This is still my favorite park. I love Cedar Point. I love SFMM. I love Kings Island. I love Islands of Adventure. I love Universal Studios Florida and Hollywood. I love Six Flags Fiesta Texas. I love Knotts Berry Farm. I love Dollywood. I love every park at Walt Disney World. But I still find myself preferring the charm, detail and world class dark rides of Disneyland. I have not ridden a coaster that I enjoyed as much as I enjoy The Haunted Mansion, Indiana Jones Adventure or Splash Mountain. And it's not just the history and nostalgia of the park. I just think that it's on a different level than every other park I've visited. That said, I'm very intrigued to some day visit Efteling, Europa-Park, Disneyland Paris and Tokyo DisneySea.
My top 5 Disneyland/DCA attractions include: 5.) Incredicoaster 4.) Soarin' Over The World 3.) Haunted Mansion 2.) Big Thunder Mountain Railroad 1.) Matterhorn Bobsleds
Right now my favorite ride at Disneyland Park is the Matterhorn Bobsleds followed by Indiana Jones Adventure, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Splash Mountain, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin, Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Star Tours, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Pinocchio's Daring Journey, It's A Small World, Autopia, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion, The Disneyland Railroad, The Disneyland Monorail, Innoventions, The Sleeping Beauty Castle Walkthrough and Tarzan's Treehouse. That could easily change after future visites however. For one thing I was there before Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge was announced and some of the rides like Space Mountain were closed for refurbishment during my first and (so far) only visit in 2014.
When i went to Disneyland for the first time, me, my brother, and my cousins all got on Roger Rabbits car toon spin and it shut off halfway through. I never realized how creepy it is being in there by yourself with no sound. 😭😭
You West Coasters are so lucky that you still have Mr. Toad. I do love the Winnie the Pooh ride, but at least yours replaced the Country Bear Jamboree. That's something I've skipped in Florida since I was a teenager. Mr. Toad was my first Magic Kingdom obsession in 1990 when I had to ride both sides multiple times as a kid. And you guys still have Snow White! (As a New Yorker where they turned the abandoned Highline train rail into a park, maybe Disney can do that for your Peoplemover. It could be an incredible museum-adjacent walk through attraction!)

Great list! Out of curiosity, have you ever considered including defunct rides on these lists? I'd love to know where something like Rocket Rods or Country Bear Jamboree would compare to the current rides.
I’ve thought about it for rides that may have closed only a couple of years ago like the Bugs Land attractions. For stuff from over a decade ago like Rocket Rods, or Country Bear, most of my audience either doesn’t remember experiencing them, or weren’t born yet. So, I figure, at least for now to stick to currently operating rides. :)
My top 5 have to be 1 - Guardians of the Galaxy Mission Break Out 2 - Rise of the resistance 3 - Pirates of the Caribbean 4 - Incredicoaster 5 - Radiator Springs
They’re trying to please the agenda of the people who think everything’s offensive and racist. Yes, Splash Mountain has characters from a racist movie, but that doesn’t mean the ride is racist. They designed it with an original story so those stereotypes don’t even show up. Most people don’t even know what Song of the South is and associates those characters with only the ride. I’ll never forgive Disney for this decision and I’m praying I can go to WDW (California isn’t happening anytime soon) so I can get my last rides on this legendary attraction. If I don’t go before it closes I’m happy I have vivid memories of my last rides.
My favorite rides are: Pirates of the Caribbean Tower of terror The incredicoaster (I consider it part of Disneyland although it is in California adventure.) Obviously it’s a small world.. who doesn’t love it? Toy story mania Buzz light year Astro Blasters Star tours Rise of the resistance and the millennium falcon ride! Thunder mountains, splash mountain, space mountain Autotopia Mad tea party. Was my favorite ride as a little girl, I still love it! Jungle cruise! The cars land roller coaster, I forgot the name. Matterhorn even though I have never been on it, I know I’ll love it! Enchanted Tiki room, it’s so unique! The Indiana Jones ride.. the absolute best ride besides pirates. Mr toads.. just because it’s so funny because of dark twist at the end that’s just so random! HAUNTED MANSION!! So fun The little mermaid ride! ..well.. I may as well just put all of them on here, they’re all amazing and iconic.
It is currently 2022 and im watching this but they are turning splash mountain into Tiana Bayou Adventure, which in my opinion they are ruining a peace of history of Disney’s original park. :(They could have judt built a new ride tbh (MY OPINION :)).

I met one of my ex-best friends at Dumbo The flying elephant. So for me, that ride will always have a special meaning to me.
Snow White is the best of the dark rides, fight me. And as amazing as Rise of the Resistance is, Haunted Mansion will always be my favorite.
DLR is my fav. It was Walt’s too and I think it’s such a cool and chill ride :)
