I found that cooking it in a slow cooker works wonders. In fact, that’s my method of cooking my oblayo. It makes it more tender and creamier . It just takes longer😬🤦🏽♀️.So if I want to eat it in the morning I start the previous night and set it for about 8 or 10hours. Thanks Sweet Adjeley😘.

I'm very old school and love different cultures and roots, this corn porridge I have to try, is this same as samp, here in SA it looks like samp and takes very long to cook, I use it with lamb or chicken and Zulu beans etc and comes out yummy esp for winter it's great comfort. But now I must try this porridge, I'm sure it's delicious. Thank you for sharing your recipes. God bless you always
