      J’suis africaine de l’ouest et c’est la première fois que je vois que l’on cuit la banane avec la peau 🤮🤮🤮🤮. Invraisemblable , car la banane sous aucun prétexte se mange avec la peau , jamais, jamais et encore jamais de la vie sur cette terre des hommes

      Plantain skin has iron, which is good if you're anemic. Don't use store bought, full of chemicals.

      Katita::são comestíveis sim.Mas por favor tome cuidado para não comprar bananas que são amadurecidas com CARBORETO ou outro tipo de veneno químico. A banana da qual podemos consumir a casca é aquela orgânica (produzida só na terra mesmo ,sem qualquer tipo de produtos químicos).

      ​@@daniellawisham3796not all store bought has chemical... Omeb's unripe plantain flour does not have chemical. It is 100% natural with 0% additive and 0% preservative

    I love unripe plantain so much. Either the porridge or boiled with the back. I have also noticed it takes care of ulcer. I will definitely try this recipe.

      My mum as being doing this for year this is wrong info, yam flour plantain flour and cassava flour are called amala in yoruba, my mum do mixed the yaw with plantain and sundry it and blended to powder for consumption

    So I used this particular method of yours in my home for my husband, myself and daughter with correct leafy okra soup and we both enjoyed it. The issue now is that hubby is hooked and wants to eat this particular green plaintain with the skin always. I blame myself for showing my self sha😂😂😂😂 Joyful cook see what you have caused o🤣🤣😂😂

      It’s a yoruba food in nigeria a lot of yoruba food and culture are found in Brazil it’s transfer there through slavery era.

    I'll only leave the plantain skin on, if it's coming from my backyard or farm since a lot of chemicals are sprayed on the plantain before exporting.

      In that case soak in vinegar and water for a few mins , wash with a sponge and rinse.
