Follow up to using the Lee bullet feeder magazine with a sizing die on a C press

In a previous video (linked below) I discovered a couple of problems with using Lee's multi-tube magzine for the inline bullet feeder dies, when used with a bullet sizing die. Here are a couple of workarounds to those issues.

Yep, Remeber the guys that gave it all for us. Ive been watching some WW2 Documentaries and pushing lead into brass. Hope your doin well Viejo. Those new bullet feeders from lee take some adjusting. Nice the hitchpin idea works to! I just put a nylon insert locknut on the end of mine when I had that happen on my Lee 6pk pro. I wondered why lee installed and threaded that plastic bolt and didn't give us a nut tho. 🤔 I kinda like your fix better I think tho . 😊

That was exactly what I was picturing, so much so that I laughed outloud 😂, I couldn't remember what those pins were called but you knew (hitch pin) You upped it by adding a sacrificial bolt. I'm a hammer head, I would have just drilled the plastic lol.

Hiya, Six. That might work if there is no “tight” bullet in the sizer making it too hard to push up. If not, the skinny straw should allow you twist the magazine until it comes in contact with the straw, and then you could just pull it out. I’ll try that. Good idea. 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸

Hi James. I hope you’re doing well. The bolt/pin concept came from TreeTop Flier, and it works. Lee should have foreseen these issues though, and provided for them! 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸

Hi Gene. The magazine itself works just fine with Lee’s feeder die. Getting it filled in this manner with cast bullets on a C or O press is definitely weird. It works much better with the APP as we will see. With non-cast bullets, one still has to hand-fill the tubes. Mr. Bulletfeeder from Double Alpha has better, though more expensive, solutions for sure! 🤛🏻🔫🇺🇸
