I'd like to install this 3 piece cab trim on an 83 k10 that never had the trim. How hard would it be to install with no factory clip holes? I saw that the new clips come with the trim pieces, would that be all that's needed? Thanks for any advice

It would not be difficult. The factory clips were held on by small studs that were welded to the cab. The new part includes small screws that are used to secure the clips to the cab. On your truck you would run a chalk line to ensure your screw placement was level (and therefore the installed trim would be level as well) and drill/install the attaching screws. Thanks for the question!
