Some amazing towns, but the names are even better, my favourite is Frankenstein followed by Pocahontas, another top video, best regards Andy.
Thanks Andy! I like Frankenstein too. Some of my other favorites are Humansville, Powersville, and Tightwad lol. I also like the towns that share a name with other places like California, Paris, and Cuba. Have a good weekend
This is awesome! They should play this at Missouri visitor centers.
That’d be so cool! lol. Thanks man I really appreciate it
Thanks for this Spencer. Great work and a good record to keep as a reminder where you went. I will be going through it over the weekend. Greetings, Julie.
Thanks Julie! It’s been nice visiting these places and learning the history of Missouri. Have a great weekend
Tightwad bank...love it...
*_Impressive and beautiful impressions from the fascinating Missouri, great video Spencer *20-22*_*
*_Have a nice and restful Sunday! With best wishes :-) Richard_*
Thanks Richard! It took me a long time to film all these. Glad you enjoyed seeing these towns :) Have a nice Sunday!
You have chosen a beautiful image for each of the cities you visited for editing this video. You are an encyclopedia for Missouri tourism! Thank you very much, I loved it!
Thanks Annie that really means a lot to me! :)
Wow! That was so pleasant to watch! I grew up in Manchester, Missouri which was not in the video but I recognized some places that were. That took a lot of work to put together and it is so well done. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks Tommy! Yeah I haven’t really filmed too many towns on the east side. I just looked and the closest thing I’ve filmed to Manchester is the giant sculpture at Central Park in Chesterfield. It took me two years to film all of these towns but it was definitely worth it. Before starting my channel I never knew Missouri shared so many town names with other places in the world. Towns like Versailles, Milan, Paris, Cuba, Amsterdam, and Mexico. Then there’s strange town names like Peculiar, Humansville, and Frankenstein. There’s even a fake town on Route 66 called Uranus that has the Uranus Fudge Factory 😂. Visiting these towns has also helped me learn a lot of history. I’ve had the chance to visit places where people like Laura Ingalls Wilder, Mark Twain, Harry S Truman, and Walt Disney lived. Glad you enjoyed the video thanks for joining me on my adventures!
@@kcvids816 When I was a kid, a friend of mine's family had a cabin in Cuba and so I got to visit there for a weekend. That's a beautiful area and this video proves that every town you go to has something cool to see!
Beautiful and interesting video! Thank you for sharing.
Thanks I’m glad you enjoyed it :) Took me a long time to visit all these lol
Just moved to Missouri six months ago thanks for the tour
Welcome to Missouri! 😊
I am originally from Marceline Missouri and now I live in Moberly Missouri.
Wow KC that was a lot of work and dedication. Nicely done. Have a good evening.
Thanks Brenda! I never thought I’d visit so many towns in Missouri but here we are lol. Have a good one :)
I looked with interest your photos... 100 Missouri Towns and Villages!
You have perfectly picked up photos to each town... For each town its "visiting" card...
Thank you for the fascinating video. Warm greetings.
Thanks so much it took me a long time to visit all these places but I’m glad I did :) Appreciate your comment it means a lot to me!

