I found myself in a match the other day in an Italian R3. A KV-2 close by was stopping our team progress. Knowing I could not face him, I remembered your tip and disabled his turret. Was a sweet feeling knowing he was out of action and it allowed my team to flank and finish him.
Nice, great job! I am happy my tips helped you. And as you said, even if you only can assist at taking out an enemy it is a great feeling to help the team and in the end maybe even win the match. Sometimes such a strong opponent can block the whole team and a little assist like yours turns the whole match and was crucial for the victory.
You are right, that is also a good tip. I haven't bind that setting. Because I am used to do it the other way. But maybe this is an improvement. Where can I find this setting?
For those curious, you can search for 'sight' in the controls, as in gun sight. This is the control to bind. (Nagging tip: Test drive a vehicle whenever you set up new controls, rather than jumping straight into a battle. You'd rather not be messing around with controls you messed up on the front line.)

You could also set the gun range in advance, then aim on the target with the binoculars. A little more accurate.

@@McKonggaming I can't remember exactly, I'll email you when I find it.
