was really ready and he responded, "I thought I was but... nope."
Yees, Magic Mountain's my home park so I was stoked to see this video uploaded. I sometimes take some of the rides on your list for granted, but watching it really gave me a newfound appreciation for the park. Really wished I made the meet up but I'll look forward to your return! This video gets a thumbs up forsure 👍
Always great to see Twisted Colossus in the top spot. The original Colossus was god-awful and would beat you to a pulp, so when it was remolded I actually refused to go on it for most of the day. After much convincing, I finally rode it and I walked off that coaster with a new favorite. Personally I would put Tatsu slightly above X2 just for how buttery smooth Tatsu is. X2 is amazing and SO INTENSE, and it was my first coaster I rode when I went to the park for the first time, but it can be a rough ride especially on the outside seats. Also interesting to hear about your experience on Riddler. This was actually one of my most hated coasters as it constantly banged my head. Worse is if you wear sunglasses, it smushes your ears against them and it makes it even more painful. Every time I go to SFMM I refuse to go on Riddler and will opt to just wait for people to ride it while I take a short rest haha. I'm glad you finally got to experience SFMM! Hope it was worth the wait :)
It was awesome finally getting the chance to meet you at Coaster Con! It was also amazing to be part of the incredible on-ride photo shown at 12:20. Hope to see you again someday.
i've been to magic mountain in 2011 and seeing all the new additions to the park and the coasters i wasn't able to ride (batman, x2, superman, riddler's revenge, scream) i really want to go back! i'll always remember my ride on tatsu cause it was the last of the day and i almost passed out during the pretzel loop! it's a really great park for coaster enthusiasts.
That pretzel loop is no joke, it's very forceful, but what I found out to make it more enjoyable, you gotta fully relax your entire body before going into it to make it less forceful
@@SkateClipsAndTips i'll try this if i ever ride it again! i was 13 when i rode it and i had never even seen a flying coaster in my life so i was kinda terrified and tense but i think it was one of my favorite rides at the park, i'm curious to see if that changed
This has become my favorite RUclips channel lately! Your videos are fun, knowledgable, and consistent. Please keep up the amazing work! Magic mountain is near and dear to my heart and I haven't been back in several years so watching this one especially made me so happy! Totally agreed with your rankings!
I just went to Magic Mountain today, so here's how I rank the coasters I WENT on. Note: I didn't get on any of the B&M coasters except for Riddler's Revenge. I also didn't get on the kitty coasters. 11: Viper Reasons: Viper was SO painful. I was banging my head a ton on that ride, and it didn't help that it was a bit rough too. If I were to visit the park again, I'd not go on Viper. 10: Gold Rusher Reasons: Gold Rusher was also a bit painful, but in a janky, funny way. It wasn't unbearable like Viper, but it was fun never the less. It'd rank higher had it not been a family coaster. 9: Ninja Reasons: Just like Gold Rusher, Ninja would rank higher had it not been a family coaster, but it was still fun swaying side to side while riding. I enjoyed Ninja quite a bit, and I think its a good family coaster, but I'd appreciate it more without the Over-the-shoulder restraints. 8: Goliath Reasons: While I did like Goliath, I just thought it was big and fast, and that's it. Enjoyable ride? Yes! Intense? Yes! Airtime? Not really, but it was still fun. 7: Riddler's Revenge Reason: I thought Riddler's Revenge coulda been better without the stupid stand-up trains, but it was still fun. While my siblings absolutely despised the ride, I thought it was fun. Those inversions were massive. Like I said, this ride could benefit from not being a stand-up coaster. 6: Apocalypse Reasons: I thought Apocalypse was super rough, and it made my headache from stupid Viper worse, but I thought it was a nice Wooden coaster. I think Ghostrider by far is better because of its smoothness, and ride time, but I still thought Apocalypse was a good Woodie. 5: The New Revolution Reasons: I thought Revolution was a pretty alright ride. That loop was pretty good, but other than that, the ride wasn't too intense for me. I'd recommend getting on it with your kids if they've never experienced an inversion before. 