Just found this channel, and the website. No point saving individual videos to my watch list, the whole thing is essential. Never seen anything this comprehensive before. 👏👏🥊🥊
Ohhh can't wait to try this, I'm a beginner and got my own heavy bag and speed bag for now. Stumbled on 1 video and now this, awesome videos and work. Just subscribed I'm going to use these to learn to hit the bag as I'm a little embarrassed to do it at the gym since I don't know how to hit the bag or anything, bit I feel so much better with content like this out there for us rookies. We all gotta start somewhere!
You will find hitting the bag is one of the greatest ways to get in fantastic shape. You’ll be surprised how quickly you become good at it. I’m sure in no time you’ll be feeling very comfortable to hit the bag at the gym as well. Thank you for taking the time to watch😎😎😎😎
Clicked as soon as I saw your new video. I copied your routine from another vid too early last year. 9 rounds with 3 shadowboxing, 3 double end bag, and 3 heavy bag.
Hi Mike great lesson again I'm thinking of a visit to my local boxing club I'm 63 but would like to get fit after a major operation ,liver transplant, you have inspired me to go and train atb from North wales
I'm glad that you're going to try it out. The great thing about boxing is that it's only as intense as you wish to make it. For example, since you're just recovering from an operation, I would recommend that you perhaps forgo the heavy bag for now and focus on the shadow boxing and the double-ended bag as they are very low impact and can be done in place without having to move too much. You will definelty get a great workout but its still very easy on the joints. The age is only a number as im 42, one of my main training partners is in his mid 50's and there are a few gentlemen at the gym that are in their 80's and still box. (i made a video on this channel with my friend Guy a couple of months ago who is 82) I wish you all of the best with your recovery and i think you're making a wise decision to add some boxing to your rehabilitation routine. Thanks for watching : )
Thanks coach for the great advice. Can you please put out more heavy bag videos. Particularly aiming at improving footwork and head movements along with heavy bag practice.
Nice video mate, boxing training is the best thing you can do for fitness. I hope your video encourages more to go. Video was great, simple to follow. 👌👍
Thank you for taking the time to watch. It was a bad habit that I picked up after a shoulder injury….there is another video on this channel where called Jab specialist , where I try to fix that exact issue. You have a great eye… thank you for taking the time to comment😎😎😎😎
Make sure that your protein intake is high enough…. And that you have enough calories from nutrition sources. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch😎😎😎
prashant kumar thanks for commenting ... we have one video for getting ready to spar ... but I thought about doing a whole series of sparring videos with some pro fighters to explain some tactics during sparring ... I’m not too sure how many people would be interested though ... but I’m going to do it :)
Great video. I’m 50 years old and need to burn some fat. I feel Boxing is a great way to do so. I’m going to join a boxing gym and of course get some help there with the basics. Don’t want to spar too much. How many times per week do you recommend this routine?
Thanks for commenting. Boxing is one of the best ways to get into fantastic shape and you don’t need to spar to fight fat 🙂 I recommend doing something like this 3 days per week and you’ll find that you’ll see results fairly quickly and you’ll have fun while you do it 😎
Fight your way Fit thanks! I’m just starting to work out and would like to start slow with this routine. Do you have a recommendation how to start slow with this routine?
The main thing when starting any routine is to not let it frustrate you ... don’t put any pressure on yourself ...it’s supposed to be fun. So when I’m training people I always like to slowly ease them into everything. I’m not too fussy with technique in the beginning as that will come in time... I usually just want them to keep their hands moving. They don’t need to be punching very fast or hard ... just mentally get used to hanging in there until the end... even if the are only slowly going through the motions in the later rounds. Any time they feel exhausted... I tell them to breathe and take a moment and regroup... then continue when you can. Most people find this type of routine pretty tough in the begging but before you know it they are flying through it and punching harder and faster every workout ... then the weight just starts flying off because they have found a workout that’s intense yet they can stick to it because it’s become fun to do.
@Fight your way Fit this is excellent! But two questions, 1. How consistently should I do this work out? Every day every other day, or what? And 2. I don't have a gym membership, and I'm just starting boxing. But I do have a double end bag at home. Should I buy a heavy bag and speed bag? Or what can I do at home to finish my work out without those two pieces of equipment?
Thank you so much for taking the time to watch. You don’t necessarily have to buy a heavy bag you can always try something different like shadowboxing as an extra workout. There is also a video on this channel about using the speed bag. If it’s a good workout you’re looking for in that video I suggest using a flexible ruler in place of a speed bag that will give your shoulders the same type of workout. I’m glad that you’re trying out the boxing… if you keep it up consistently you’re going to find that your results will be amazing. And to answer your question I would do this type of training every other day as you don’t want to over train either Thank you for taking the time to watch😎😎😎😎
First I'd like to say thanks. I've Been using your videos since Xmas day. Took your advice on the whey protein and so far I've lost 15 lbs, which ain't bad seen as I've not worked out in over 15 years 👍. I've got a double end bag heavy bag and maxi glider, I'm going to be really cheeky and ask you if you could help me with a program that involves all 3. I generally use your advanced heavy bag routine and advanced double end bag routine and recently come across your 1800 video which is great. If you can't help me could you point me in the right direction are to a video you may have already done but I've not come across, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks again.
Thank you for taking the time to watch. The problem with training twice a day doing the exact same form of exercises that you do not want to overwork the muscles involved. You will notice that even the best fighters in the world usually don’t train twice a day for boxing. Many fighters do train six days a week twice a day..yet they usually box in the morning and do some strength and conditioning work in the evening such as lifting weights or running. 😎😎😎
@@fightyourwayfit Thanks for your answer! I was doing 1 hour of weights and w hours of boxing. Now I'll drop it to one of each and 30 min cardio a few times a week!
You’re absolutely right and that’s why In a recent video I went to a professional boxing trainer to fix it. I thank you for taking the time to watch and for commenting 🙂🙂

Sir, last year you have posted same video Boxing Workout in your home gym, I know it exactly coz I watched 5 times, the differents are= 1. In last video, we do double end bag first at 7-10, why in this video you reverse it by heavy bag first? 2. No freestyle in last minute in heavy bag, I suggest more specific info about heavy bag Sir, include in and out range of fight, will you do it?
teng leehwa thank you again for commenting :) The home gym routine was done in a colder environment and if that’s the case then I always prefer to be extra warm before hitting the heavy bag as that’s the apparatus that is the toughest on the joints. Coming up I have a boxing video using a vest, a new jab video, some sparring videos and a couple videos with kicks. I remember that you wanted those more advanced heavy bag videos with the different ranges and I’ll definitely get to those. Thanks again for watching 😎
dont know if you still check video comments, but would you say someone new to boxing would be better doing this kind of routine instead of running or lifting at least at the beginning because of sport specificity?
At the end of the day it will always depend on what you were looking for as a result. For example if you were looking to get into great overall physical condition then you can definitely do this routine. Yet if you were looking to increase your muscle mass for example you may be better off using some resistance training such as lifting weights. People that are new to boxing and want to give it a try this would be a good type of routine to follow. You could show up to any gym and follow this routine on your own. There is no doubt that if this routine was done for 4 to 6 weeks …you would see a great improvement in your physical capability as well as your boxing technique Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment😎😎😎