Beautiful images for each place you'd be great at pr for these places thumbs up x
Thank you! It’s been fun, I never thought I’d visit so many towns here lol
Oh sure, especially the one with the old truck and the other one with the Big Bass Store
What can I say love this!
Glad you enjoyed it thank you! I subscribed your channel recently. Looks like you’ve filmed some very interesting locations around the Bootheel!
Awesome video. Took a lot to get all those.
Thanks Steve! It took me a couple years to see all these places. Next time you’re in KC let me know, we’ll grill up some bbq :)
🍀nice video🌺🌼
Thank you!
Complimenti! Mi piace tanto!👍 🌞
Grazie mille Medusa!
A gorgeous piece of America i can't wait to call home.
Thank you and welcome to Missouri!
I'm moving there next month and I am looking forward to the change.
Good video. I seen that Cuba was on there but not Rolla. I seen that you did the stonehenge but that town has grown so much over the years even with it being a college town. Still a cool video
Thanks Charlie that’s a good idea to show more of Rolla. I’ve only been there that one time to see the Stonehenge.
That it has Rolla has grown so much in the last few years
What is the song? Love the soul in that jazz!
It’s called Chances by Silent Partner 🎷 🎶
Vandalia-Farber, Bowling Green, Clarksville, Elsberry, Troy, Wellsville, Montgomery City, Warrenton. The old great EMO basketball conference were all left out. Good people in towns with character and history. Thanks for the stroll through the state of my birth.
Sorry bout that Roger I haven’t been to any of those places. Bowling Green and Clarksville are on my list of towns I’d like to see (as well as Louisiana) but I will look into the others you’ve mentioned as well. Thanks for stopping by!
CQ CQ Great trailer! I'm please ham radio is shown!
Thank you! Which town is that in?
Oh, I so loved Hannibal, and they had an outdoor evening show with river scene, river boat & more, fun actors.. a ways South of town off the highway..(Wonder if still do) Want to do a trip that way soon.. A mining cave nearby also, I think.. LOL..Wife wants the chicken at 4:06..
Thanx for sharing this one ! ( Just saw the Arch, on our trip to Wash., DC few weeks ago!
By way; You have one of oldest ( if not oldest ) ACTIVE companies in the entire U.S. !
Schaeffer Oil&Grease Manufacturing Co., St. Louis, MO. if did not know... Check out
their History..Is amazing !
Thanks so much for your comment! Hannibal is great I went on the river boat while I was there. I didn’t know about the Schaeffer Oil & Grease Manufactory Co. that’s really interesting! I’m hoping to visit St. Louis again this year and explore it a bit more. Have a nice Sunday :)
Yes, Schaeffer Mfg. was one of first in St.Louis, ( Older than Anheuser Busch ) The President, Nicholas Schaeffer, would hunt Wild Game out the windows, back in 1839 when they started !!! LOL..St,.Louis, Wild Life .. Hard to imagine. A splendid Sunday to you !
You should visit Newtown. It’s very close to some you had mentioned!!!!
Thanks for the suggestion I will keep that in mind!
That's a lot of towns!!!!
I am surprised at how many of those towns and villis that you showed that I have actually been in , either because of work or hunting with my father- in-law or cousin . Some because while on the road , they have great home cooking at the only place in town or like at Laredo Mo. the post office/ general store . Safe travels .
Are there any towns left in MO? :D Nice job doing all the travels!
Thanks George! Don’t even get me started on how many towns there are here 😂
There is a lot of towns left ;-;
I used to live in a town but now it's become a city somehow
Theres a town called gareld rosebud and owensville
Buffalo
Funny, I come from Missouri. I've lived out of the country for over 30 years, but I know the state very well. Most of these places I've never heard of. Must be more Kansas City oriented, because I do know more about eastern & southern Missouri than I do western & northern. I actually graduated from high school in Gallatin.....but not the Missouri town, the one in Tennessee. Glad Perryville was included (St. Gen, too)....
Honestly I had never heard of many of these places either lol. Seems like I’m always finding new towns every time I look at the map. Yes most of these places are to the west. I’d like to do more filming in eastern Missouri in the future though especially the towns around St. Louis. Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment!
Most of these are south eastern compared to kc
Mansfield yeah!
Thank you Joseph Smith!
I love this! In Osceola they show the rat. Osceola is my birthplace and I live a mile from where I was born.
I love Osceola cheese haha. Thanks for watching! 🧀
Here from Adrian Michigan
Greetings from Missouri!
Pretty much left out all of Southeast Missouri except for Perryville, Pocahontas, and New Madrid. Where was Cape Girardeau?
Maybe I will include Cape Giradeau in Part 2. I did spend a little time there but didn’t get many photos of the actual town.

Yeah What about Conway?
You need to include Brunswick, MO and the worlds largest Pecan!
That’s a good idea thanks for the suggestion. I may do a part 2 one day. I have been to Brunswick although the video is pretty old ruclips.net/video/4tgCMR2fHK8/видео.html
You need a Part II
A part 2 is in the works! I still have a ways to go but I haven’t decided if I want to make it 200 towns or 250. I’m currently at 120. Are there any towns in particular you would like to see?
I live in Dixon, MO...greatest place on earth to live!
Thanks for watching and I bet it is a nice town. Never been there but I see it’s fairly close to the Mark Twain National Forest.