4: X2 Reasons: Okay, hear me out. X2 was way too intense for me. I thought it was a great ride, but my goodness it was intense. I seriously never screamed so much on a coaster before. I did not enjoy X2, but for what it was, I thought it was great. I'd recommend only getting on it one time just to experience it. 3: Full Throttle Reasons: Even though Full Throttle was short, it was a super intense ride. I swear I got lifted from my seat on that ride during the loop, the getting launched backwards, and the top hat. Even though it was short, I still liked it a lot. 2: West Coast Racers Reasons: I enjoyed West Coast Racers because you get to race people on it, and because each side offers a different experience. The White side had a lot of airtime, while the yellow side had a lot of inversions. I also liked that you got to experience both sides. 1: Twisted Colossus Reasons: Two words: Ejector Airtime. Twisted Colossus has tons of it. The first drop has to be my favorite element on the entire ride for sure. The only problem is that it usually never duels, but I still loved the heck outta this ride. Bit of a hot-take, but in terms of the first drop, Twisted Colossus is more intense than X2. However, that's only the first drop though. So yeah, Twisted Colossus is the goat for sure, and probably the best coaster in California. Side note: I probably would've like some rides more had it not been for the terrible, no good, very bad Viper. If I do come back, I'd want to get on the other B&M coasters in the park, and Super Man EFK, but never touch Viper. It's also worth mentioning that I got a back row ride, or sat close to the back on all the rides except for X2, but I didn't sit on the front on X2. I'm bringing this up because back row is more intense than the front. I made my second visit to SFMM today and got on 3 new coasters, and re-rode everything (Except Riddler and Viper), so it's time for a re-rank. I still haven't got on Batman The Ride, but I will on my next visit 14: Viper. Old Rank: 11 Viper is still the worst (imo) for the same reasons. On my next visit, I may give it a re-ride. As of right now tho, I still dislike it 13: Gold Rusher. Old Rank: 10 Same spot for the same reasons, tho I will admit, despite being a family coaster, Gold Rusher is pretty good. It has some intense moments, and has one ok moment of airtime 12: New Revolution. Old Rank: 5 Revolution used to be a top 5 coaster at SFMM for me, but not anymore. Tbh, it's mainly a family coaster, with the exception of that loop. Despite this, the first drop has a bit of a tummy tingling sense to it. It's alright for what it is, but nowhere near any other adult coaster at the park. 11: Ninja. Old Rank: 9 Ninja used to be a top 10 coaster, and while it's by far the best family coaster in the park, it's still just a family coaster. The swinging cars are scary, yet so fun. Ninja is very underrated, and I still respect it, but the other 10 coasters are better imo. 10: Scream (New Credit) Scream is very mid. I don't hate it, but I don't live it. Some of the inversions are forceful (Like the loop, dive loop, and the 0 G Roll, while others do nothing for me (Like the Cobra Roll, and the corkscrews). If Scream ran smoother, it would have been higher on the list. Sadly, Scream has a rattle to it, and it's not that original either. 9: Riddler's Revenge. Old Rank: 7 Riddler's Revenge is more forceful than Scream, so I gave it the edge. That being said, Riddler has one of the same problems as Scream, as well as an additional bad problem. Riddler has a rattle to it, and it's a stand-up coaster. Stand-up coasters are not my thing. Despite this, I still somewhat enjoy Riddler, but it's not my favorite at all. 8: Superman EFK (New Credit) Superman EFK, while short, does pack a bit of a punch. The launch was more powerful than expected, and the spike gave some nice weightlessness. Only reason why Superman doesn't rank higher is because 1: It's short, and 2: the restraints are not my favorite. Even then, Superman is decent, and it's very over-looked. 7: Goliath. Old Rank: 8 Goliath really surprised me this time around. The first drop gave a little bit of airtime, and the airtime hill also gave a sustained, and powerful burst of airtime. And, as always, it's fast and intense. I wish it had more airtime, but I can still forgive it for at least making up in intensity. 6: Apocalypse. Old Rank: The same as it's current rank Apocalypse was a pretty forgettable coaster when I first went, but it really redeemed itself this time around. It's not the smoothest coaster, but I give Apoc a pass for having a few solid moments of airtime, and also being very intense. I always thought Apoc was forceless, but after my re-rides, it's anything but that. 5: Full Throttle. Old Rank: 3 Full Throttle has great Hangtime and Airtime, and also three decent launches, what more can a man ask for? Well, maybe a longer ride time, but it's aight because FT packs a freaking punch in it's short layout. 