Set in the fridge what you'll use in the next 3-4 days. All the rest, divide and FREEZE. When you need more, pull out a division, don't fully defrost. You'll gain a greater nutrition value by freezing and then eating before fully defrosted. Also all the water you drain off, use on your house/garden plants.

Everything looked great but I would rather use a wide open bottle for safe ,you never know ,pieces of plastic may fall into the beans . Please be advised about this . This is a great idea of making sprouted beans and a fun project for kids to experiment. We usually use a cotton fabric or cheese cloth tie it around the tap so the water drains and sprinkle water everyday for 3-4 days .
But thanks for the bottle idea ,we can see what’s going on .

Eat a pinch full 3 times a day with whatever I eat. Just grown in a cool drink bottle sideway with large hole, dampen ever day for up to 5 days place is window for light. In dark they did not flourish. Very simple to grow.

I use glass jars instead for two reasons...
    1. Avoid usage of Plastics to save environment because everytime you cut a bottle and use a new one...
    2. Avoid using Plastics to protect leach out in food...
I would recommend same process in a glass jar... Use cheese cloth instead of making holes in jar cap... Just tie it at the jar neck...

Agreed with the avoidance of using plastic, but unfortunately it is almost unavoidable. We all buy products in plastic of some kind. I myself have been using only glass in my home for 35 years. If I have something that came in plastic and I can reuse it without contamination to me then I will re-use it.
