      Most of her "problem solving" was already done by someone else previously. You just have to look at the garment before you buy it. I have tons of leggings with no crotch seam, for example. I already own several water bottles with clear straw caps. These are largely NOT original ideas, they're just small tweaks on someone else's idea.

    I think the wild thing is that people complain about the prices of these things because we're use to cheap fast fashion made from slave labour. When a company actually uses quality long lasting materials, unique flattering "custom" patterns and actually pays their staff enough money to live on, the stufff IS gonna be more expensive, buying sustainably currently isnt a cheap endeavour and yes quality clothes should be more accessible but thats a society issue not an individual business problem.

    • @bahiyyou5210
      @bahiyyou5210 Год назад

      @@fart63 I agree with both you and the original commenter. This is all just a result of capitalism and big companies/governments resolve to line their own pockets while the people who actually make them the money struggle to survive. We want people to be paid fairly and still get good quality clothing? We pay more. We want clothes to be more affordable? Someone will be getting exploited behind the scenes. We want a higher minimum wage and fair pay? We need to band together as a society and boycott large businesses, hassle the government and refuse to back down until our voices are heard. But this takes time, numbers, energy, effort. And at the end of the day it isn't feasible or realistic for most people. To protest in that way means being unafraid of having your means of living taken from you. If you don't need the money it will be fine but if you do, well... Anyway this was a really long way to say that in our society where exploitation is institutionalized and profited off of, one way or another someone will get hurt.

      @Fart but those same people complain that their $3 shirt from Shein isn't durable, while bitching that real quality durable long lasting clothes (that aren't made in sweat shops) being too expensive/a scam/not worth it/uninclusive.. You get what you pay for. It's really nothing about the economy, as if expensive designer brands are the only ones that exsist? No, it's about wanting handmade luxury items for Goodwill prices.
      Also no one is forcing people to buy $100 leggings.

      @@sourfar so you could wear what we called skins underneath, basically meaning you could wear leggings underneath for modesty and warmth, but for the first couple years of school we HAD to play field hockey as an after school sport, and the uniform was the skort. I ended up continuing with field hockey as my sport (we were required to do at least one) for the rest of school. Therefore, the uniform we had was the skort. And then if we were going to play hockey in class, then the skort was required for that PE class
      If the PE class didn't involve playing field hockey, you didn't have to wear the skort, and could wear your school tracksuit bottoms or the school shorts (which were required for basketball which was also a mandatory after school sport in the first couple of years, but the shorts were much more comfortable and generally made me and my friends less self conscious).
      Once we got into our final 1-2 years of school (6 years total in my country) they cared less about the uniform rules in sports and people mostly just wore the tracksuit bottoms or shorts they felt comfortable in. So my first 4 years of school I was kind of constantly required to wear the skort and generally didn't love that.
      You could get religious exemptions if your religion had specific rules for modesty (basically meaning if you were Muslim or Orthodox Jewish) then you could wear the tracksuit bottoms, but there was no excuses for anyone else given we were a Christian school in a predominantly christian and atheist country. So no excuses given they, a Christian school, literally said it was okay to wear the skort 😂. So a girl in my class from 4th to 5th year who was Muslim, didn't wear the skort, but no excuses for the rest of us whose parents were christian or atheist.

Split the seam in the back of a cap, re-finish the split edges and DONE you've got a split hole in the back of your cap. Just be careful not to split it all the way down to the original hole, stop splitting 1cm or so above it. Confirm it works, have done it on a couple of my caps. Comparing these prices to Amazon or Aliexpress prices totally nullifies your argument about the price. Amazon and Aliexpress are notorious for bad quality products which underpay someone if not multiple someone’s along the production line … if you can’t afford these prices then finding an alternative that is good for you, that’s great !! I can’t afford this cost either, but I know that the price is equivalent to a fairly paid designer, production team, advertising team and stockist. Perhaps a well paid team. Which is great! Plus, I saw it had planet-friendly packaging in the shipping and that gets expensive!

