No i didnt hear that. I just heard her trying to locate the runway. She was right to do so.
Lets also remember the area theyre flying into with the low hanging clouds which basically would be like flying directly into fog. Try and locate a runway with fog in your line of sight. Its not a walk in the oark even with ATC assistance.

@@Lostperson... your prob saying that because you are from Bangladesh.
Even in a simulator, you wouldn’t go for that even tho you don’t care about crashing. Dude came into the runway practically perpendicular
This is mainly the airlines fault, the ones who manage who flies the plane. They let the captain fly even though he had a history of depression in the past and on top of that he worked overtime and hadn't had enough sleep and was not functioning properly. The co-pilot tried to save the plane as much as she could. The pilots could've initiated a go-around (another approach to the runway) instead of turning such a short distance. Or the pilot should've let autopilot land the plane (if autopilot was available)
It is clearly the fault of the airline. If you accuse and fire a pilot, never ever let him fly a plane. Always gt an opinion from a mental health pro. He might have brought a firearm and shot many of his coworkers and supervisors.
That's really, really crazy. The craziest things I’ve ever seen. What a forceful landing.
Actually it Hadn,t approached It crashes with the heavy loss of the people and aircraft😢
I was travelling to bagdogra from guwahati in flight. While the whole journey was a smooth one, but while landing our flight touched the runway but took off soon to make a go around, i don't have any idea for what reason ? For a moment, i thought "Is this it ? Are we going to land safely ?" But fortunate enough nothing untoward happened & we landed safely !
Bhaity be safe...
A go-around is there to avoid an incident, it is not an incident. It can have many reasons - wind shears, unstabilized approach, order by the ATC...
The way the captain tried to land the plane reminds me of how I fly planes in GTA: San Andreas. You are flying and suddenly see the runway, and then you just dunk the plane onto the ground.
'You are without doubt the worst _pilot_ I've ever heard off'

The pilot was mentally unstable and the first officer too scared at the pilot acting like this. RIP
Ironically the dude was upset about being accused of sexual harassment by a student female pilot and the airline put him with another female pilot. The pilot seemed to be trying to get the female pilot to comfort and reassure him that he was a good person but the female pilot ignored him and only gave instrument reading and ATC messages.
A similar thing happened in Delta airlines but the first officer tricked Captain into leaving Cockpit and locked the door saving the plane.

Why was suicide not considered as also a possibility for this crash?
The pilot was forced to resign because of allegations against him of sexual harassment.
For a lot of poorer nations being a pilot is a prestigious position. And when you lose that position it can be of great shame.
This was the case with the Egypt Air that crashed killing everyone on board. Very similar circumstances. The pilot was in Europe when he was confronted about sexual harassment and was told to resign as soon as he lands back in Egypt. He was flying the plane back to Egypt and appeared to purposely seem confused. He brought down the plane killing everyone.
Suicides by pilots is more common than you think. Remember the German co-pilot who locked the cabin door when the pilot left to use the restroom. And flew the plane directly into the ground. There were reports of the pilot being heard on the flight recorder banging on the cabin door and pleading with the copilot to open the door.
Malaysia Airlines is another example with the plane that was lost and never found.
I wonder if the pilot to purposely appear confused as he had already had in his mind to take out his anger on his job and the airline????
I would bet that was the case. The pilot was held responsible for this crash. But it is difficult to prove suicide as you then prove to know what the pilot was thinking which is impossible.
I believe this was a SUICIDE and MURDER of all those who died. Very sad.
They should’ve done a go around, not try to land at way to steep of a angle….
and in my research I found this:
Causa: Pérdida de conciencia situacional por error del piloto provocado por fatiga, causando un error de alineación de pista al aterrizar
translation from spanish:
Cause: Loss of situational awareness due to pilot error caused by fatigue, causing runway alignment error upon landing
Even if the man was the pilot, the co pilot must correct the pilot.
Shockingly you can find the crash on airport cams on RUclips
I never heard of any aircraft heading straight for the control tower, its just unbelievable!!
Rip all departed soul.😪😪
The investigation concluded that the people at the control tower failed to orient the pilots properly and fast enough. And the captain suffered a breakdown and the female pilot was a rookie with barely any experience.

The pilot decided to buzz the tower
The pilot could have go away from the runway then have a safe U-turn in order to align to the runway and have a safe landing. Big oof there
My God! Why didn't he just go around? The Captain should have made that decision as soon as the FO saw the runway was way off to their 3 O'clock.
The pilot was in a mental and depressed state as he was under risk of being fired. that caused him to have mental and paranoid problems and human error, he was in a state where he didn't think of going around, he just wanted the plane to get on the ground