4: West Coast Racers. Old Rank: 2 West Coast Racers has some good moments of Hangtime, Airtime, and positives. It's essentially the full package in one ride. It also has the racing factor to it, so that's another plus for it. If it was a little more forceful, it would be higher, but hey, top 4 at SFMM is no easy feat. 3: Tatsu (New Credit) Uh I want to put Tatsu higher, but I just Can't. Tatsu is super great, def the best B&M in all of California! (Fight me!) The first drop gives a weird feeling of airtime, and the corkscrew and the 0 G Roll are very disorienting. And the Pretzel Loop, holy crap the Pretzel Loop is insanity. It's a very intense and disorienting coaster, and it is by far the 3rd best coaster at SFMM. 2: Twisted Colossus. Old Rank: 1 I hate putting TC at number 2, but sadly, that's where it belongs. It has amazing airtime, and amazing inversions. It really has no flaws imo, but I personally think one other coaster is better. Despite this, TC is a top tier RMC, top tier SFMM coaster, and a top tier coaster in CA. 1: X2, Old Rank: 4 To be completely honest, I was dreading a re-ride on X2. I remember the first time I got off it, I thought "Never again". But After sucking it up and riding X2, I didn't regret it at all. My re-ride on X2 was so much fun, it was intense, but fun. Now, I don't think I've ridden X2 to it's full potential. I rode in row 4, which isn't exactly the front, but not exactly the back, Even then, X2 was an absolute riot from start to finish. X2 is a 10/10 without a doubt. My predictions for Batman and WW Batman: 8 WW: 4
funny story that exact batman was the first real “big kid” coaster i ever rode😂 my cousin thought it would be a good warm up and don’t get me wrong i had a great time but i was pretty much in shock at how powerful the coaster was
My mother often visited as a teen/young adult during the 70's and 80's, and she fondly remembers the dueling feature on the original Colossus, and also how they would run the trains backward during October. I remember loving Colossus in spite of its roughness simply because of my mom's stories about it. I have yet to ride Twisted Colossus, unfortunately.
Dickless Mic, I loved the old Colossus but it was getting old and rough and on a few occasions I swear I swallowed a few wood chips!! LOL The park had no choice but to make the upgrade as no one was really riding it. Twisted Colossus is unlike anything I've ever rode on....so smooth and fast and the sick airtime you get will blow you away. If you get lucky and duel its so much fun that will leave you speechless. I have actually have video of me on it and yes I got to duel...check it out it's on RUclips. I highly recommended Dickless...you will totally love it I wouldn't rank it #1, but #2...I still think X2 is my number 1 just because of how insane it is.
Theme park crazy talking about west coast racers:that’s gonna be exciting when it opens up Me:can’t wait for your grandkids to rank this when they visit
Favorite spot on X2 was the left front outside seat (I mean... at the time... if you get the left front seat in the station then you're... on the right... at that point... but when... oh dear I've gone crosseyed...) . When you come around that turn over the parking lot, you're waaaay out away from anything and it feels like flying. If you can do the math to figure out how to get that seat, it's awesome.
100% agree with you on the Raven then on X-2. I went a month ago and that turn slammed my head back and my mouth started bleeding. Had to quickly clean my face because I didn’t want people to see. KEEP YOUR HEAD BACK
Viper, ninja and superman are underrated imho Scream has a bad rider experience and may be a better ride but more uproar would be stirred up if those three were removed before scream
Twisted Colossus’ first drop is insane, also people really be hating on Full Throttle but it was surprisingly really good. You get thrown out of your seat over that loop.
I live 10 minutes away from the park and i have an annual pass so i could go every day If your asking where i live i live at the apartments near Starbucks🍵 and Panda Express 🐼
Bro. You’ll literally spend a whole day riding coasters. It’s literally the coaster capital of the world. I love it honestly even if I haven’t visited it.
1:38 Yeah one time I went on goldrusher twice in a row during the day and BOTH TIMES I went under superman it launched. It was so loud. :( also NEVER RIDE VIPER IN THE FRONT only second to back row
The forward launch of Superman was very intense for me. It was the first time I’d ever ridden smoothing at 100mph. I basically used Super Man as a warm up for Dragster.
