This video is NOT sponsored by Temu .. I don't know if I made that clear enough in the video, so I wanted to write a comment about it! As I mentioned YES they have reached out to me on multiple occasions to sponsor a video. But I denied the sponsorship proposals so I could do an unsponsored video for you all, so we could get to the bottom of everything! I don't accept sponsorships if I don't personally use the products or service or believe in the brand, and I will always disclose in videos if they are in fact sponsored! So please enjoy this unsponsored haul & review! :D
THANK YOU FOR THE CROCHET PSA!!! It’s so frustrating when people tell me I’m overpricing my crocheted items when I have to make every single stitch by hand. It takes so much time to make things, and to make them with quality yarn and sturdy costs money. I appreciate you saying what you did🥰🥰🥰
I bought a crocheted strawberry sweater for $180 Best money I’ve ever spent The detail and energy that goes into crocheting is amazing I completely understand why a lot of the items are priced so high.
This is exactly the reason I don’t sell items, people don’t seem to have any idea how clothing is made, let alone something that can only be made by hand.
Note on the cat printer- it's interesting that it calls itself a photo printer. Based on the quality of the photos and no color, I believe this is actually a receipt printer made to look cute
Its a thermal printer so it doesn’t use color, and ive wanted one for a while, especially if you buy the sticker paper rolls! thermal printers are usually used for receipts, but ive seen people use them for journaling and scrapbooking, and they have higher quality ones that make the images actually clear (images like selfies) for black and white concepts and the sticker backing on the sticker rolls are really useful from what ive seen! :)
Temu is what we wanted Wish to be. I have purchased a bunch of garden stuff and miniature figures for crafting and have been 100% satisfied. Definitely going to buy that little vacuum to use at work.
@ Jessica Å Honestly, nearly every brand these days is untrustworthy in that department, even the high end expensive designer brands. It’s not much different from shopping at any mainstream store, whether that’s Walmart, Target or high end department stores. Some companies/brands just make more of a personal profit than others depending on how much they hike up the price. And with the cost of living constantly on the rise, sites like Temu are inevitable. It’s a really unfortunate cycle of consumption and consumerism that has been around for a very long time, and likely always will.
That's the point of influencers. They want you to trust them. The flashy makeup, flexing cars and money may be out of trend now, but it's just been replaced by "honest" and "raw" influencers. Nothing against this woman specfially, I don't even know who she is, but influencers are still influencers.
As a scandinavian, I've gotta tell you, cold therapy is 100% for you BECAUSE you're feeling cold. The cold exposure gets your blood flowing to your skin and will make you feel less cold when you're done :) no one likes it in the beginning, but everyone gets hooked for a reason
Made in America with Norwegian and Swedish parts. I 200% agree. My Farmor taught me to rinse with ice water every morning. I still do it. And then Nivea. Soooo much Nivea
I hate being cold and it makes me angry when I'm cold. Tried "cold therapy" and I raged every time. (I also used to live in a cold climate and hated 8 months out of the year.)
I ordered a purse from Temu and it looked just like the picture and it was great, but . . . the zipper broke the first day. So, I contacted Temu and they asked me to send a picture of the purse. I did and within minutes they refunded my money and told me to donate or toss the purse. They had all the proof they needed. That is a good company. Maybe my purse was defective and might have been the only one that broke, I don't know but I still order from them and I am very happy with everything I've purchased so far.
Lol.... chances are, you're 100000000% supporting sweatshop factories employing children, and paying them pennies/hr.... just to provide cheaper prices, and buy good reviews.. .
@@AhhhSukeSuke the only country having actual child labor is the USA, with its government just announced over 800 companies have been newly found using child labour.
@@JetAgeOfJR i can tell you're a child but for everyones sake i only hope you dont ever have to spend your life working it away getting paid not even enough to buy yourself dinner that night, nevermind if you have kids. (which, if you did, they'd probably be working too, constantly,) you'd only be doing to survive, you're surviving to work, and working to survive. and then let's hope some random 14 year old doesnt come make light of your situation by saying "nah the boys working hard FOR ME". because they're not. they're working hard because they have to to stay alive, to keep their kids alive, etc. show a little bit of empathy.
As a crocheter, THANK YOU 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏I can not tell you how many times I've been told I'm "ripping people off" and "my prices are too highe" like one yarn is NOT cheap especially if your getting quality yarn aka not red heart and two it's taken years to master and it takes hours on hours on hours to make a project even one that seems small, especially if your talking amiggurumi (stuffies).
I am a certified master knitter and I am always told that I am charging to much. You get the I can buy it for $15 at the store. Then please go ahead. Cause the yarn costs more then that.
Its not too expensive, it's just out of people's price range and that's okay! But seriously people complaining that hand made small business items are too expensive can just shut up
even if yarn doesnt cost too much, its a skill you are charging for. if they want it that cheap they can make it themselves. its your thing, your price. dont feel any way about it
I love it when youtubers do honest reviews because some of them don’t even mention that they are being sponsored & act like 100% satisfied with the pieces they got. Mia’s videos are always authentic & watchable ❤️
@@julieme7927 That is true, and yet creators still get around it. There's plenty of examples of creators saying they weren't sponsored when in fact it was gifted or they've previously been affiliated with them. There's lots of loopholes. And even then, people don't always follow rules. Either way, Mia is always transparent and that's great.
@@thespankmyfrank Don't know where you're seeing that at, but it's very common for RUclipsrs to talk about their sponsors, they never go under the radar, unless it's annoying makeup youtubers.
@@thespankmyfrank there's a difference between receiving PR (which they don't have to even review - never mind wax lyrical) and a paid sponsorship where brands give points that they want covered in a video and have to approve the video before it gets uploaded. Sponsorships have to be disclosed. PR doesn't because there are no strings attached.
My first experience with Temu was positive. I ordered mostly diamond painting kits and a dress. Same thing with the dress - no tag at the neck, which is actually kind of nice. I just put a second order in last night for a bunch of other stuff so we'll see if it was just a "good first impression" thing or not.
@@edits_betterthanrevenge I've since ordered a few more times and all were positive experiences. Knock on wood, but I think this one may be legit. Insofar as bargain basement shipping can be, that is. 😊
I am in a business logistics class and we discussed Temu and their platform . It is owned by a parent company based out of china that is very popular and it works the same way that amazon does bringing sellers to put their products its platform.

