Thanks to all 270 of you who voted in this poll for ranking Magic Mountain! And to everyone asking for us to do this with Knott’s, we already did! Here’s the link: ruclips.net/video/GZ6asTt0jn0/видео.html
I thought about doing this myself but opted to rank all the coasters past and present, but this was so well done
Your video on ranking of all historical coasters at SFMM was cool. It made me nostalgic.
Going to find the past and present video now.
In my personal opinion, I think apocalypse is very underrated. A back row ride at night is an amazing experience. It’s my personal favorite back ride coaster
Couldnt agree more
gold rusher is better in my opinion
I rode that once when it was raining and there was no one in line so they just let us stay on and kept running us through. The rain was slapping me in the face so hard because that ride is pretty fast. I was soaked after a few rides, but that was a super fun time.
Apocalypse in my opinion has great airtime and speed but it just so loud lol
I never realized how fortunate I am to live in southern california. I've always loved coasters and recently began to enjoy rides such as hangtime at knotts berry farm. I looked at a map and realized that in one day I could visit knotts, disney, universal, and six flags in the same day since they're all 20-90 minutes away.
Same, having a season pass would be great too, since they are all not too far
Not in this LA traffic.
Nah man, it's that you could make a veritable two week vacation out of visiting nothing but amusement parks. If such a trip would be planned, I would honestly make the more extreme parks a priority and save stuff like Disneyland for the end. Theoretically, of course. Genie suuucks.
My list: (sfmm is my home park)
1 Tastu
2 X2
3 TC
4 WCR
5 Goliath
6 RR
7 SMEFK
8 Batman: the Ride
9 Full Throttle
10 Scream
11 Viper
Tatsu really is the best ride there, nearly interchangeable with X2. TC is a well deserved 3rd as you correctly have it. Viper hurts now and should be last ha.
yes.
Thank you Tatsu is by far the best ride at the park
@@smurf2374 well idk yet i haven't been on viper sence 2018
@@smurf2374 yeh
Green Lantern first flight not in the top 3? I must leave🤣
I need to RUN! I need to run away! I have to go! I have to get OUT OF HERE! I have to leave now!
i just saw one of your comments about getting free takis at six flags yesterday, and here i see you again lol!
my ability to make kids left when i rode green lantern
That ride was trash and now is permanently closed, rightfully so
@@zacharypeery4082 dang bro why are you so salty like you can dislike a ride but you don't have to be so rude/annoying
Your voice is honestly so satisfying lol
Kinda
not really
I have to say Lex really scared the crap out of me. Scream is the most underrated coaster ever.
i have to disagree. scream was boring
Well done Drew, such a great edit on this video. Can't wait to get back to SFMM
Drew your editing was ON POINT
8:32 Score: *Nice*
Im mentally preparring for six flags trip.
Twisted Colossus is my favorite. But I sure wasn't expecting it to be the highest ranking coaster in the park.
@@brockhuso4885 cuz it's one of the rare occasions where my preferences actually aligned with popular opinions lol
Such a well done video! 👌🏼 X2 scarred me so bad I don’t think I’d be able to ride again after almost 200 other coasters I’m totally fine with lol
Man some of these brought back so many awesome memories of my youth and some I have never been on yet and definently need to
Also screw drop of doom. Did it once and cried the whole way down.
That ride gets my adrenaline pumping like crazy, but it usually takes a couple beers beforehand to get the nerve to get on it.
Loved the fitting intro song! ❤️
Excellent as always Bros
This is such a fantastic list. I like to see people looking beyond just the coasters, especially since everybody thinks that Magic Mountain only has coasters. I'd love to see this kind of list for other parks like BGW, BGT, Dollywood, Silver Dollar Cty the Disney and Universal parks, Cedar Point and Kings Island.
I’m going tomorrow. My first theme park since the pandemic. I’m so excited to be home ❤️
im so excited to be home ? what!?
@@karimadrigal3062 six flags magic mountain is my home theme park
You sound like a 17yo Owen Wilson
great now i cant unhear it
He does tho-
Ayyyy bandstand!!
