Love the video, gotta say thanks for saying how many people voted but woulda been nice to see how many people actually gave a number (didn't click "I haven't ridden) because I want to know how much my vote had to do with Sea Serpent being #1 had lol. Also woulda been fun for everything else to see the percentages (might be because I'm a stats nut)

um the harry potter coaster is basically same as the disneyland coaster at toon town. should be broken up to 3 categories kid coaster, family, normal. all the wild mouses are family or kiddy

I’m glad that Manta is higher than all the Disney creds. Manta is severely underrated. Not that Disney coasters are bad, they are just kinda tame for my liking.
I mean they're def not supposed to be intense but you gotta give it to them the theming is Immaculate.
Manta is overrated, not underrated. It’s just a family coaster that has some weak airtime and positives. The launches are weak too.

there's no way it's actually the worst. It's one of the only coasters in the state I've yet to get on but I love me some E&F miler.

CA Great America really spoiled me growing up. I used to think 45 minutes for Flight Deck was a long wait!
Cedar Fair gang Knott’s is my home park and I love it as well

The biggest shock to me was the placement of X2. I thought it would be #1 or 2.
X2 is slightly ahead of Twisted Colossus for me as the best coaster in the state but I understand the ranking because I know you have some people that just can't take that coaster. I think HangTime cracking the top 10 was my biggest surprise in the top 10.
Didn't expect railblazer at 2. I thought it would be #4,5 or 6

Thanks so much for fixing the system. Last year was just soooo biased agaisnt NorCal parks so it’s great to see Railblazer, Joker, Glostriker (although that was a bit of a low rank imo), etc. get the rankings they deserve
My biggest question is: If SeaWorld San Diego's Emperor was fully operational before the parks closed, I wonder where it would have ranked here?
I know it's a parking lot coaster, but wow, Scream is ranked WAY too low.

Giant Dipper (both of them) definitely got that view going for them, but SCBB has the better view. Plus the tunnel is a pretty sweet element (ignoring the deafening screams of people). Plus the maintenance is better but still got that traditional rough ride. Not to mention, if you're skinny like me, the old full car lapbar locks are awesome for air time and the laterals on that ride are so nuts it broke my friend's phone because I forgot to tell him to put it in the inside pocket. The historic value is the cherry on top.
I agree it should be higher but I don't have the Universal creds so I can't comment on ROT Mummy, but I definitely agree that it's better than Riddler, Batman: The Ride Coaster that Rolls and the Skyrockets
P.S. Did you know that the Roller Coaster dubbed "Batman: The Ride" made by Bolliger and Mabillard is, in fact, a moving, unpowered vehicle that can carry people up a lift hill and go through a layout? I only learned that today when my friends told me that it was, in fact, a ride, and not a flavor of pizza like I initially thought.

Great work! This was a massive upgrade from last year in both production and results. Most overrated= WCR (I think it’s first year hype and it will drop next year) Most underrated= Batman (that anti-clone prejudice dragging it down).

Very nice List overall. Been on 7 of the 26 kid coasters and 59 of the 63 big coasters and I'm missing the one that is SBNO, as well as Harley Quinn, Tidal Twister and the one in Sacramento, so I'm not missing much. Here is my Top 5:

My first roller coaster was the dragon at legoland California, and my latest coaster is... the dragon from legoland (Went right before the quarantine)

I like how your profile pic is California Screamin, yet it didn't make it in your top five. I understand if it's because you don't like Incredicoaster though. To me, Incredicoaster was a downgrade from Screamin.

I’ve only experienced so cal coasters as an adult unfortunately. But hope to get the chance to head north with my coaster buddy son sometime soon. I love your videos and they keep me hopeful that soon we might be able to ride again. And these favorites of mine will be very limited to 2 parks due to the thrill factor as well as multiple elements of my personal choice .and experience.
Honorable mention going out to a coaster that has been torn down due to the park being demolished a little over a year ago: Scandia Ontario ca.: “scandia screamer” rip or someone buy this thing to bring it back! Will be missed eternally. But for me top 5:

Interesting that Manta (at my home park) is #13. WWFC and and Emperor (which obviously debuted after this video) would push it down to #15 but CGA closing moves it back up to #13.
Magic Mountain was awesome 30 years ago. It must be amazing now. Don't think I'll ever be able to ride anymore, but sure wish I could. Getting old SUCKS!

I would like to object the placement of Magic Flyer at sfmm. I have been lucky to ride this when I was a kid and I hated it. It was rough, jerky, and downright painful. I don’t know why this was placed so high lol.

I was never able to ride Twisted due to my size which sucks and the staff was horrible to me but I can see how it can be fun, gotta say tatsu or x2 is prob the best in california though in my opinion.

No complaints. Top 5 would be in a different order for me but those 5 are definitely the best.

The only reason space mountain outranked incredicoaster is the theming, and soundtrack.
I mean yeah, I'm a sucker for its soundtrack. and tbh the loop on Incredicoaster isn't even as amazing as some other inversions in California
Zombie Hunter space mountain has an original soundtrack, incredicoaster is just recycled music from the incredibles movies, which is a downgrade from California screaming. The only other difference besides the tunnels is the pathetic incredibles statues plastered all over the ride.
Bruh this is wild... people do nothing but crap on Silver Bullet, but then it gets voted as the highest ranking invert in the state? Apocalypse ranked higher than Batman? Who even likes Apocalypse?

I have been on 32 out of 63 of the coasters
I think age should have included a handicap. I mean come on how are the 2 classic dippers going to compete against coasters that were designed on a computer software program, or have an innovative track design that makes for a smoother ride. Those dippers were LITERALLY designed with the following items: a piece of paper, a slide rule, and a pencil. Of course the most modern rides are going to be ranked better, because they are the new thing. However, I think the lists should have been broken down into a few categories: classics as in the oldest rides in the state, transition roller coasters, and a high thrills/speed/crazy type of ride. Comparing X2 to road runner express is apples to oranges. At this point I would say Revolution, Montezuma's Revenge and Ninja are in those "Transition" Category, highly innovative for the time, but now serve the role of being the first step for kids to tackle the "big kid rides."
Interesting that Roadrunner was 11, Gadgets was 4 and Merlin was tied for 2nd as they are all clones. Same for the big spread between CoastRider (61) and Technic Coaster (45). Yet somehow Superman/Electric Eel. were next to each other.
It’s definitely super interesting to see the difference in score considering they’re all clones.