@@victimplayer its not racist, most chinese made products are cheap quality because they're made with cheap labor and unethical practices. I have ordered from Temu so many times already, but I find it’s kind of like when I go to the dollar store. I end up getting a bunch of junk I don’t need. I’m kind of glad there’s now a minimum free shipping cost because it keeps me slightly more in check.
🤦♀️ You are supporting slave labor and giving your data and credit card info the the Chinese gov 🤦♀️ Mia is wrong.. I swear I responded to this already but now I don't see my comment. Maybe it's because I mentioned a certain country by name, which is always a good way to get a comment disappeared (yay, YT has been infiltrated, yay, not). Or because I mentioned the online stores this video talks about. Anyway be aware that almost everything in the dollar store is made in the same place I apparently can't mention by name, so you're basically buying the same stuff there that you get from the stores I apparently can't mention by name.
@@blaqbabydoll244 Yes but if the content of your post is negative towards that particular country, it tends to disappear. For example, I find that simply advising people not to buy anything made in will usually result in my comment disappearing for everyone except me, and it's immediate, so nobody has had time to find it with some kind of search and report it. These days I check all of my posts and replies in an incognito window because half of the time they disappear there. It's not just about that country, there's lots of other stuff you can do without knowing it's a problem like telling someone to for something, because that triggers the spam/phishing filter, because those people realized that posting links didn't work anymore so they had to get you there some other way. The filters are very heavy-handed and you aren't notified, so if you don't do this, a lot of what what you might think is just innocent or even helpful conversation with others can be lost from the get-go.
As a crochet artist just staring, I can't explain in words how happy I am you explained that. I've seen people telling me, "That's a nice sweater but since it isn't professional quality it would only be worth $15-20." It is soooo infuriating since I work on that for days stitch by stitch and based on the quality of the yarn, is could cost up to $30 just for the yarn. It doesn't even include the labor cost. I get that maybe because of the fact that it could have MINOR flaws would decrease the price but not that much. (ok i see there is a flaw in my wording here, I’m talking about small imperfections you can’t see unless u inspect it for a while. I get if the price would decrease a lot because of viable imperfections that are seen when u first look at it) People also say this because of my lack of experience but they don’t look at my capabilities. They think just because I started recently means I’m not as good as someone else with more experience. Thank you so much for explaining this it warmed my heart. 😊
@@alexbennet4195 what I mean by that is if you look at it closely, you might see that the stich is a bit loose compared to the ones next to it but it isn’t posible to seem the mistakes unless you look for it. And by “professional quality” I mean that I have been told that just because I don’t have as much as experience as others I should charge way less for something of the same level of quality. If it had rips or clearly visible imperfections i would definitely agree with you that it would be worth less.
Saying I should decrease the price of something because if you look close enough you can see the yarn end I weaved in is like saying a store should decrease the price of shirt because you can see one tiny thread sticking out of it in the back when you look close enough.
Yes If you pay $30 for materials and it takes 3 hours to make it should be $60-$70+ never work for under minimum wage. Don't be taken advantage Of just because your not " professional"
People really don’t know just how magical crochet items can be. My mom is an awesome crocheter and she one day made a sweet baby blanket for one of our neighbors for free. They just had a baby and she wanted to give them something, and nothing beats homemade items, ya know? She didn’t know this woman, just knew the struggle of a first time mom. The mother CRIED because she had never been gifted something like it before. With how good my mother is, that mother and now teenager probably still have that little blanket-I still have mine! 😂
I'm a huge Christmas person, it's also my birthday. I had my late grandma's antique ornaments, my aunt's cloth lollipops- just a variety- each had a story to tell. My heart was broken when all of my ornaments were lost in a divorce. I didn't realize they were mixed in with his stuff in a storage unit he stopped paying on- I'm sure it was deliberate, because- how? I know he took them just to be cruel. My friends got together & gave me an ornament party, when each person contributes it's affordable and so sentimental. My absolute favorite was a set of a dozen crochet ornaments a friend's grandmother lovingly crochet herself. They were precious, some were starched stiff, others flexible. One had a foam ball made like a hot air balloon with a teeny Santa, they just had the sweetest vintage look with details like gold thread, ribbon, ruby stones, tiny bells- the amount of time and detail she lovingy put into each ornament was overwhelming, truly priceless- I was sobbing! Things like that you have for a lifetime and pass on to your children!
I love Temu! The only thing I would suggest is you are getting what you pay for. If you pay $2 for an item, then expect a $2 item. There are so many things on the app. It’s fun. I haven’t had any trouble with shipping. A positive experience all around

