Thanks Brother Steve Gibson for another lesson. Ive been watching you for years and im still amazed in how you access, think it through, tell your class how your going to execute your projects, and follow through with great detail till the end. Without a dout i speak for many others, Your a great teacher and we are following Your examples. I just bought a 1960 Big Back Window Cab for my Apache Stepside build and im going to be looking back for my lessons for the Apache as well as my 62 c10 Fleetside Shortbed Big Back Window. Thanks for what You do and for sharing. My GOD continue to richly Bless You and Your Family. Truck Driver Ray ✝️
Hey Gibson a little tip on thar backseat bracket. Yiu you could also get a couple of short pieces of 5/8" heater hose and slip on the ends. Then pull em off when you mate it to the bottom bracket.
Hi, new to the channel. Question - where do you get your seat covers? I am having a difficult time finding any that look as good as what you just put on.
I just did the same thing ... one thing when you weld spring steel it has a tendency to break at the end of the weld from heat ... gues we'l see how long it lasts ...looks good ...
Dude you have no idea how your videos make my day pal ! Another great content video ! one love pal ! Much love ! I can’t wait for the next one … all this motivates me to get to working on my 73 man ! I appreciate that 😊
I think the white stuff is called jute, if I remember correctly 🤔 Thanks for another fine rebuild of your bench seat Brother Gib's, it really looks great. May God continue to bless you Brother Gib's and Big Daddy each day. Keep On Trucking Brother Gib's👍
Its tetron/dacron, its a polyester spun fibre used as a fill or as a protective abrasion layer between foam and fabrics to stop abrassion on reverse side of piled fabrics. Jute is a bleached natural flax fibre used to make webbing/rope etc
For cutting the holes for mounting the backrest the best and simplest way is to use a small ball pein hammer( tap the ball in the hole just like making gaskets), It cuts a perfect circle and no need to melt it as vinyl doesnt frey anyway
I'm another viewer. Classic Auto is what that cover looks like. I Googled it. The black Pleated vinyl seat # is W1026000101. Acme Auto Headlining est 1948. 1960 - 1966. Cost $ 289 for the set. Hope this helps. Truck Driver Ray ✝️
Is there anything you don't know how to do...and with unbelievable results? There are people who do upholstery for a living that don't get a finished product like that! Also, where did you get that center console in your dad's truck? I really like that.

What center caps are on the black truck? I have the spinners like your blue truck and want to switch them… Do you happen to know where I could order a set ?
The blue truck was undercoated under cab complete, haven’t got to the black truck yet I’ll catch it when I redo the wood in the bed. Video should be coming up soon.
Another professional job. Best C10 channel on RUclips!
That bad boy got tore out. That bad dog got re-covered!

Great video my friend! I really gave learned a lot from you! Have a blessed day and weekend buddy!
Patience and Pride. Prior planning prevents pertinent and pesky problems!
Love your approach to the spring repair. You think things through very well. Finished results reflects your excellent work. Mike
Sadly welding sprung steel springs will almost always snap again right on the edge of the weld, no matter how you plate it.
Nice work as usual Gibson. 💪🏻

Very nice seat upholstery nicer than stock. Really good instructional.video.thanks

That white cottony stuff is called Dacron. It’s used to let the seat cover slide onto the seat frame easily.
I know you like the 60’s models, but have you every tried a frame/chassis swap?
Professional !
Nice job. You make these kinds of jobs a lot less scary for those who need to do it but have doubts. Keep it up. That’s a good looking Chevy stepside.
Thanks 👍