Can I ride a Jet Ski then?
Wow
My favorite: None of them because I am too scared to ride roller coasters :)
then gtfo
I hate roller coasters, I get anxiety watching this video but I’m going for a field trip, need to face my fears
Great video. I want to goto that park more than any six flags parks. I never been to California either. So just being in the golden state would be amazing😁
WOW ... I actually agree with this list ... I am shocked 😲 Great Job to everyone that voted, This is absolutely legit 👏🏻

Haven’t road West Coast Racers yet! Dying to try it
West Cost Racers in awesome! My first time trying it today
Magic Flyer should be #1 no 🧢
Super underrated 😤😤
As a major thrill seeker I feel so lucky to have Magic Mountain as my Home Park.
same too i feel very lucky that magic is my home park
It's been awhile since I've ridden the rides at Six Flags Magic Mountain. I think the last two rides I went on was Twisted Collosus and Full Throttle. But ever since I quit working there in November 2015, I've never been back there. But I did hear there have been some changes and new rides since I've been there.
Still haven't rode twisted colossus, last time I went, it was testing and we left before traffic got really bad
So I went for a vacation in the US (my first and only so far) and absolutely HAD to go to MM. Result: X2 was closed due to weather then we got stuck in the launch tunnel on Full Throttle for 15 minutes (Strobe lights during the entire time in there). Tatsu was awesome tho. Still salty about X2 being closed :(((
Nice list! Flip 1 and 2 and 4 and 5 and that would be my Top 5, but I get why #1 is 1 on this list and my #1 is 2nd on this list. I think Cedar Point should be the next park. Just throwing it out.
It is criminal that Flash doesn’t have an actual Roller Coaster 🎢 Also, Viper should change its name to ‘Whiplash’ because that’s what you get from this!
soon ;) (I’ve heard rumors that the new raptor is gonna be themed to flash or joker)
Gotta come here next year! Never been before and need to compare it to Cedar Point. Also I am curious to see if I will like it more than 6 Flags Great Adventure which is without a doubt one of the top 2 6 Flags parks.
I rode X2 in 2008 and hated it. It was the most uncomfortable and jerky experience. They also had huge flames, but you were pointed backward when they went off, so you just got the experience of feeling warm for a second.
This video made me realize just how long it’s been since I went to Magic Mountain. I didn’t even realize some rides weren’t there anymore and I had no clue about some of the new ones. I haven’t been since my high school graduation trip in 2011.
West Coast Racers getting the new ride bump. There’s no way it’s the 4th best ride in the park and three years from now people will be ranking it much lower. Great work on the video and would love to do Knotts!
ruclips.net/video/GZ6asTt0jn0/видео.html you got it! 😁
I have it at #4 as well. It’s a well needed “fun” ride that gets better the more you ride it. Of course it will move down in 3 years as at least two other coasters will have been added by then
I lived in Spain before moving back to California and the first ride is went on in about 7 years was X2. By far the best
SFMM is my home park. I love how you guys had the fans vote for the coasters. Well done! My favorite rides are:
1. Tatsu
2. Twisted Colossus
3. X2
4. Full Throttle
5. Viper.
No way Viper should be ahead of Batman, Goliath, WCR, or even Scream.
Last time I rode viper, it was a very uncomfortable ride
Awesome list surprised how highly people ranked Superman and Goliath though full throttle as well
I agree with many of the rankings on the coasters here. I just went here a couple weeks ago and I would switch the top 2. Twisted Colossus was amazing but X2, the last ride we did on our trip, blew me away with how exhilarating it was. We got a front row ride and we wanted to get right back on. I hear back row is more intense. 🤔 Twisted Colossus was my first RMC and it lived up to the hype and its legendary status. We got multiple rides on west coast racers and full throttle because they are both awesome rides. Tatsu was sadly closed so we didn’t get to experience that pretzel loop. I hear it just opened back up so I just missed it. 😭 SF Discovery Kingdom is my home park and nothing there holds a candle to Magic Mountain’s collection of behemoths.