I love how consciously you speak, saying “really affordable” sweats instead of “cheap” or something else that might make someone feel badly if that’s what they can afford, Mia is always so aware & it’s an amazing quality ❤
Keep in mind that cheap doesn’t have the same connotations for everyone, too. Some people hear that and feel there is an insult but others hear it purely as a synonym for affordable so if someone is saying cheap they may not be intending to speaking insensitively
I'm honestly shocked any of these, let alone all to varying degrees, worked! For the "penguin" (looks like a goofy duck to me) in the guest bathroom, I'd say make a cute little sign to go beside the soap dispenser so you won't have to remember to explain how to use it. For example, "Pat the penguin to ask for some soap, and place your hand under his beak to receive it. Then, pat him again to say thank you!"
As someone who grew up in China, don't buy anything plastic from them, especially what you gonna use for your face (like that first thingy) or especially if you are gonna drink from it online. Temu/Wish/Shein get their stuff from non varified, non safe sources and factories, I never ever, and most chinese I know, buy cheap plastic crap like that, we all know it contains a shit ton of hazardous stuff which noone cares about in China. Everyone try to get Japanese/US- germany approved safe stuff there, cause chinese factories have soooooo many violations on everything. Ppl are expandable there, gvt really couldn't care less.
I’ve bought quite a few things from Temu for me and my mom and we haven’t had any issues. Of course I don’t expect everything to be the best quality because of how cheap it is but it’s great stuff for their price. I was introduced to the app by a friend who did all her Christmas shopping on there and loved everything. I was hesitant at first also.

This was fun. I love mixed hauls, there is such a grouping of the practical, the cute and the weird. Talking about weird: NEVER put a block of ice directly on your face. Loving the doll house series btw. I do wish (semi-ironically) that these doll house renos were bigger and longer videos? Argh tried for a pun and epic failed.

Thank you so so much for making this video because I have been getting an ass load of ads about Temu recently and they genuinely make it seem like their products are dirt cheap yet still quality, glad to know I have someone who did the research for me before putting my money into it lmao
DO NOT buy from them unless u support slave labor and genocide! Mia is misinformed- TEMU is a Chinese company based in China! The way you structured this video was excellent. So many youtubers sugary coat ethical standards and I love that you stood your ground and are allowing others to make their own judgments and choices
I ordered sandals, dresses, sewing supplies and some office supplies and I have to say all 19 items purchased are exactly what I ordered. The dresses are beautiful and the sizes were accurate. I got so many compliments on my outfits and many of them I paid $1.98. My order came in 5 days and I ordered the wrong size on one pair of sandals and the return process was super easy. You always have to be careful with these sites but my experience was 5 ⭐️!
Thank you as a crocheter from the bottom of my crocheting ❤ some people have no idea how long it takes to make crochet items and what yarn costs. Thank you for this video and all of the hard work you put in for us!!!❤
What I love about your content is the fact that you are very thoughtful in the things you say and decide to share with us. It makes me feel good that there are people reviewing inexpensive fashion and other products. I also love that you don't yell at me and are not over the top. As someone who watches youtube to relax your chill vibes are perfect lol.
I recently just made a couple purchases from Temu. Both orders were around $100. The one item I bought was a 1:12 scale makeup holder with legs for my dollhouse. Although it was really cute, one of the legs broke and the others when you pushed them in the bottom to hold it up; it made it stand weird and off kilter. I asked if I could just get replacement legs for it and they automatically gave me a refund and told me to donate or throw. I was able to glue the legs just right and fixed it and it looks so adorable. So far everything I have purchased, has been great or has worked for what I have needed it for. Will definitely be purchasing from them again because the prices were also great!
I’ve order from them before, I order a shower curtain, curtain hooks, a plant spray bottle, and some slides. The slides were too big so I was going to return them, but they said I didn’t have to return them and to donate them, and they gave me my full refund. Positive with my order.
@@lilmissmonsterrr same here I’ve ordered twice now everything shows up within a week and it’s always great quality and if I needed a refund they gave me a full refund

I’ve been using Temu for crafting supplies and I think they’re worth it. Only thing is I wouldn’t bulk purchase fragile things like acrylic display cases some containers, etc bc they don’t always package them securely and I ended up with many cracked/ broken pieces. Other than that, recommend trying to purchase the crafting supplies like crystal beads, chains, crafting glue, etc
Thank you for making this video, I'm being spammed with ads from Temu everywhere. One thing that I think is important to keep in mind is that it's not just about how good the quality of the items is when you first get them - but if they stay good after some time. A lot of the more cheaply-made things don't last or they fall apart or stop working after a short while. Also I always feel like in order to sell items so cheaply there must be some kind of unethical treatment of workers along the line...
I’ve actually done several TEMU hauls on my channel. So far I’ve found them to be excellent for the price, quality, and always free shipping. Bonus- they just started shipping to Canada this month (February 2023). I’m a super small channel so I’ve stuck to items $3 and under. Thanks for showing a greater range in pricing.

