- In this video we install the G2NME2024 exhaust system from Mini Mania. It is made by Quicksilver in the UK and it is a bolt on system providing a slight increase in Hp and a truly magnificent sound! To order your Quicksilver exhaust from Mini Mania follow the link below.
NOTE: FOR CUSTOMERS IN CALIFORNIA IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT THE SECONDARY CATALYTIC CONVERTER BE MAINTAINED RATHER THAN REMOVED AS IS DONE IN THIS INSTALLATION.

Sounds so damn good
do you lose the stock exhaust's pop and burble with throttle lift off?
Excellent. I love this video.
Can I put a R56 S exhaust into a R56 Cooper D? (I know about the spare tire and about the rear bumper.) thank you.
Is there an established torque spec for the clamp that connects the pipe to the manifold at the front? If so, please reply.
The V-band clamp that connects the downpipe to the exhaust is 25Nm (18.4 ft lbs).
That was nice
Hello. I have a 2012 Mini Clubman non turbo. Is there a good after market exhaust system that is CA compliant you would recommend? most systems I have seen are for the S model. My car is a manual transmission and really fun to drive. However, it could use a little more bark. Thanks!
Not that we carry, at any rate. There really is little to no aftermarket for the non-turbo models, sorry.
A bit too subjective a question, I'm afraid. If you like the sound of the stock exhaust you should keep it. It you'd like a bit more power and you like the sound of this exhaust do the swap. We think the Quicksilver has a much sportier sound.
Can anyone help me figure something out? I drive a 2017 mini and I was looking at getting a new exhaust system but I don’t know where to look for a good quality one. I also would like to get one best suited for my car.
Assuming it's a 2-door Cooper S there's this quicksilver cat back system: new.minimania.com/part/G3NME2020/
If a different model, set your car type and search for exhaust.
what about check engine light when you remove the cat?
+aldi muka Unless you're removing the primary cat, which we're not, there's no issue with CEL's because the O2 sensors are not removed. We don't recommend removing the Secondary on California cars, however, because this is a violation of Smog rules (as the text overlay in the video states). As smog rules vary from state to state, you'll want to check your local regs. We were simply testing the system without the secondary Cat for testing purposes only.
+Mini Mania awesome , thank you for the info, i actually didnt touch the secondary cat , was afraid of the check engine light , but now im probably gonna go ahead and remove it, by the way any difference in sound ? if i do remove the secondary?
Secondary cat?? Do you mean the resonator?
the Brits call this being a donut
