I have been prescribed everything from Norco to Fentynal patches for chronic pain due to severe nerve damage. Nothing worked for the pain; it only made me nauseous. I talked to professional athletes, trainers, and cannabis-friendly doctors; through monitored trial and error, I found that a 6:1 ratio of CBD to THC helped reduce my pain.
From my experience and all the literature I read (mostly boring medical journals because I had time), you must have a CBD:THC ratio. The THC is what activates and opens the neuron receptors for the CBD to be effective. Find a reputable dispensary and talk to the employees. Do not buy anything labeled as "Hemp-based" because there is no THC. Trash companies are getting rich off "Hemp-based" products that are nothing more than a placebo.

I have real trauma on my vertebrae from an Army career. Three lumbar and three cervical compressed disks with slipage. Ibuprofen allows me to move with minimal pain, barring a spasm which requires a narcotic muscle relaxer. The last spasm caused nerve damage, my right cheek sunk and my left thigh has no more skin sensation on the front. CBD was useless, expensive, and I think its just a scam to get cannabis closer to public approval. I get 500 tablets of 200mg ibuprofen for 7 dollars and I don't have stomach problems with it. I don't have seizures so I cannot speak for that, but CBD is not an effective pain reliever for real trauma.

Well, there is one snake oil that was confirmed to work, it's a species of Chinese snake, every other snake in the world seems to be absent that effect. One of those weird, but confirmed true. In the US, well, snake oil was pretty much anything, due to no regulation, disproving Libertarian nonsense, as in some cases, "snake oil" was booze and motor oil...
I've found plain hemp oil seems to exhibit mild anti-inflammatory effects and mild pain relief, that and ibuprofen tend to take the edge off, although I dislike having additional pills to take - especially a hemp oil horse caplet.

Majority of the time, it's all rubbish, and a sales tactic. I could tell you my urine has been lab tested, and scientifically proven to cure cancer, but is anyone really going to drink it? hell, in this world, some might lol.

@@vonshroom2068To Be fair. A huge problem with studying CBD and cannabis in general by organizations like the FDA. Is that even though over half of the states have decriminalized it? It is still federally illegal meaning that actual government agencies from the core government still don't have access to it because it's illegal on their end. For example, even though in Nevada, cannabis products are legal. You can't use any of them in casinos because casinos fall under federal regulation as opposed to state regulation. Why everyone's pushing for the federal government to decriminalize it because then we can get actual research done and put out better healthier actual working products.

I have mild (so far) arthritis in a few joints in my hand. I tried a number of CBD-only products from various manufacturers and in various doses but it didn't seem to help. When I tried a full spectrum CBD, I noticed some pain reduction after about a week -- the spontaneous flare-ups stopped -- but the joints still could be provoked into pain by stressing them. I guess my point is, for me, it didn't act like an aspirin that gives relief in an hour, but instead seemed to be a cumulative thing. I was taking 30mg CBD + 1.2mg THC twice a day.
Unfortunately, after around a year it didn't seem to be making a difference. If I increased my dose much more then it affected my thinking and energy, so I simply stopped taking it.
BTW, at 4:44 of the video, it shows a 300mg bottle of CBD for $40. For sure there quite a few very expensive brands out there, but there are also some brands that have been around for years that are not expensive at all. There are reputable vendors that price their full-spectrum tinctures at two cents per mg.

I have pretty crippling anxiety, depression, and OCD. It's to the point where my doctor said if it were a physical disability, he could get me on disability but since it's a mental disability the government doesn't take it too seriously. The medicine I've been prescribed but don't really take is extremely strong stuff, with a fairly good chance of causing early onset dementia and Alzheimer' (by early my doctor told me like mid 40s). So yeah CBD might not be the perfect thing, but fatty liver is treatable and lifelong mental decline is not. If it will help me be able to hold down a job, I might discuss this with my doctor. Again it's still a major issue in my life, but as much as possible I try to give my anxiety superficial problems to focus on instead of real ones and that helps a lot. In any case, medication works differently for everyone. I'd definitely talk to an actual doctor about what would be the best things for you to try. People might tell you what worked for them, but unless they're a very close relative it won't mean much.