That penguin soap dispenser is so cute! I was dying laughing as he would randomly squirt soap some times and not squirt soap other times especially when you wanted him to squirt soap 😂😂. Yeah a bit temperamental but very cute. Also nice surprise that he is rechargeable.
The thing with negative reviews to always keep in mind, is that most people are a lot more likely to complain than to praise. Thanks for this video, Mia! They are upping their ads EVERYWHERE, and I've been curious if they're just another fail like Wish. Never again, Wish. Never. Again.
Exactly!! Ugh I have a friend who ALWAYS searches up reviews for every little thing, and she ALWAYS manages to find negative ones and talk herself out of buying the product/service. But a LOT of the time it's stuff that would've been a very decent option and she just let herself be dissuaded by salty internet reviews.
I love knowing I can come to youth page for the best reviews! Plus, I'm Canadian also, so I understand the shipping issues! ❤🎉 Keep doing your thing, I love ya!
You still have to be careful even if it does say "Direct from 'x' company". Temu has Anker products that says "direct from" but when I checked with Anker, they said that temu was not one if their authorized sellers
Mia you just saved me legit hours.... I was so close to ordering... WHY DONT THEY SHIP TO CANADA!!!! Also, thank you for the crochet promotion... people be rolling around wanting King sized blankets for 20$.... So much wool and time
Thank you for doing this review. I have ordered from Canada to my home in Canada and also while I am in the US having items delivered to my US address. I would say that I have been satisfied completely about 95% of the time. Their customer service is excellent. Just as one example, I had an order go missing after it had arrived in Toronto airport. I contacted customer service and they eventually refunded my entire purchase price along with giving me five dollars credit because of the late arrival. The service agent told me that if the package ever arrived just to keep it with their compliments. It arrived the next day.
I'm legit OBSESSED with Temu! I got all my stuff in less than 10 days and everything was just like shown. I had no issues. I LOVE the no shipping cost. ❤️
My experience is that when the Chinese companies such as Shein and its clones get positive reviews, they are written by people hired to write positive reviews.
you get pretty good quality for the price tbh. everything i bought on shein is extremely affordable and trendy while the irl stores in my country only have old women clothes. used some pieces 20 times and it's still like new, so idk why it's so unfathomable that someone could like it
it's true from my experience that the companies encourage you to write reviews as fast as you can or as many as you can. I can say that shein offers points (which can be used for discounts) and when people buy a lot of things they just want to get the reviews done with and will write some simple comment like "very good love it so much" which is not very helpful. The products are usually what you pay for and some reviews are legit so keep an eye out for those
I have actually learned a lot about stick on nails recently. I have been using them rather than painting. I found that putting them on the day before means that you have time to ensure that any that are going to fall off are glued back on (they often stay on the 2nd time much better). Also by trimming them pretty short (if you don’t like them too long) they stay on like a week because the long length makes it easier to ping off.
this is so true. Also use the nail glue not the sticker type. The first time using might actually fall off after a while, but the 2nd time wearing it, it lasts longer. I do all house chores and often wash my hands and dishes but my fake nails stays for atleast 3days
My mum in law is an AMAZING crocheter and she sells toys, hats blankets ect at markets for WAY TOO CHEAP... I said she's worth way more (especially with her quality!) but she said, if she sold them for more, no one would buy them :(
I sew clothes and bags, and so many people said I should open my own store (or at least take custom orders) and the thing is, each item would have to be at least $50 to cover my costs at minimum hourly wage. Most people don't want that as you can go to the mall and get things instantly that are often cheaper (ex, would you pay $100 for a pair of pants that the mall sells for $40?). The only real draw would be the fact that colours and sizing would be custom, and for people like me who have odd proportions, custom sizing is great, but I sew because I know I can't afford to get people to make my stuff. I tend to undersell my time (charging below minimum hourly wage) just to be able to get people to buy things. Lately I haven't been doing much since I'm terrible at the marketing side and have chronic pain that makes it more difficult.
I mean she’s being smart keep the prices simple and then when business starts booming gradually increase the cost of items + it’s nice to give to those who can’t afford some crochet I’ve knitted a scarf that took me the whole pandemic to make and gave it to a mom so she could give it to her kid for free:)
The penguin could be such a possessed but innocent prop in a horror movie...😄 Even better as a tiny doll house version so nobody suspects him. And trust me, buying things with faces won't stop with age. They will always stay cute. Just embrace it. ❤️😄
I couldn’t stop laughing during the penguin segment! The cute little face of the penguin paired with it just randomly spitting soap out when least expected as if it was possessed was pure comedy gold! 😂😂😂
As someone who wears press on nails a lot, I do find that I prefer the ones you glue on, vs the sticky pads. Both stay on pretty well. I do find if you put the glue on the fake nail and your actual nail, the fake will stay on much longer. They also feel almost weightless, when glued on. When the ones with sticky pads get older, the sticky stuff gets gummy and the stickiness sometimes catches on fabric, and your nails will look dirty (at least in my experience). I wear fake nails because I like the sensation of having long nails, but I’m a nail biter and these help prevent that, while also allowing my nails to grow. I can also try different nail art or colors on top to change up the look. I think the key to making any of these last long, is to take care of your nails in between usage (I use the nail oil that SimplyNailogical gives the recipe for on her channel), but also making sure you use the right size and adding glue on both sides. ❤😊
Oh, yes, I remember admiring Mia's manicures every episode before, but what I remember most was when she had each different color of nails in pastel colors, it's still my favorite design, although it's been a long time.😍😍😍
I have seen so many Temu ads and I immediately assumed they were a big scam. I was *not* expecting this video to make me want to order from them even more...but here we are. I'll be giving it a try soon, for science of course!
I had a great experience! Bought some shoes for my dog as her paw pads get extremely cracked with the snow. Took about two weeks to arrive and when they came they were a little cracked, good materials though, looked like leather which is like leather! I told temu they were cracked, sent a photo and the money was back in my acct in less than 2 days!
@@madysonoster4759 It would be so good for more companies to have excellent customer service. I just hope it isn't taken advantage of. And they have doggie stuff too? 🐶❤ (there needs to be more dog emojis)
I have ordered from them probably 15 times already and I am still obsessed! Some things are maybe not quite as expected but when you're paying 30 cents for something what do you expect. The fact that they offer free shipping and free returns and even have price adjustments is very impressive. I have been happy with 95% of the stuff I have bought on there! I thought it would be difficult to get a price adjustment but all you have to do is go to your order and click on price adjustment and if it is cheaper than when you purchase it they will automatically give you the difference credited to your account.
I’ve placed 10 orders totaling more than 100 items and everything has been pretty much as advertised. One electronic item would not charge, so I plan to return it. With most of the items, the quality was higher than expected. Shipping generally takes about a week and Temu sends messages via their app providing tracking every step of the way. This company knows what they’re doing.