      @@jostewart3192 I don't believe any of that. More overpriced, over hyped, products being made to make one person that much richer is not sustainable. Ive worked at factories that produce tshirts for both name brands and Walmart. Same blank shirts with different tags and logos added. People are buying into her shtick. She "solves" problems and then up charges 10 times what the product should cost. Expensive doesn't always equal better quality and it's very easy for brands to get away with using catchphrases like planet friendly by ticking a few very small check boxes. This company is not your friend, neither is Amazon or Temu or Wal-Mart but all I'm saying is that at least when it comes to me and my hard earned money I will not be making any RUclipsr richer by paying $70 for a freaking water bottle. I'm bigger chested, so not wearing a bra doesnt work for me, especially at a gym and on top of that, my shirt was the kind of cropped that if you raised your arms, you can see the bottom of your sports bra so even if I wanted to go braless, I couldn't cause I'd end up showing the world my titties 😂 I ended up taking one of my wider resistance bands and wrapping my chest with it like a bandeau and tried to finish my workout like that. Yeah, I'm not sure if she hasn't seen it because she's smaller chested, but every zipper sports bra I've ever owned has had clips to hold it together if the zipper comes undone. Not saying every zipper bra has clips, but that's definitely not innovative or new. Half of my leggings have had long stretchy pockets like that for years, basically since phones got huge. As another replier said, she might be early in combining certain features or design elements, but she's not the first to design these items by a long shot.

    • @usernamesareoverrated8990
      @usernamesareoverrated8990 11 месяцев назад +1

      @@danitini14 ok so I don't mean to sound rude so I really hope it doesn't come off that way, this is a genuine question. What is the point of a zipper if there are clips already? I've never owned a zipper bra but I assumed it was for ease of closure, right? It's easier to fasten than clips. So if you have both clips and a zipper, one of them becomes redundant. Is it just aesthetic?

    • @sunshinesmiles5386
      @sunshinesmiles5386 9 месяцев назад +5

      @@usernamesareoverrated8990it is redundant, and that's the point. If one fails, then you have the insurance of the other. Having a front closure is so convenient, but way more likely to cause a wardrobe malfunction than a standard bra, so you want to eradicate that risk. Also, having the clips takes some strain off the zipper (the greatest cause of zipper breakage), increasing longevity, and the zipper covers the gaps in the spaces between clips.

So once my husband got one GOOD QUALITY that costed aprox 10dollars (a bit more pricey) and oh well well. We filled with water and let the bottle inside the car, the bottle was boiling hot to the touch from outside but inside the water was still freezing cold after being out of home for 4 hours... as far as for hot works perfect too! I drank coffee and burn my throat thinking after 2 hours it was gonna be warm not scorching hot ... so sometimes waterbottle quality is important.. at least if you're living in a scorching hot country like this.

      The brand she’s buying from has a permanent section on Walmart so the bottle you saw there was probably the same in the video, in every way

      @@AnaClara-dx6nithe details, fabric, design, etc., is often similar but not the same. It may not last longer or be as efficient. For example, one of the water bottles at target is a plastic one, which doesn’t keep water cold.

    The trouble with the Aerie leggings is I feel like I never know what they're going to be like. I have like five pairs of leggings from them (2 are the criss cross ones) and none of them are alike lol. Different fabric and fit every single time I order.

    Her products are usually so nice loved the video❤ The hat reminds me of the hat a young black girl made but she had the whole back half off for bigger hair styles at the back like puffs or wearing afro-centric hair out since it doesnt fall/lay flat like other hair types

    Popflex is really true to size. I usually wear medium to large and sometimes even extra large (in popular stores I'm of course large) but Popflex's medium feels like it was made for me. Words can't describe how much I love Casey and her team.

      I got her tall leggings as a 6 foot girl, I wasn’t confident in the length (I’ve been burnt before) so I picked the longest and they arrive and were almost too long on me

    I have that same exact yoga mat in that color and i looooove. The extra cushion makes it perfect for any workout that requires you to lay on your back as it will give you great cushion for your tailbone

    Hi Mia!! Video suggestion: trying brazilian brands makeups! We sure would love to see 🤍🇧🇷 because we have amazing brands here like Bruna Tavares, Mari Maria, Boca Rosa, Karen Bachini… They are high quality makeups and not too expensive. Hope u see this comment ❤

    i’ve been wanting to see someone test these out. to me, i’d never be able to justify buying something this expensive just for the minor conveniences that it offers. i feel like you should have zero complaints after spending this much money on something

    I’ve seen lots of people complain that her stuff is expensive but something I’ve learn is that something we may think is expensive and can’t afford there’s definitely other people who can and will have no issue buying it so I don’t think she will lower the prices

      That logic doesn't change the fact that for an average working class person (that the population is mostly made up of) these are unaffordable
