I need to replace the catalytic converter on my Mini Cooper Countryman 2015, base model, not Sport. What would you recommend as an upgrade? And can I just replace the catalytic converter and not the whole exhaust manifold; perhaps welding might be involved?
The cat in the down pipe is here: new.minimania.com/part/G2NME5300-P/Mini-Cooper-Catalytic-Converter-Downpipe-Gen2-Oem-R55-r61 However, you lost a cat on a two year old car? That should be covered under warranty!
Cindy King No, but I can recommended either Quicksilver, Remus, or Borla: new.minimania.com/ssnm/ENGINE-TRANS_NM/SearchText/ENGINE-TRANS_NM,EXHAUSTS_NM
do you know any good exhaust (full or cat back) for a 2009 clubman? it has a single pipe and everything i find is dual exhaust or meant for the turbo on the s model which i dont have- i have the base model no turbo
Is it ok to delete the resonator for better sound or even delete the second cat? Or is that something that would cause a check engine like i have a countryman s as well and i was looking at your exhaust online but now that i heared it sounds good but i want it a little nit more louder and more aggressive sound..what do u guys recommend..because the o2 sensor is before the cat..it shouldnt be problem right or am i wrong..
As long as you're not removing the O2 sensor you won't get a check engine light but it may be illegal to remove the cat and might fail a visual inspection. Check your local smog regulations.
Well, this guy deleted both: ruclips.net/video/c4Oh9R7ofFM/видео.html ... I suppose you could do just the resonator, though - it would only be slightly throatier that way.
Dude!!! Thanks for posting the vid. I just ordered my 14' CM R60 and this exhaust is a must have upgrade.
That sounds pretty sweet! Does the new exhaust add any HP at all?
Does it pop more in sport mode?
Can you provide a part number for that exhaust cat back?
What about interior wise, does this one make the cabin any louder?
It may be slightly louder in the cabin but not to the point distraction.

Would you recommend a Magnaflow Catback System for a 2013 MINI Cooper S Clubman?

There isn't much of an aftermarket for the non-turbo cars, I'm afraid. An OEM replacement is probably all you are going to find.
does this delete the resonator or the 2nd cat?
Only the rear mufflers. Everything else is left in place.
Yes, a bit. NM Engineering estimates a 12-15Hp gain!

..and now you have a dented heat shield... wow, imagine how dented when not being filmed? :-)
Definitely louder, but not so loud it's annoying.
