heat the plastic tube slightly and shove it on. then it will hold 450 small primers. but when you don't pay attention and jam it up, you use a empty plastic water bottle with a small hole in the bottom and shove a straight coat hanger up to clear the jam. and all the primers fall into the bottle. once you clean out mess, maybe a little brake cleaner. use a 3/8" allen wrench to back off the expander screw which will close shaft and allow you to reassemble. I am also a lee 6 pack owner for 4 weeks and have loaded 6,000 9mm rounds. I have had a couple issues, but they have been fixed with a little thought.

I have 2, 1 for pistol and 1 for rifles. No real complaints aside from the last 3̀-4 primers that won't slide that I have to pick.
But this guy shouldn't be reloading.

How'd you let it get so backed up with spent primers?

First Cuss much, second that got nothing to do with the lee 6000 that you sticking way way to much lube on cases more not always better. I run around 5000 rounds threw my lee 6000 from 223,9mm,38 spl 350 legend and not a issue my rifle brass I do before it runs threw press I use universal decapper than resize than threw tumbler after check length etc. Than into press to finish . Lee die set just happen to come with press there not actual a part of the press. So I understand your frustrated but it not a fatal flaw with press

It's not the loader ... you do not need to be reloading... you have no patience to do it right as you go ... you gonna blow yourself up ... just go buy a box and relax or you gonna give yourself a heart attack

I think you had unrealistic expectations, poor technique, lack of patients. This press wasn’t designed to match the output of a $3000 Dillion or apex. It’s never going to do 1000rds and hour. It’s meant for the weekend warrior that shoots 1000rds a month and just enjoy some casual reloading. I’ve reloaded 10000 rounds on this press and other than some minor set up issues it runs great. If you break a press then you forced something instead of stopping and figuring out why things are jammed up. Slow is smooth and smooth is fast. With case lube less is more. You can actually get a hydraulic lock with too much and rip a case head off. I still like using a pad and RCBS case lube as I get a much better feel of how much is on the case.

Just blow some compressed air in and confetti cannon them primers out.
As for the primer catch tube I cut down a 12g hull and roll crimped it to fit in between the linkage to hold more primers. I agree that Lee has made some real boneheaded decisions over the last few years.

Let’s see how many times we can say “bro” & “fuck” in a single video! P.S. - it’s not the press & the engineering is very sound.

You quite obviously don't have the knowledge or patience for reloading. So many mistakes on your part.
    Just buy your factory ammo.
    Good luck to you.