Please be aware that Mia is misinformed and TEMU is a Chinese company based in China (the holdings company owns several companies including at least 1 US company- probably for the US address)... be aware you are supporting slave labor by ordering from them and have fun now that China (the gov) now has tons of info on u including your credit card, address, IP address, and whatever other data the company website obtained from you during your site visit and purchase as per Chinese law 🤣
Sus yourself. This company had over 100 million app downloads following their Super Bowl commercial. Every item I’ve received was exactly as advertised (except one broken item).
watching this while staring lovingly at my temu haul that arrived earlier today. it's pink cutesy stationery (and the desk vacuum!) as well as some uber feminine socks. everything is exactly as described and so darling!
Thank you for underlining the value of handmade work. Some people seem to not understand how much time, effort, skill, heart and love are involved in a single piece, especially if it is custom made ❤
I placed an order for crafting supplies about a week ago and will follow up here with my thoughts. I trust you Mia. Thank you for putting your credit card and experience to use!
I ordered five items from Temu and they all were surprisingly what they were represented to be on the website. I’m really curious about the mini washing machine. I bet it would be great when washing hand washables.
Did you buy it? That's what I'm wanting to get! Lol Also, it seems like a good way to 'soak' items which you can't do in these new front loaders I bought. Hate them! 😢
I’ve made three decent size orders off of Temu in the last two weeks and so far I’m super impressed. Ordering is easy peasy and multiple ways to pay. Tracking has been an A+. You get a 5$ bonus if your package doesn’t arrive in the time frame they give you. I haven’t gotten a bonus as all my stuff has arrived on time. So far everything I have ordered has been excellent quality. I’m addicted to the app. Oh and free shipping 😊 Now I must go buy some miniatures! Adorable!!
Hey Mia! I love it when you review brands because your so honest and real about it. I think you should review the skincare brand “Drunk Elephant”. I want to try it out myself but it’s a bit on the pricier side and I wanna know if it’s worth everything I’ve heard about it. Thanks for this video btw, anything I wouldn’t normally watch you make so much more interesting and exiting!
The issue with reviewing skin care brands is that she would have to use it long term and her skin is not your skin so the review isn’t going to be that helpful to the majority of her audience.
@@eyesofivy I wish more people understood this about skincare products. You have to allow at minimum 60-90 days to even start seeing consistent changes & everyone’s skin type, ethnic background, age, medications you take, vitamins you take, diet, hormones, environment they live in, daily activities, makeup etc greatly impacts the outcome of skincare. Skincare really does need to be tried personally and purchased from a place that allows returns if price is a serious concern because everyone’s so different as to how they may react to things like that.
Drunk elephant isn’t worth it. They also fall into the “it’s natural so it’s better” marketing ploy and opt out of some fine ingredients because of fear mongering
I love temu. I’ve ordered so many things from kitchen gadgets to electronics to clothing! I’ve been happy with everything especially a $2 “Apple Pencil” that actually works beautifully! My best advice is to only order things that have good reviews.
Omg the penguin soap dispenser was so hilarious 😅 mama maples pressing on the head after you said it was automatic- I love her she’s the best 😅❤ loved the video!
I have yet to have any issues with Temu, I actually like how quickly their items arrive vs ordering through Wish, which could sometimes take over a month. Temu, for me at least, has delivered my orders within 2 weeks or less, and I appreciate the pricing, especially their free shipping deals.
I tend to use them to purchase stickers and packaging for my shop, and so far they have been really fantastic. I also bought some office supplies and I haven't been disappointed yet.
The long nails comment sat with me. Every person I've seen with ridiculously long nails ironically have all been hard working ladies a mail woman and I'd see her handling these huges packages. Meanwhile i can barely function with negative nails
no one understands how feeling like a pretty bad bitch with bling on your fingertips is more motivational to do hardwork than so many other things i say it as someone with negative nails
I don't wear acrylics or other nail extensions but I grow out my natural nails and paint them with gel polish. People are still always shocked by their length and ask if I can function with them. Honestly, I am used to it. I've been growing them out since I was in the fourth grade. It really depends on the person. If you want to make long nails work, you probably will be able to. But some people just don't like them and that's okay, too. Others of us love long nails and can do everything perfectly fine. :) I'm glad you see long nails positively
I've had long nails since age 13 and worked my ass off on any job I've ever had (including the degrees I got). I made it to youngest editor-in-chief of my country with those long ass nails despite having a chronic illness and never asking/ getting any help for that either. I know plenty women with long nails that are super hard workers, whether they work in an office or even with their hands. That judgemental crow was just jealous she's in a dead end job she hates and chews her own nails as a result... It's so sad how people automatically assume things because of how you look. I have a 50s style and have a rather special winter coat (check Collectif Pearl coat on Google and you'll have your visual. I have the burgundy) that has a big collar and actually a wide skirt so as to fit poodle skirts/ dresses with circle skirts/petticoats underneath. I often pair it with a matching beret or cute fascinator. One winter day I was walking down the street past an older couple who stood on the side chatting to one another. I passed and without provocation, without any reason, the woman of the two spat at me and hissed "Arrogant bitch!" I was so flabbergasted by that comment and the spit - which thankfully missed me - that I didn't say anything back. I hurried along to my home. I was just too stumped. Few seconds later my downstairs neighbour tapped on my shoulder, who had apparently been walking behind me with a friend and had witnessed the entire altercation. Because she figured I might simply have been in shock she asked that woman what I had wanted to ask, namely: "What the F??". Woman had answered, feeling totally in the right with her spouse nodding fervently, that anyone walking around in such coats only did so because they thought they were better than anyone else and that I was therefore not prettier and richer, but simply a bitch. I mean...Whaaaaaat? How much lack of self- esteem and/or prejudice must you have to assume that someone in a different-than regular coat thinks that. Plus the assumption you make on top of that then... That comment sat with me for quite some time, too. Luckily I got over it, filing it in the drawer "idiot jealous people", but for a while my happiness that I got my dream coat after 4 years of saving + a discount code (rich, huh?) did falter a bit. I've moved and live in a big city suburb, a blue collar neighbourhood where everyone is on a below average income, like me. Instead of negativity I always get compliments on the way that I dress, am being asked for tips etc etc. I don't think it's because I'm in a wheelchair now, because I get them when I can stand up and walk a few steps (and they don't know it's my chair) as well. I actually think many people don't dare to step out of the expected mold their family/culture/society created and dress & do not like they want, but what they *think* they must. As a result they become angry when they see others who do/ wear what they might like had they had the nerve to break out of the mold. Just plain sad.
I bought a sweatshirt off of Temu, and it is the sofest, most comfortable sweatshirt I have ever worn. Seriously. I ended up buying 3 more with different prints, and now I have 4 of the best sweatshirts I have ever owned. I was impressed.
@juju dudu the ones I got are out of stock, but likely just type in "Bad Bad Girl" (name of store) and sweatshirt, and the ones they have now should come up. Make sure you buy from that store, specifically, because the sweatshirts are such good quality!!!
I’ve ordered from Temu 5 times. I’m currently waiting for 2 orders. I enjoy this Company. But I went into it thinking it would be a lot like Wish. The items do ship faster than Wish. My Granddaughter loves Wish. So I showed her Temu. We have a new addict. Lol. Also…. I love that you added “garage” in with your pronunciations that come out weird. My Grandsons walk by the TV and say, “Hey Grandma, is that the girl that says Garage weird?” Lol. It makes you memorable.