Batman usually runs pretty fast. It's nice since it is in the back of the park you can just sit there and reride it as much as you want as there usually isn't much line assuming it's not packed that day.
Its been 10 years since I have been to this park and X2 is still such an amazing memory... I was expecting to just watch a video of the coaster rides, and instead I get an amazingly in depth Magic Mountain ride review. Much love
The first time I went to magic mountain, I had only been on one other coaster before in my life (California screamin at Disneys California adventure).. My friends said we should go on X2 first. I thought it would be a relatively normal roller coaster experience, I had no idea.... I came off of that thing trembling. so scared that I didn't want to go on any other coasters, luckily my friends hyped me up and I soon realized that no other ride in that park comes even close to X2's intensity/fear factor. I ended up upgrading my ticket to a summer season pass, and actually ended up riding X2 3 more times that summer. by my 3rd and 4th times riding it I had really started enjoying it, fear turned into excitement, I felt like I had conquered the ride in a weird way.
FINALYYY!!!! I LOVE THIS PARK!!!! ITS MY HOME PARK AND I BARLEY STARTED LIKEING RIDES CAUSE I USED TO BE SUPER SCARED OF THEM BUT NOW I GO ON ALLLLLL THE RIDESS!!!😊😊😊😊😊
I absolutely love Magic Mountain, it’s also my favorite Six Flags and this list was really good, though I physically GASPED when you put The Riddler higher then Goliath! Also one of the things that puts Goliath over Titan for me (and it’s just a small thing) but the lift hill on Goliath is a LOT slower then Titans which really amps me up for the incredible drop you’re about to have 👌
Goliath was my first ever roller coaster 🎢 ride experience in summer of 2001. I rode this in the first seat and the 235 ft drop was something else; other worldly! After Goliath every ride except for the riddler was like cupcakes for me!
Because you went to SFMM during the summer, that Southern California heat made the rides run much faster, and so with Batman, it made it much more intense.
The revolution coaster was my very first roller coaster with an inversion. It's what got me started on coasters. I'm glad you love it even though it's now the new revolution.
I liked Ninja, but when i got on it for the first time i scraped my leg on the side of the trains where you step into the cart, which made it way worse. If you plan on going on it once everything opens up again, wear pants or be careful when going in if you have shorts on
MM is, by far, my favorite Six Flags park and the coaster selection is just insane. Thanks for this great video, your coaster list episodes are my favorite.
@@seanlewis1148 I've been to Great Adventure many times (used to live in Philly) but I prefer Magic Mountain's beautiful landscaping and coaster selection over Great Adventure's miles of concrete and gang wars.
I couldn’t agree more with your list. I love most of the coasters in the list (except the kiddy coasters you didn’t talk about) . My personal favorite is scream, even tho there’s no scenery.
I forgot to include this in my original comment, when are going to Busch Gardens Williamsburg? I would love to meet you there, considering it’s my home park.
Gold Rusher is actually my nephew's favorite roller coaster at Magic Mountain when I went to visit them, back in October 2018. At first, my nephew and I went on Twisted Colossus first and I was surprised by his bravery for his age, (he was seven at the time), he liked the second half of the ride. As for Ninja, I had to convince him to ride it, but after the ride, all I could see was a smile on his face.
It's funny because I've ridden superman on slow days and we didn't have to get off because no one got in line. The forcefulness & height changed every single time lol.
Twisted Colossus. Tatsu. X2.

Be sure to get there in the morning so you can practically skip the line on superman. Which is totally worth it
@@sarinap.1636 I went on a Monday in October and there was no wait. Maybe it is different in July? I would recommend waiting until you get there to buy the fast passes^^
yeah Apocalypse is great -- it's so much fun when it blows through the station at full speed :D
eastern coaster enthusiasts really don't understand how good sfmm is. each of their rides are the best in their type. and x2 is.....it's....holy. it's the only roller coaster that has actually scared me
Dude Six Flags Magic Mountain is my home six flags park and I love it every time I go there
I like how you ranked these coasters. They all fit in and around where you placed them. And thank you for rating viper correctly. Also I love the back ground beat. And I love what you said about full throttle and how it’s like a white chocolate raspberry cupcake. Love how you relate coasters to food and coffee 😂😂😂
how fast do you want your ride?
theme park crazy: yes
This is how many times he said "I gotta say"
Tatsu in the front row is one of the best coaster experiences in the world.
