I am glad you have a new project. I have been watching your channel for four years when I started restoring my 63 GMC. I have learned a lot from your videos. Cab corners, floor pan, rockers, inter and outer door bottoms. Your a good teacher. Keep up the good work.
Same here. I’ve been a subscriber since his videos on the first truck probably 6 or 7 years ago. Great work and very thorough. I’ve learned a lot for when I start on my square body.
Love your videos. Been following for years. Was bummed once you stopped for min there. You inspired me to get on my grandfather's 64 c10 step side for my father to enjoy before he hands it back down to me. Keep up the great work! 👍🏼 you make it look simple. Like the use of th speed square. Im a field superintendent in commercial construction myself.
It's been great viewing you have all the fun saving these old 63 C10's, keep up the great work. Stay safe, may God Bless you, your Pops and family... Keep On Trucking Brother Gibs👍...
Good do see ya back in the saddle Gibby. I have watched most of your videos. From your red 1963, your dads 1963, then I believe your brothers 1959? Awesome work brother. Keep doin what your doin. 👍😎
Makes it look so easy... I'm finally welding in my patch panels, & it's nowhere near as easy as this guy makes it look! Lol! He's done built 2 more trucks since I started mine, & I'm not even half way done yet...Lol!
Don't give up, y'all will get'er done, then it's all smiles and miles with your arm around your girl as you cruzz around town together. Keep On Trucking Brother👍...
Love your 60-66 videos. I live in a norther state and fight the rust. I have a 63 K10 that I bought because from the windshield up it was in really good shape. The lowers are in BAD shape. I've like the techniques you use and will apply them on my rebuild that should start in the fall of 24. I'm finishing up a 69 Camaro that was a rusty mess. I think I need to buy southern cars going forward. This black truck is in really good shape for it's age.
Ziegler... A few Car Dealerships in my area South West Michigan with that name. I live in the "Snow Belt" so I know what your talking about it's also known as the "Rust Belt" lol... My 63 C10 LB Fleetside Big Back Window, Three On the Tree & I6 292 Custom is door skins, rocker panels, cab corners, inner floor rails & floor patch. Much work to do,but she's a special 63 C10 with lots of factory goodies... Keep On Trucking Brother Z👍...
I enjoy watching your videos. I’m restoring a 1967 C10. Can you tell me what size welder and wire you are using? Also settings on welder for replacing panels
Another very good instructional video. Thanks for posting. Do the 63 Chevy trucks have a sentimental connection, or is it the body style, or what is the appeal for that make and year model pickup? Just curious
Rust encapsulator = delayed holes through the sheet metal. I trust none of that stuff. I would sooner use Naval Jelly (very slow) or a solution, then neutralize it, dry it, epoxy primer and then go ahead with a patch. That is my plan of attack, not telling anyone to mimic. Do your thing.
I’m so glad you are back making videos I enjoy watching you rebuild these old trucks

Considering how bad those trucks rust that one is in amazing shape, but I think you said it came out of Alabama maybe that’s why . Great job.
Yes, I think the truck is in great shape to other than the roof skin I had to replace and around the windshield

Yes sir!!!
Another fine job sir.
Wonder what the GM assembly line folks would’ve said if they’d been told someone would be repairing their trucks 60 years later to keep them going