20:00 A trick for keeping those press on‘s ON! Buy a good nail glue (the brand Kiss’s is pretty good), a good nail filer as well. Push back your cuticles, file your nails well, and THEN apply the glue and nails. Those babies will stay ON for a good couple of days! And if one pops off make sure to really file away the glue residue on your nail bed before putting it back on to keep it from popping off easily. ^^ I wear press on’s all the time lol. They’re just so convenient and cute! :D 👍🏻
Temu super pleasantly surprised me. I bought a corset top (one of the ones that kind of looks like it’s made of a nice rug or tapestry material or something) and I absolutely did not expect the quality I got, it’s like something from Etsy. And I had at least previously found some other websites explaining why it’s as cheap as it is (not explicitly that it’s ethical, but it was enough to make me comfortable trying it out).
I found you through this Temu Haul - but I'm staying for so much more! I started binge watching today, but I need to study for a final (I'm back in school for my second degree and I'm in my 50s) I'll finish binging after the final is done! :)
Thank you so much for reviewing things from this site! I've been spammed with ads for it and it seems so sketchy so I didn't want to check it out myself. I also still love how your mom is amused by any and everything :)
I love Temu and order from it frequently. Personally haven’t had any issues with shipping or broken/ missing items. It’s really affordable in general and they are very lenient with coupons and codes!
So glad you made this video cause I have ordered once from both wish and Shein but temu seems surprisingly cheap and one person’s told me that everything they’ve ordered up there was legit cause both my mom and bf thought this app was a scam haha but this was exactly the proof I needed thanks😂
I love Temu! I order from them quite frequently! They do take a little bit to ship sometimes and that can be frustrating but it’s no worse than eBay and much better than wish! I like them and their customer service has always been amazing for me
I have ordered once because I am in a financial hardship at the moment and needed something and temu was the cheapest option. They have a 15€ minimum order value in europe so keep that in mind. The items I received I have no complaints about. They all arrived in one package instead of scattered over many deliveries like other marketplaces often do. They arrived reasonably quickly on the exact scheduled date and the shipping process was very transparent through lots of email updates. Ethically, I don't think ordering on temu is a good choice. But I respect the good shopping experience they offer. Don't know about returns though.
Nice haul video! I ordered sewing stuff from Temu and was happy about it. Off brand wonder clips were like 5 dollars for 100 clips. A seam roller I'm happy with and straight pins and a light box for paper piecing/tracing.
I really love the idea of the soap dispenser penguin!! I think you could print out instructions and like frame them on the wall next to or below the mirror. It's kinda corny but its too adorable to not keep
I love, love, love Temu. I've purchased 5 times now and not one bad experience. That's not to say all the products are good but the return was quick and easy. So far shipping has been good. Not as fast as Amazon but everything within a week to 10 days.
I've also had a good experience with Temu. Better than AliExpress, although they were on point most of the time too. Temu is better in the sense that the items were pretty much 100% as described and it arrived way quicker and all together in one package rather than scattered tiny packages.
I saw the video to late and ordered from them and although I haven't received my package yet they did state that if it wasn't received by March 4th I would get credit from them, so we'll see 🙄
@@lornanorris1363 I've ordered from them twice now. On my second order one of the shirts I ordered went out of stock before the order shipped and I received a five dollar credit even though I chose to wait for it to come back in stock. I still received my order on time. So far the quality has been good.
I ordered from temu last year on December 12th on The amount of $43 and it said it was gonna come before Christmas and that was great cuz what I ordered was gifts “For Christmas” anyways weeks pass and still no sign of the packages I was so worried kept contacting customer service like every day and the packages finally came on December 24th and because of my packages being delayed they refunded the full amount that I payed, plus $5 more for each order so I ended up not only receiving my package before Christmas, but also an extra $60
The printer seems to work really well with things that aren’t images. But for the images, it prints like the older photo booths that they used to have in the mall.
Thank you for mentioning the crochet thing! It's somthing my mom (who's an avid knitter and crocheter) taught me as a kid and something I never forget when I see crochet for really cheap on online sites. It really makes me think about the people making these things
This video is perfectly timed! I actually just placed a Temu order a few days ago and am waiting for it to arrive. I'm in Canada and they just started shipping here a week or two ago (honestly thought that's why you posted this, didn't realise until during the video you bought before then)
I ordered from TEMU as well. I was VERY concerned that it was a scam, especially because of the prices. I have to say I was happy with all of the products I purchased. They looked just like the pictures, and the quality was good. Thanks, Mia, for doing your review. Diane. Tell your I totally would have pushed on the penguins head. 🐧 🤣
Ilysm MIA!!
we appreciate you mia!!🤎
Thank you for being genuine
That soap thing needs more soap than water for it to make foam!
Don’t worry Mia, we already trust you lmao. You always disclose sponsorships and we know you would never not tell us! ❤
THANK YOU FOR THE CROCHET PSA!!! It’s so frustrating when people tell me I’m overpricing my crocheted items when I have to make every single stitch by hand. It takes so much time to make things, and to make them with quality yarn and sturdy costs money. I appreciate you saying what you did🥰🥰🥰
As a fellow crocheter, I support you 100%. Its good someone finally addressed this
I bought a crocheted strawberry sweater for $180
Best money I’ve ever spent
The detail and energy that goes into crocheting is amazing
I completely understand why a lot of the items are priced so high.
Omg yes I crochet too and when people say it's really expensive-it took so much time!!!
This is exactly the reason I don’t sell items, people don’t seem to have any idea how clothing is made, let alone something that can only be made by hand.
@@Natmit1-r9i exactly sis
Note on the cat printer- it's interesting that it calls itself a photo printer. Based on the quality of the photos and no color, I believe this is actually a receipt printer made to look cute
Yeah when she said thermal printer it’s basically a shipping label printer
Its a thermal printer so it doesn’t use color, and ive wanted one for a while, especially if you buy the sticker paper rolls! thermal printers are usually used for receipts, but ive seen people use them for journaling and scrapbooking, and they have higher quality ones that make the images actually clear (images like selfies) for black and white concepts and the sticker backing on the sticker rolls are really useful from what ive seen! :)
@SodaShiro There are thermal printers that print in color, search for thermal photo printers.
@SodaShiro I have the same model she bought, & I love mine. The app does let you increase the quality which makes a huge difference...
@@crangyubeary good to know! That is what I want to use it for. To make cute little stickers I can color in to give to people.
Your mom brings me so much joy lol. Your relationship with her is oddly healing. What a blessing.
Temu is what we wanted Wish to be. I have purchased a bunch of garden stuff and miniature figures for crafting and have been 100% satisfied. Definitely going to buy that little vacuum to use at work.
Cheap stuff made by slaves. Yes low prices are great, but is that the ONLY thing you care about?
So you trust it?
I've ordered too & gotten some nice sweaters & shoes. I've done a return & gotten my funds back. Shipping time isn't bad.
That's nice but I just don't trust prices that low. Someone else definitely pays the price by working in a sweatshop.
Mia you’re literally the ONLY RUclipsr and “influencer” that I trust 10000% with EVERYTHING.
Be careful though