I understand that for crippling anxiety it might be extremely strong stuff like xanax, but for depression and OCD there aren't any extremely strong stuff, Antidepressants, more specifically SSRI's counteract both OCD and depression, and can help as well with anxiety. I recommend going on some zoloft or prozac, but for anxiety you would need to find some good medication if you don't want therapy
CBD can help with depression and anxiety but won't help at all with OCD, you should probably take CBD with antidepressants and see the effect.
Remember not to take CBD with sleeping pills or xanax as it looks like that it kind of acts like a depressant (not depressant that makes you depressed, just depresses the nervous system) as taking both at the same time can multiply the effect and make you more tired or relaxed which you might not want

Never encourage people to go on fuckin SSRI's! They're poison, addictive & trying to get off of them is torture! Obviously if there's no other option & still crippled with anxiety then it's a last resort. But generally once on them, it's basically for life.. they change the brain chemistry forever & they've never ever proved that low serotonin is the cause of depression, short term use works for some & they can stop using them. They only dull emotions. In my experience they've never worked for depression, they do help me for panic disorder but not GAD. I honestly wish I'd never took them, I've resigned myself to the fact I'll probably be on them forever..
The amount of natural and other safe remedies for anxiety far better!
Phenibut (This ones tricky because it's addictive if abused) but helps with both severe anxiety/low mood/depression
Ashwaghanda helps alot with both too
      L thiamine
      Valerian
      Rhodiola
      CBD
      5 - HTP
      Kratom
And you can use a few of these in conjunction with each other - companies make blends of ashwaghanda + Rhodiola for example, but one could use cbd & L thiamine+Kratom, which would deff help with any pain plus chill you out while feelin pretty positive about life. etc. Depends on what they're tryin to alleviate the most.
Alot of positives to these supplements also outwith the main use..
Amino acids, plants/roots herbs.. nature really does have a better option for so many ills... don't get me wrong, there's a place for pharmaceuticals.. even the 3 diff types of antidepressant, I just got put on SSRI's far too young without knowin the bigger picture & was in real need of somethin/anythin for the extreme anxiety.. It helped (3 weeks later lol!) But not like how a benzo woulda (straight away & with zero anxiety left). Just blissful relaxation...
Kratom can even get people off of opiate addictions minus the wd & isn't classed as one.. they kinda work similar. L-theamine detoxes the body the way lots of green tea does
But I've bored myself lol.. people should research these "supplements" all safe unless allergies I s'pose but even using 2,3 upto 4 in tandem is safe but always buy the best quality of each one

In my late teens & 20s my friends and I would do shrooms, Isd, and ecstasy occasionally. Good times!
All were positive, fun, spiritual experiences. But, it's been decades. I don't know anyone who knows anyone who can get psychedelics from. I live in LA & there's a Kush store three blocks from my house, but I can't function alone on weed. I wish they sold psilocybin gummies. I'm a little depressed & a little anxious on a regular basis. I'm not a big drinker and I hate taking pills.

I'm undergoing radiotherapy, and there's much pain and pressure at the point of irradiation, which Cannabis appears to be useful at relieving. The only side-effect so far has been mild throat irritation from both the smoke and the oil.
I've been using other known anti-inflammatory drugs "from the field". Chiretta (Andrographis paniculata) apparently doesn't cut it, but Holy Basil (Ocimum tenuiflorum) does a great job at keeping me positive, as expected. I still have to try its reputedly more antinociceptive cousin, Ocimum gratissimum. I've always used it externally, for minor cuts, abrasions, scratches and insect bites, never PO except as a spice.