Back is better my dude
So glad you finally got to go!
I took my dad there for the first time a couple weeks ago. Kept asking him if he was ready for X2. He said yeah every time, but after it was over I asked if he was really ready and he responded, "I thought I was but... nope."
1:38 when superman runs, it does not make any sound until it reaches the incline.
you could slightly hear it when it launches down below but the moment it comes out of the trees rip anyone’s ears underneath the track
You are lucky to meet him
I kinda knew Tatsu would bump off Manta for the number one spot for flying coasters *wink wink*
Manta s better because bias
I perfer manta
I mean Manta is good but Tatsu and the pretzel loop is probably my favorite flying.
I live in California, I used to live in Michigan near Florida, I’m sorry Manta is better
Lavender Gaming/Gacha what’s manta ?
I gotta say, the absolute funnest ride I've EVER been on was Twisted Colossus. I honestly give it a 10 out of 10.
I was actually surprised at how I liked the Superman launch. Definitely some floater! I grayed out on Viper hahaha definitely surprised at its force
i've been to magic mountain in 2011 and seeing all the new additions to the park and the coasters i wasn't able to ride (batman, x2, superman, riddler's revenge, scream) i really want to go back! i'll always remember my ride on tatsu cause it was the last of the day and i almost passed out during the pretzel loop! it's a really great park for coaster enthusiasts.
That pretzel loop is no joke, it's very forceful, but what I found out to make it more enjoyable, you gotta fully relax your entire body before going into it to make it less forceful
@@SkateClipsAndTips i'll try this if i ever ride it again! i was 13 when i rode it and i had never even seen a flying coaster in my life so i was kinda terrified and tense but i think it was one of my favorite rides at the park, i'm curious to see if that changed
sitarad Nope, nothing changed. Tatsu is still the same, if anything, it's even MORE intense than its ever been!!!
11: Viper
Reasons: Viper was SO painful. I was banging my head a ton on that ride, and it didn't help that it was a bit rough too. If I were to visit the park again, I'd not go on Viper.
10: Gold Rusher
Reasons: Gold Rusher was also a bit painful, but in a janky, funny way. It wasn't unbearable like Viper, but it was fun never the less. It'd rank higher had it not been a family coaster.
9: Ninja
Reasons: Just like Gold Rusher, Ninja would rank higher had it not been a family coaster, but it was still fun swaying side to side while riding. I enjoyed Ninja quite a bit, and I think its a good family coaster, but I'd appreciate it more without the Over-the-shoulder restraints.
8: Goliath
Reasons: While I did like Goliath, I just thought it was big and fast, and that's it. Enjoyable ride? Yes! Intense? Yes! Airtime? Not really, but it was still fun.
7: Riddler's Revenge
Reason: I thought Riddler's Revenge coulda been better without the stupid stand-up trains, but it was still fun. While my siblings absolutely despised the ride, I thought it was fun. Those inversions were massive. Like I said, this ride could benefit from not being a stand-up coaster.
6: Apocalypse
Reasons: I thought Apocalypse was super rough, and it made my headache from stupid Viper worse, but I thought it was a nice Wooden coaster. I think Ghostrider by far is better because of its smoothness, and ride time, but I still thought Apocalypse was a good Woodie.
5: The New Revolution
Reasons: I thought Revolution was a pretty alright ride. That loop was pretty good, but other than that, the ride wasn't too intense for me. I'd recommend getting on it with your kids if they've never experienced an inversion before.
4: X2
Reasons: Okay, hear me out. X2 was way too intense for me. I thought it was a great ride, but my goodness it was intense. I seriously never screamed so much on a coaster before. I did not enjoy X2, but for what it was, I thought it was great. I'd recommend only getting on it one time just to experience it.
3: Full Throttle
Reasons: Even though Full Throttle was short, it was a super intense ride. I swear I got lifted from my seat on that ride during the loop, the getting launched backwards, and the top hat. Even though it was short, I still liked it a lot.
2: West Coast Racers
Reasons: I enjoyed West Coast Racers because you get to race people on it, and because each side offers a different experience. The White side had a lot of airtime, while the yellow side had a lot of inversions. I also liked that you got to experience both sides.
1: Twisted Colossus
Reasons: Two words: Ejector Airtime.