That's the point of influencers. They want you to trust them.
The flashy makeup, flexing cars and money may be out of trend now, but it's just been replaced by "honest" and "raw" influencers.

I had a similar problem with a hand gel dispenser I bought for my shop, when you wanted it nothing came out, walk away and it dispensed loads 🤣
It was like Mia was trying to work out what her baby wanted 😂

As a scandinavian, I've gotta tell you, cold therapy is 100% for you BECAUSE you're feeling cold. The cold exposure gets your blood flowing to your skin and will make you feel less cold when you're done :) no one likes it in the beginning, but everyone gets hooked for a reason
Made in America with Norwegian and Swedish parts. I 200% agree. My Farmor taught me to rinse with ice water every morning. I still do it. And then Nivea. Soooo much Nivea

Lol.... chances are, you're 100000000% supporting sweatshop factories employing children, and paying them pennies/hr.... just to provide cheaper prices, and buy good reviews.. .

Cause the yarn costs more then that.
it's impossible to rip people off if you are selling a non necessity. People just won't buy if prices are too high!
@@teacheraprilrogers I told my mom she should start sending people for their own yarn when I heard the prices they thought things were worth.

even if yarn doesnt cost too much, its a skill you are charging for. if they want it that cheap they can make it themselves. its your thing, your price. dont feel any way about it
I love it when youtubers do honest reviews because some of them don’t even mention that they are being sponsored & act like 100% satisfied with the pieces they got.

No they don't. It's a legal requirement for them to say when they're sponsored

My first experience with Temu was positive. I ordered mostly diamond painting kits and a dress. Same thing with the dress - no tag at the neck, which is actually kind of nice. I just put a second order in last night for a bunch of other stuff so we'll see if it was just a "good first impression" thing or not.

I am in a business logistics class and we discussed Temu and their platform . It is owned by a parent company based out of china that is very popular and it works the same way that amazon does bringing sellers to put their products its platform.

That is so cheeky to market themselves as ”US based” when its just another china based crap store!

@@Felice_Enellen china?
Okay but to be clear, if the art is bad it isn’t “still worth” a lot of money just because it took ages to make…? Like… that’s not how it works lol
@@alexbennet4195 basically i get what you mean and I do agree it’s just what I meant by minor flaws and “professional work” wasn’t conveyed properly.