Princeton MO, was the photo taken of Clamity Jane days??
No but that sounds fun! Thanks for watching :)
Not as much as it use to be. They had an overnight trail ride. I'm not a drinker, those drunks put on a great show. Money could not buy.
No Bolivar?? And you were so close! I was hoping you would include Tightwad and there it was.
I know lol I’ve passed by Bolivar so many times but have never been there. It’s definitely on my list of towns I want to film though. Thanks for stopping by!
@@kcvids816 I live in Bolivar, if you like Mexican food I highly recommend Tres Amigos. Dunnigan Memorial park is beautiful, especially in the spring. I would love to see it from an outsider's eyes.

I know about half of the Missouri cities/towns you listed
Man, I still haven’t learn how to edit like this!
It’s pretty easy on iMovie
inion would be a good one to add just south of wasington
That’s a good idea. I’ve noticed it on the map but haven’t been there so far. Thanks for the suggestion!
I'm surprised kennett Missouri isn't on here it's the home town of famous country singers Sheryl Crow and David Nail.
Plus my little town of Holcomb Missouri wasn't on here but still it was an amazing video
Thank you very much! I really haven’t done too much filming in the boot heel region. The closest I’ve been is New Madrid. I’ll keep those towns in mind if I’m ever back near that area :)
He did New Madrid but skipped Sikeston home home Lamberts and the Sikeston Jaycee Bootheel Rodeo
like music .
Glad you enjoyed it thank you!
Greetings from Pike County
Thanks Mark sorry I didn’t get a chance to include any towns from your county in this video. One day I’d like to visit Bowling Green, Louisiana, and Clarksville. Greetings from Jackson County! :)
What about Anderson, MO?
Never been to Anderson, maybe some day.
Anything from dent county?

Didn't see Sikeston in there anywhere.

Was born in Pattonsburg, Missouri the REAL town not the new, fake one, they've built on higher ground.
I did clearly recognize the old jail in Gallatin, some other places as well.
Had a nephew born in a doctor's building/office in Jamesport...
Interesting...
Thank you for watching. I’ve been wanting to visit Pattonsburg!
@@kcvids816 If you ever get there, for what difference it may not make, the old funeral home is still standing. Across the street is an old methodist church building.
On the west side of the old funeral home, left hand side facing it, there used to stand a 2 story house which was once a duplex. I was born in that house. My Grandparents later bought it and turned it into one big residence. I believe that was 3rd street.
On the northeast end of town there was also a house that my Mother was born in. That house, that street, no longer exists.
If I remember correctly the population "topped out" between 5 & 600 people when it was "in full bloom" one might say. I be not absolutley sure on that.
It is strange to go back there knowing what was and seeing what is...
Thanks for the info. That’s very interesting and also sad how much of the old town has been lost. It’s been awhile since I’ve researched it but wasn’t it hit by a flood? I’ve passed by Pattonsburg so many times on my travels but never taken the time to stop. Next time I’ll be sure to take the extra few minutes!
@@kcvids816 Yes, a flood.
I was small but I do remember a flood in the early 70's also. The town survived that.
I'd guess there'd been talk and maybe a vote concerning moving the town to higher ground quite awhile before me, I was born in 1968, but the citizens decided not to move it. I'd have to think more on that.
I believe it was a flood in 1993 that took the town. There were people that stayed.
I remember visiting my Grandmother afterward in the midst of cleaning the house she was renting at that time, after the flood. She had moved out of the house my Grandfather had remodeled, that I'd been born in.
There were some old houses that were salvageable which they moved to the "new town" on higher ground. I've been through there a few times but it's been a few years.
As you will see, if you ever stop through, there are some "diehards" there that still reside in that flood plain.
Where is Branson? The best town.
I’ve done a few videos in Branson maybe I’ll include it when I make a part 2.