I still haven't got on Batman The Ride, but I will on my next visit
14: Viper. Old Rank: 11
Viper is still the worst (imo) for the same reasons. On my next visit, I may give it a re-ride. As of right now tho, I still dislike it
13: Gold Rusher. Old Rank: 10
Same spot for the same reasons, tho I will admit, despite being a family coaster, Gold Rusher is pretty good. It has some intense moments, and has one ok moment of airtime
12: New Revolution. Old Rank: 5
Revolution used to be a top 5 coaster at SFMM for me, but not anymore. Tbh, it's mainly a family coaster, with the exception of that loop. Despite this, the first drop has a bit of a tummy tingling sense to it. It's alright for what it is, but nowhere near any other adult coaster at the park.
11: Ninja. Old Rank: 9
Ninja used to be a top 10 coaster, and while it's by far the best family coaster in the park, it's still just a family coaster. The swinging cars are scary, yet so fun. Ninja is very underrated, and I still respect it, but the other 10 coasters are better imo.
10: Scream (New Credit)
Scream is very mid.
Old Rank: 7
Riddler's Revenge is more forceful than Scream, so I gave it the edge.
8: Superman EFK (New Credit)
Superman EFK, while short, does pack a bit of a punch. The launch was more powerful than expected, and the spike gave some nice weightlessness. Only reason why Superman doesn't rank higher is because 1: It's short, and 2: the restraints are not my favorite. Even then, Superman is decent, and it's very over-looked.
7: Goliath. Old Rank: 8
Goliath really surprised me this time around. The first drop gave a little bit of airtime, and the airtime hill also gave a sustained, and powerful burst of airtime. And, as always, it's fast and intense. I wish it had more airtime, but I can still forgive it for at least making up in intensity.
6: Apocalypse. Old Rank: The same as it's current rank
Apocalypse was a pretty forgettable coaster when I first went, but it really redeemed itself this time around. It's not the smoothest coaster, but I give Apoc a pass for having a few solid moments of airtime, and also being very intense. I always thought Apoc was forceless, but after my re-rides, it's anything but that.
5: Full Throttle. Old Rank: 3
Full Throttle has great Hangtime and Airtime, and also three decent launches, what more can a man ask for? Well, maybe a longer ride time, but it's aight because FT packs a freaking punch in it's short layout.
4: West Coast Racers. Old Rank: 2
West Coast Racers has some good moments of Hangtime, Airtime, and positives. It's essentially the full package in one ride. It also has the racing factor to it, so that's another plus for it. If it was a little more forceful, it would be higher, but hey, top 4 at SFMM is no easy feat.
3: Tatsu (New Credit)
Uh I want to put Tatsu higher, but I just Can't.
Old Rank: 1
I hate putting TC at number 2, but sadly, that's where it belongs. It has amazing airtime, and amazing inversions. It really has no flaws imo, but I personally think one other coaster is better. Despite this, TC is a top tier RMC, top tier SFMM coaster, and a top tier coaster in CA.
1: X2, Old Rank: 4
To be completely honest, I was dreading a re-ride on X2.
My predictions for Batman and WW
Batman: 8
WW: 4
0:58 You forgot to mention not doing Green Lantern because it's closed and a piece of crap not worth riding on even if it was open. :P
Yeah, I hear they're going to remove it soon, most likely next year.
Actually, theres a video stating rumors that the ride is actually gonna be retracked
Maybe he didn't mention it on purpose.
"The ride that must not be named."
Joshua Ortiz Six Flags Magic Mountain said that they’re going to re-open it. Sadly.
@@MrMafiaDog I think they are gonna retrack the ride or give it better restraints
I’ve never ridden X2 but I’ve ridden Eejanaika and Dinoconda. Those large scale 4d are amazing

Kevin Lamont I think Eejanaika looks like the goat
Eejanaika looks so crazy, I hope I can get to Fuji q one day. I’ve been on x2 it’s really awesome.
Mattie Marano I’ve ridden the original X and it’s my number 3. Ejeanika looks significantly better than X.

funny story that exact batman was the first real “big kid” coaster i ever rode😂 my cousin thought it would be a good warm up and don’t get me wrong i had a great time but i was pretty much in shock at how powerful the coaster was
That Batman coaster is intense, in a good way. I remember the first time I rode it, I think I screamed the whole time.