I love your Mom! She's great and has a wonderful laugh/smile. Thank you for doing this. I saw the printer on another video, but yours was clearer on how it looked. I will be watching more of your videos than just the dollhouses from now on. Again, i appreciate you.
I love how consciously you speak, saying “really affordable” sweats instead of “cheap” or something else that might make someone feel badly if that’s what they can afford, Mia is always so aware & it’s an amazing quality ❤
I was thinking the SAME THING! The thought and detail that go into her presentation and wording is so refreshing!
She says cheap multiple times lmao
She said cheap far more than she said ‘really affordable’
Keep in mind that cheap doesn’t have the same connotations for everyone, too. Some people hear that and feel there is an insult but others hear it purely as a synonym for affordable so if someone is saying cheap they may not be intending to speaking insensitively
She said cheap multiple times tho 😭
I'm honestly shocked any of these, let alone all to varying degrees, worked! For the "penguin" (looks like a goofy duck to me) in the guest bathroom, I'd say make a cute little sign to go beside the soap dispenser so you won't have to remember to explain how to use it. For example, "Pat the penguin to ask for some soap, and place your hand under his beak to receive it. Then, pat him again to say thank you!"
Could use the cat printer to make the sign... :)

Thank you for doing this review. I have ordered from Canada to my home in Canada and also while I am in the US having items delivered to my US address. I contacted customer service and they eventually refunded my entire purchase price along with giving me five dollars credit because of the late arrival. The service agent told me that if the package ever arrived just to keep it with their compliments. It arrived the next day.

You do know that the products are potentially dangerous and made my slave work? And the app is designed to hook you?
My experience is that when the Chinese companies such as Shein and its clones get positive reviews, they are written by people hired to write positive reviews.
Or they get a discount for writing it. There is a jewelry site that offers $15 coupon if you write a review.
you get pretty good quality for the price tbh. everything i bought on shein is extremely affordable and trendy while the irl stores in my country only have old women clothes. used some pieces 20 times and it's still like new, so idk why it's so unfathomable that someone could like it
it's true from my experience that the companies encourage you to write reviews as fast as you can or as many as you can. I can say that shein offers points (which can be used for discounts) and when people buy a lot of things they just want to get the reviews done with and will write some simple comment like "very good love it so much" which is not very helpful. The products are usually what you pay for and some reviews are legit so keep an eye out for those
That's true, I think it is so messed up to have fake reviews, so u can't trust anything!!!
Nah shein reviews are legit I do them all the time.
Why would you buy long ones to then make them short, it doesn’t make sense. You might ruin the design, unless you have plain colored ones
Just curious, but why do you prefer stick on to painting them?
@@selinaschmid696 can’t get the paint to stay on more than a day no matter what I’ve tried!
@@elodieelvira7913 depends on the design and I don’t normally buy long ones anyway. Trimming them has never caused me any problems
this is so true.
Thank god your Mum in law is smart and kind enough to know people are poor as hell.
I mean she’s being smart keep the prices simple and then when business starts booming gradually increase the cost of items + it’s nice to give to those who can’t afford some crochet I’ve knitted a scarf that took me the whole pandemic to make and gave it to a mom so she could give it to her kid for free:)
Can we know where she sells stuff?

I have ordered from them probably 15 times already and I am still obsessed! Some things are maybe not quite as expected but when you're paying 30 cents for something what do you expect.

Same! I don't know how they do it! But I wish I could too! 😭😭
I wanna be pretty azs he|| while working. 🥺

The penguin soap when he kept dribbling in the background, his face made it even better, I’m dying 😂
I wear press on’s all the time lol. They’re just so convenient and cute! :D 👍🏻
I assume you can take them off with acetone as needed?
I friggin love how excited your mom gets at everything ❤
Temu super pleasantly surprised me. I bought a corset top (one of the ones that kind of looks like it’s made of a nice rug or tapestry material or something) and I absolutely did not expect the quality I got, it’s like something from Etsy.
And I had at least previously found some other websites explaining why it’s as cheap as it is (not explicitly that it’s ethical, but it was enough to make me comfortable trying it out).
OMG Your mom is SO precious! I also REALLY LOVE Temu and so glad you had fun with Temu cause they have so many adorable stuff SERIOSULY!
I ❤ Mama Maples! I love Mia too but when Mama Maples laughs, I laugh… she’s just such a positive light. Thank you Mia for sharing your family with us!
I love Temu and order from it frequently. Personally haven’t had any issues with shipping or broken/ missing items. It’s really affordable in general and they are very lenient with coupons and codes!
I’m addict to Temu
So glad you made this video cause I have ordered once from both wish and Shein but temu seems surprisingly cheap and one person’s told me that everything they’ve ordered up there was legit cause both my mom and bf thought this app was a scam haha but this was exactly the proof I needed thanks😂
The mini vacuum, soap duck, and nails were the hidden jems of this haul. 🥰😍💘
I love Temu! I order from them quite frequently! They do take a little bit to ship sometimes and that can be frustrating but it’s no worse than eBay and much better than wish! I like them and their customer service has always been amazing for me
I’ve been looking for a review of this company!! So happy you are doing this one!! Your reviews are amazing!!
Mama Maples oozes positivity. An angel truly brightening the world
Nice haul video!
Not as fast as Amazon but everything within a week to 10 days.
temu is surprisingly so good! love that mia is covering it so all the baddies know
I agree. It's like Shein, you need to understand you get what your pay for lol so far every order from temu has been surprisingly decent 👌
I've also had a good experience with Temu. Better than AliExpress, although they were on point most of the time too. Temu is better in the sense that the items were pretty much 100% as described and it arrived way quicker and all together in one package rather than scattered tiny packages.
Oh my God stop Mia you’re literally in my head I was just about to place an order from they’re worried it was legit so thank you 😊
I just had an ad for them for the first time yesterday and I googled "Is Temu legit?" Mia's in my brain!
Me too but the reviews stopped me about people not getting their orders, then the company not giving their $ back.
I saw the video to late and ordered from them and although I haven't received my package yet they did state that if it wasn't received by March 4th I would get credit from them, so we'll see
🙄
Samee. I wanted to order some cute office supplies for work from there but was super worried.
I have bought many things from Temu and have been happy with everything. I now love shopping at Temu.
Been wanting to order here for the last few days but was sketchy about them!! Happy you posted this in time
This video is perfectly timed!
I just love how true you are to your subscribers ❤ it’s rare these days
