Passionflower: calms the brain chatter, anxiety
    Nettle: antihistamine, allergy-relief, sinus headaches
Echinacea:immune boosting, blood purifying, best used before infection as a preventative in anticipation of entering a contagious time
Elderberry with ginger: antiviral, flu relief, shortens illness time.
Bitters: helps digestion: made from bitter herbs (dandelion, turmeric, chamomile, peppermint etc) that stimulate bile flow, decrease gas, helps regulate sugar cravings etc. taken at every meal before or after
2-3 dropfuls 2-3 times a day usually is a good dosage

Get a clean jar, it doesn't have to be a big jar. Chop up whatever herbs you're using and fill up the jar with the herbs, i only use fresh plants not dried. . Don't tightly pack them. Pour 100 proof vodka over the herbs, fill all the way to the rim so there's no airspace. Put the lid on, you can put a layer of wax paper between the liquid and lid but I usually don't. label it with the date and type of tincture and stick it in a cabinet or pantry. Shake it at least once or twice a week and let it sit for 6-8 weeks or longer. Strain and keep it in a bottle or jar. Thats it. Making tincture is incredibly easy, don't let anyone convince you it's not. To quote one of my favorite herbalist, "You're smart enough to do this"

I started growing my own elderberry. I leaned that for European elderberry (sambucus nigra) you need two different cultivars to cross pollinate each other. I use “Black Beauty” and “Black Lace” planted about 6-8 feet from each other. I had my best harvests begin after doing this.

I can fully vouch for nettle tea and tincture. I have/had that really bad react to mosquito bites, I started drinking nettle tea and not only do I now get bitten less frequently but when I do I don't have a huge allergic reaction. I made a nettle tincture and that is also very good used topically to reduce the itch of a bite.
And my hay fever is much better too, though some of that is attributed to using a neti pot with a drop of rosemary oil in every other night.
Herbs for healing. All the way! I could go on but I'll leave it there 😄

Nettles were the first herbal I investigated, shortly followed by plantain and lemon balm. This combo taken as a tea worked wonders for me when I was really run down and lacked energy and had stiff joints. I haven’t tried making tinctures yet, but I have a bottle of vodka that’s been sat in my cupboard for years, and as I’m sat here writing, I’m looking at the elderberries ripening just outside my living room window……..

@@hal3760 I use plantain as a spit poultice for cuts etc. it works a treat at stopping bleeding quickly, even if it’s quite a deep cut from my sharp whittling knives. It’s supposed to draw toxins or debris out of a wound too.
I guess the difference between a tincture and a shot is dosage, it will be fun finding out🤪🥃

hi! shipping outside of the US is super costly. The very very cool thing about the herbs I love the most is that they are pretty much the same herbs that Y'all would be using in the UK and I live in zone 7 so we have a lot of bio-region overlap! many many of these herbs you can grow as well. We are really working with the same materia medica

Anxiety is typically a vitamin deficiency; one that can't be handled by your standard 400 mg daily dose.
I suffered extreme anxiety which has completely gone away with a 1200 mg daily dose. I am currently on a maintenance dose of 600 - 800 mg daily.
Note: the type of magnesium is also important. I personally use a supplement with 5 types of magnesium (Citrate, Succinate,, Glycinate, Malate, and Taurinate) Source Naturals - Ultra Mag. Taken in divide doses throughout the day.
My Anxiety attacks were no joke. It looked more like a seizure with me ending on the floor sucking air like a fish out of water, and resulting in a irregular heart beat.
