I want to add a warning. I was delighted to discover Stinging Nettle! It tastes good and grows in the back yard and really helped with my arthritis and allergies, But, I have been severely anemic All my life and otc iron pills didn't work. However, nettle evidently is a key to making your receptors open and accepting of the iron that you take and that's in your food, etc... Just having nettle tea daily and some sauteed with onions, so unlocked my receptors to the point that suddenly I tested for a really high ferritin count. For those of us who are not doctors, ferritin is a protein in your blood that stores iron, and a blood test measures the amount of ferritin in your blood. The normal range for women is (according to Google) 24-307 ng/ml. After a few months of taking nettle tea and eating nettle, my anemic body suddenly has an overload of ferritins! 1224 ferritin count! So do your research! I had no idea. I'm thrilled to not be anemic, but I got very excited about the benefits of nettle and overdid it. I'm a lot more careful now, so I still have some arthritis pains and allergies but I temper it with occasional nettle. At 72, my body had been anemic for so long that it didn't know what to do with all that iron. It's not life threatening or anything, but it scared the doctor.😂 Edited for spelling.

That's bs, alcoholics can't use these, the alcohol is more of a preservative. Not to mention taking alcohol throughout the day is still not a good idea for work and driving.

That's great and all but we're putting bandaids on broken legs at this point. We need to start getting down to the root cause and healing that instead of just treating symptoms.

@@JohannaVeerenhuis Gotcha. Yea most people just use anxiety relieving techniques but don't get to the bottom of the root cause of their issues like anxiety, depression, etc. This is mostly the systems fault trying to keep people broken. They don't want us healing ourselves because then we won't need them. I feel for the ones that try to reach out for help and get nothing but techniques. I was one of those people.

Nettle extracted in Glycerin is also a very effective antihistamine and works great for allergies ... especially when required to give to children who may have an aversion to an alcohol tincture. The molecular structure of Vegetable Glycerin is similar to alcohol and therefore does well extracting the same properties without actually using alcohol.

❤ I grow many of my own herbs and mix them to make teas. Lavendar and thyme are great together because many times people are in pain while suffering anxiety. I was recently ‘off’ and didn’t realize my body was physically in need of help but took tea for the day at work making me forget my ‘off’ feeling so I got more done in the day than I earlier thought was possible. 😊 Thank you for this video!