I'm glad you had such an awesome trip & hopefully Tatsu is open when you make it back down this way!
Just got back, X2 back row was crazy intense, most thrilling I've experienced!
@@shauncollins6552 same. I got a night ride back row and it had the fire. Craziest experience of my life
so cool.
do Knott's Berry Farm, or Disneyland.
If you’re looking for Knott’s: ruclips.net/video/GZ6asTt0jn0/видео.html 😁
Disneyland isn't really a ride place it's hella overated
8:37 Batman got a pretty nice score NGL
11:52 I almost forgot about the light-up wheels
Bro when I went on Scrambler with my friend, the employee was telling us if we want to go faster and he did go faster and let us stay on the ride 3 times
I have been in California for all my life and I never been to six flags magic mountain before.
that intro music! I wanna ride X2 so bad
I almost flew out of the original X. Went on it for the first time and the uncaring student worker didn't pull my shoulder harness down all the way. I found out later that it's supposed to come down on top of your shoulders but on my 1st ride, the was like a 4-5 inch gap!
Most underrated comment, most underrated name!! For me, this might have happened for Superman UF at SGADV. It was my third ride on any roller coaster ever, and was my first roller coaster.
@@thecomputez-gaming8427 Right??? Usually a 4 to 5 inch gap is good...
I had the same thing happen a little while ago but you weren’t gonna fall out it’s still pretty secure
@@wyattandrew438 Yeah, I wasn't going to try to convince myself of that on a ride that I've never rode on that twists and turns upside down. By far one of the scariest moments of my life. Every time it looped upside down I can feel my body sliding out...😬
Goliath is so underrated
I got to go on Tatsu the day it reopened, one of the best there
My list:
1. X²
2. TC
3. Tatsu
4. Lex Luther
5. Full Trottle
6. Batman the Ride
7. Superman ESCAPE from KRYPTON
8. Ninja
8. New Revolution
9. Viper
10. Scream
I was there last august and it was amazing. On downside was that Riddlers Revenge was down
10.
Dam you really gonna do that to scream it’s a good ride 🤣
@@dayggo1302 haha
@@Phantasija lol
I heard many great things about Batman, but when I rode it the day it opened back to the public after the repaint it hurt my ears like crazy since my head was banging around in those awful shoulder harnests.
I think Tidal wave should be a little lower because the lines are always way to long and people only really go on it for the bridge at the end to get soaked, but still a good list
twisted is overall my favorite ride there lol
Anyone else like Tatsu but also hate it at the same time because the pretzel loop hurts your head? It a crazy and really cool loop but every time I ride it now I get extremely dizzy and have a headache for a while after. Anyone else experience this?
Me going to twisted colossus as a first ride for my first time going there 👁👄👁 and I’m scared to go on the other ones
Hey @parksbros, I’m taking my son to MM soon. He just went on Ghostrider and loved it. He’s only tall enough for the 48” rides. I was thinking Apocalypse and Revolution. What should I try after that if he loves them? Wonder Woman? Colossus?
As someone who operates rides at Bugs Bunny World, everything there deserves tied for 13th except for Road Runner, everything sucks to operate too. Also, Magic Flyer is actually part of “Complex” (Whistlestop, Pirate Rides) soooooo
twisted Colossus is my Favourite there then X2 then Tatsu then Goliath Viper Apocalypse West coast racers Riddlers revenge ,full trottole ninja superman batman scream gold rusher did not go on the Kidi coasters the frisbi swing ride and drop tower very good the dark ride good a very good park but i think Great Adventure is a tad beater
Can you please do my home park Six Flags New England sometime?
