When I was there I picked up 22 pallets of sugar, full trailer load. I think they even ran trains in there on railroad tracks, or at least they did years ago, quite impressive inside.

I can give you some serious history on JCT. Ran with them early 90's before elogs and lease purchase.
JCT was a horrible company bcos you didn't know better. You're designed to struggle and wipeout with lease purchase. Trucks maintenance is the biggest issue compare to trailers. Your maintenance fund will deplete quick as you tried to build one. Kiss your dispatchers ass for the crap. That's when they compensate with the good. Time off is to punish you. Wheels not turning
You're not earning. Nor is the company with your truck. I can drag this shit out for a week. Stay away from lease purchase companies. Buy you a truck with cash or finance thru a bank. It's a suicide mission. Only a few will survive the gauntlet. Guarantee everyone paid a hefty price ( no paychecks) to own that truck.

I'm a retired Truck driver. I've been in many caves. Some are easy, most are not. They were built before 53' trailers and it can be a challenge to get a 53 foot trailer in a dock built for a 48 foot trailer. But we do what they say can't be done. Just like the song for Smokey and the Bandits 😂. To the Drivers still out there. THANK YOU, for what you do.

Seems like the perfect place and cover for a military bunker. It's well-fortified, lots of semi-trailers bringing in TONS of everything you might need in an emergency and it looks like it runs much deeper than the semi-trailers and truckers have access.
    Interesting 🤔
On a different note, it looks like the base for a Bond villain from the Connery/Moore era.

@@DawnieRotten Well you could always drive through the poorly guarded gate and tailgate really close to the vehicle in front of you to get through the main entrance while staff give you a dirty look that says "Fuck'n idiot didn't read the signs...".

Kraft as in the food. Why is food being made under ground. What are they doing down here.

@@Psyhohm it's not being made underground. It's used as a warehouse. Save TONs of money on refrigeration by going underground. Think they've been using the site since the 60s.

@@Psyhohm I know, 'Kraft....as in the "food" company'. I comprehend. What I'm saying is, that under ground facility is something other than a 'food warehouse'. Oh, and by the way, Kraft does NOT make FOOD! CHEMICALS are NOT food. (READ the labels.....look up the TOXIC CHEMICALS.)

There's a cave like this in Kansas City, MO also. Alot of food storage. I worked in one of the sections back in the early 80's.

40 years ago, during the nationwide running boom, I was in a 10-K run in this underground facility. It was called, "The Great Underground Fun Run." The circuit wasn't long enough for one lap, so we had to do two laps to make the difference. I remember the race leaders and everyone else being shocked that they all beat their personal best times. People thought the caverns had something to do with it. But they soon realized the people who laid out the course made it too short. Some people were upset about that, but most remembered it was advertised as a FUN RUN, and wasn't a certified or sanctioned event. And running underground WAS fun. I still remember it clearly from 40 years ago. :-)