True, you need the “Entourage” to get that effect from CBD. The more variety of them you take (CBD, CBG, CBN, THC, etc), the more they help each other. I take a broad-spectrum 25mg CBD gummy (which means most of the team is in it) each day and it has helped remove anxiety from my days. CBD removes the bad feeling, so that you can finally feel the good.

I find CBD works very well for me at around 500mg per day. I take TGA approved versions here in Australia which I think has better regulation that the US if Epidialex is really still the only FDA approved option. It only helps with my muscle spasm pain. My other main pain killer gabapentin is also used in seizure disorders so perhaps the fact that my pain is related to spasmosity makes a big difference in how efficatious it is. At doses below 25mg I have never felt anything and under 100mg the effect is minimal.

  • @blu12gaming44

CBD definitely works for pain and anxiety, the main problem (as the video suggested) is that there are a lot of grifters out there that sell oil with very little actual CBD in it. The biggest thing to watch out for currently is if they are talking about the milligram dosage on the bottle referring to how much ACTUAL CBD is in the product, or if they are quietly referring to how much hemp oil is in it. Most scams out there will put out labels with doses like '1500mg' but really mean they just put that much hemp oil in so they don't have to pay for the actual CBD isolate.
TL;DR if it isn't working: it's probably because there's little to no CBD actually in there because some slime ball did a bait & switch, rather than actual CBD not having an effect on you.

People look at CBD in the wrong way. It's not supposed to be something that you take and get immediate results from like reduced pain or stress. It's better to look at it more like a vitamin that your body needs in order to stay healthy in order to prevent pain and stress from getting worse in the long term. It's something you need to be taking daily for a few weeks for it's effects to be noticeable. I take it for hair loss and it defiantly helps.

THC and CBD have helped me A LOT. im a very stressed person for basically no reason and it really helps keep me calm. with CBD theres no side effects but with THC the worst side effects you can get are paranoia and dry eyes and dry mouth. you'll also eat your whole kitchen or fall asleep but i dont see those as bad side effects lol. not to mention in comparison to alcohol and cigarettes? yeah you're all better off smoking the green as some kind of "vice" than those 2. not one death related to THC or CBD but millions from alcohol and cigs and those are LEGAL. a big reason hemp isn't legal is because the government can't make money off it for whatever reason. i mean how many people are gunna make their own hemp ropes? you need a factory to make that lol. hemp would help the economy a lot and they just wont finally legalize it everywhere. i mean if you do smoke it you'll have breathing issues sure but if you just eat it then you're fine. snoop dog smokes 81 joints a day and look at him.
there was one strain i tried that really made my body pain go away (it was hindu kush i think) and omg, i have back and knee issues and when it kicked in, the pain wasn't gone but i didn't care lol. i could do things and i just didn't care about the pain i felt, it was like a pleasurable pain in a way. it just felt so good to finally not have pains for once.

The elevated liver enzymes in the blood do not themselves cause liver disease, they are the result of the liver damage. These enzymes are too large to diffuse out of the liver cells, to be present intact in the blood the liver cells need to lyse ie rip open. This does happen when liver cells die naturally which happens all the time thus why there is a baseline level present in everyone's blood. When these levels are elevated this is evidence that hepatocytes (Liver cells) are dying at an abnormally high rate, this can happen from time to time but if this abnormal loss of liver cells becomes chronic that is when the voids in the liver tissue left behind start filling up with crud, initially fat which can if the problem is resolved slowly be cleared out but if not later tends to get replaced with scar tissue. If that happens you have cirrhosis and the effected portions of the liver will never recover you have a lump of collagen where living cells should normally grow and it will still be there a few centuries after all the cells have rotted away. Collagens are really strong proteins that twist around each other and form a lot of links between each other. Imagine trying to untangle your earbuds but there is a thousand pairs all mixed together with cables a mile long and the plastic between them has randomly fused to the nearest wire to pass them every few centimetres along each of them. That is a lot like collagen it forms itself into a complex twisted mess and binds to itself and the other proteins it is twisted around in such a way as to be a nightmare to degrade.