Theme park crazy talking about west coast racers:that’s gonna be exciting when it opens up
Me:can’t wait for your grandkids to rank this when they visit
theme park crazy: i didn’t feel much on that one
me after any coaster: 🤢🤮🤮🤮
And that's why you never eat before you ridec
I got to duel on Twisted Colossus during the first run, It's pretty awesome!
KEEP YOUR HEAD BACK
Viper, ninja and superman are underrated imho
Scream has a bad rider experience and may be a better ride but more uproar would be stirred up if those three were removed before scream
GP’s be like : I hope they put us on the green side😁🤞
Natasha McHattan 😂😂
Natasha McHattan okay?
Natasha McHattan what? I don’t understand.
USCraft Gaming he took 600 hours to find out that you ride both tracks in the same ride
Natasha McHattan no, I don’t know why GP would hate dueling. My comment has nothing to do with dueling. If you “aren’t GP” why do you not understand
I didn't expect you to put Twisted Colossus at #1 because it's my favorite and my favorite rides are never #1.
Twisted Colossus’ first drop is insane, also people really be hating on Full Throttle but it was surprisingly really good. You get thrown out of your seat over that loop.
I live 10 minutes away from the park and i have an annual pass so i could go every day
If your asking where i live i live at the apartments near Starbucks🍵 and Panda Express 🐼

Loved it, absolutely loved it! This video put a smile on my face. Can't wait to go back to magic mountain!
Bro. You’ll literally spend a whole day riding coasters. It’s literally the coaster capital of the world. I love it honestly even if I haven’t visited it.
Isn't that cedar point or energylandia
1:38 Yeah one time I went on goldrusher twice in a row during the day and BOTH TIMES I went under superman it launched. It was so loud. :( also NEVER RIDE VIPER IN THE FRONT only second to back row
Brad I rode viper in the front and it was much smoother than any other row
Ethan DuFresne no offense but then you have some problems
I rode in the back row and it was really rough, but the rows toward the front are much smoother
Why are you lying? Stop trying to hurt the guy lol the back is by far the worst
The forward launch of Superman was very intense for me. It was the first time I’d ever ridden smoothing at 100mph. I basically used Super Man as a warm up for Dragster.
9:55 I see what you did there.
Batman usually runs pretty fast. It's nice since it is in the back of the park you can just sit there and reride it as much as you want as there usually isn't much line assuming it's not packed that day.
Take a shot on how much times he says “I gotta say” and you’ll feel weirder then hydra the revenges layout
*i gotta say, the little tikes family fun was a great thrill. Load of ejector airtime and g force*

The New Revolution was my first coaster ☺️ I’ve been hooked ever since.
Congrats on quitting your job and doing this full time! I’m a huge fan of your videos...keep up the good work
X2 ... yes speechless!!! After getting off I couldnt express in words how awesome it was!! Truly 😁
I knew X2 would be in the top 3, best and most scariest ride I’ve been on because of the rotating seats
I agree except:
-Viper should be last
-Scream is too low
-Superman is too low
-Riddler is wayyyyy too high
Good video though

@@NathanKwadade The height of Goliath is 235ft, with a 255ft drop into the tunnel below
Because you went to SFMM during the summer, that Southern California heat made the rides run much faster, and so with Batman, it made it much more intense.
Its the same during the winter. Very smooth and fast.
That "dive loop" is a raven turn.
Green Lantern was soo extreme for such a small footprint, and DejaVu was really fun. Sad to see both go.
Twisted colossus was great and I got lucky almost every time I rode it
Now you're just bragging.
10:09 No Theme Park Crazy coaster ranking video would be complete without Peter comparing at least one coaster to food xD

Have you been to Great Adventure, or Great America (Gurnee)?
@@seanlewis1148 I've been to Great Adventure many times (used to live in Philly) but I prefer Magic Mountain's beautiful landscaping and coaster selection over Great Adventure's miles of concrete and gang wars.

Batman the ride is always good on everyday I hope you enjoyed your time there •=•
I couldn’t agree more with your list.
Magic Mountain has so many coasters that you're inevitably going to run into a few good ones.
I've been going here since I was little, it truly is a great park, and I've never ridden all the coasters in one day