1. Scream
2. Goliath
3. Batman
4. Riddlers
5. Superman
6. Lex Luther
7. Twisted collosus
8. Tatsu
9. X2
10. Viper
11. West coast racers
12. The new revolution
Yea your gonna say why is x2 and and tatsu very low. Well I loved the rides and they were very fun but for some reason I just didn’t like them much and I rank scream first because that was my first coaster with inversions so I have to give credit to it
My rankings:
1. Twisted Colossus
2. Gold Rusher
3. Justice League
4. Riddler's Revenge
I think next park you should do is six flags great america
I would drop Craizantiy like 10 spots. I honestly think Jet Stream is a better log flume attraction.
Twisted Colossus was one I don’t need to ride again. Definitely not close to the best for our family.
Not a bad list at all. Tatsu, X2, and TC are all in my top 3 as well.
I need to travel to west Coast...Twisted Collossuss(sp?) and X2 are on my Bucket list!
Put Ghostrider on that list too. Back row, night ride hauls! It's a beautiful, classy coaster ride.
You'll love the rush...
Tatsu should be #1 on your list. That ride is like no other.
Colossus*
Sean Lewis oops
First time at X2 I fainted
I’d go on it again tho
imma do a top 5 I've only been there once
1.x2
2. twisted colossus
3. tastu
4.full throttle
5.batman the ride
ik ik batman the ride but I found it intense and compact
I haven't been to MM in almost 20 years. Wasn't that Wonder Women ride called Twister, or something related to spinning?
Knotts berry farm it is my home park
Please
👁👅👁
:)
ruclips.net/video/GZ6asTt0jn0/видео.html 😁
8:30 nice
I rode x2 a few days ago, it was intense.
I rode it today, it was a lot less scary than I pictured it to be, but I enjoyed it a lot.
Next do Both Disneyland and California Adventure
Can you do knotts?
I'am a little surprise to say that Roaring Rapids is the wettest water ride you've ridden because I went on that in 2014 and it barely even got me drenched. In fact, I also rode Shipwreck Rapids at SeaWorld San Diego, Bigfoot Rapids (now Calico River Rapids) at Knott's Berry Farm and Grizzly River Run at Disney's California Adventure and all those rides were wetter than this. Even Splash Mountain at Disneyland was more wet than that ride if you ask me.
By the way, how close does this lineup match with your personal ranking of these rides?
Hmmm, maybe you got a ride where all the splashes missed you. Most times I have ridden the boat is a regular swimming pool at the end and I feel like I might as well have just gone swimming. And I’m left sloshing around in wet shoes for the rest of the day. Ha! Ha! Tidal Wave is the one that has always disappointed me on the wet factor. Go on Roaring Rapids a few more times and I doubt you will get a dry ride every time.
Surprised how high riddler is
Might have to retheme apocalypse ..... too realll
my home park is six flags magic mountain
8:30 look at the score
Nice
My top 5
5: Scream

1:Twisted colossus
My top 5
1. Tatsu
2. Twisted Colossus
3. X2
4. Goliath
5. Riddlers Revenge
#1 X2
#2 tatsu
#3 goliath
bc i havent been on West coast racers yet
and Idc what yall say there the best top 3 rides in magic mountain
I keep saying that this will be the year that they tear down viper/rapids and build a record breaking giga coaster. How many more years?
What does the ceremony about X2 is about to begin mean?
Because the audio (when it works) when you’re in the station preparing to dispatch has a creepy voice saying, “Is everybody in? Is everybody in? Is everybody in??? The ceremony is about to begin!” I seem to remember reading somewhere that that voice belongs to Jim Morrison of the Doors. Riding that ride with a working audio truly is a memorable experience.
Riddlers is my fav !
Snoopy C thats an odd choice
Can you do the same for the Disneyland resort?
disneyland sucks
Yea
I hated colossus cause it felt like it was going to fall apart
Do cga next
Totally that’s my home park
Slingshot isn’t around anymore I don’t think.
8:34 the rating :O
Could you do Six Flags Discovery Kingdom🥺
As much as I like Twisted Colossus, I think the ride is too short as in height, I think if it was like 180 ft I would like it a lot more because it would add a lot of speed and have bigger inversions. That's just me of course
Im going with my freinds in like a month or 2 lol
