just a little something i found worth mentioning!! i’m latino and have heard many people not wanting to use “latinx” because that sound doesn’t really exist in most our languages. as it was created by americans/english speaking people to refer to us, it upsets some latino people cause it kinda goes back to colonization. and also we use “e” or “o” as a gender neutral way to refer to things (at least on my language) so it isn’t really necessary!
yeah! as someone who is portuguese (which is a latin language), the "x" sound is completely different from the sound it makes in english so it becomes complicated to use :/ we also tend to use "e" instead, depending on the context/word :)! i was looking for this comment
i prefer using latine, it makes much more sense than "latinx" since "le"

@@marilyn2650 honestly i heard many good but also many bad reviews from different people. so i bought an eyeliner, eyeshadow palette and the lipgloss. i really like the palette, it’s not too pigmented but also not like a childs eyeshadow palette, if you know what i mean. the lipgloss is great (obviously) but I personally also don’t really like the eyeliner. I can’t even explain what bothers me about it, but I don’t use it anymore and gifted it my friend.
My friend really likes it tho. So I think It’s just an opinion thing🤷🏼♀️
Well for a couple years aris eyeliner was a MESS so it’s fitting her product is a hit or miss too
54:10 i don't know if someone has mentioned this already, but the reason you might not have felt this 'closeness' between harry styles and pleasing is that he is just the creative director (i think it is) of the brand. he doesn't own it or make the products himself, but he is used very much for the campaign and promotion of it.

I knew you would like Halsey's brand. She is an actual makeup artist and she does INCREDIBLE and FUN makeup looks unlike most celebrities that go for the basics (nothing wrong with basics but it gets boring with time). Most reviews I found on her brand said the brand was shitty because people didn't understand how to use the liquid eyeshadows, but I get those are not begginer friendly lol you did it justice. I loved your final look. About face is actually the only celebrity brand that interests me !!

(Here is what I think of it lol sorry it’s so long) The funny thing is, I JUST got Halsey’s makeup brand. Like, today. I got the about_face brand bc Ik she has two brands. The product I bought was the matte fluid eye paint in the shade ‘freaked’ which is a sort of pale dusty lilac color. It was AMAZING, you apply and then can blend out and it dries very nicely. It is actually so waterproof it was a bit hard to scrub off. I bought it for 16$ overall worth it (I will maybe make a RUclips video on it actually so it you want a more in depth review u can watch that lol) also the eye paints are very beginner friendly ppl don’t know what they’re talking about.
These are gonna be the best 90 minutes of my life 🕺

I’ve also had the same problem with the Rare beauty foundation. A way I made it work was put on moisturizer under the foundation and put a light amount. I absolutely love the concealer though, one of my favorites! Rare beauty has some of my absolute favorite products, like the liquid blushes and highlighter
I heard Selena say shaking the bottle well before use can help? It helped me personally but we all have different skin that some stuff doesn't work on as well

Fun fact: in Brasil we're already discussing about this 'latinix' thing as something that shouldn't happen because when you put the audio over it (which is common for the sake of accesibility), it's just not readable so we'd go in for "latines" instead. IDK about the other countries in Latin America, but that makes sense and this has been around for years now. I'd say is weird that she's not thinking on it, but it's been a year since then. So I went looking for it and decided to go out of my comfort zone and do a very bold non-traditional makeup look and I am so proud of myself. I think the reason Millys makeup was so unpigmented and light is because she was 15 at the time, so her targeted audience where under 18, and the majority of teenagers parents don’t want their teens to wear to much makeup.

"Latinx" is a word that is most commonly used by americans, no latin american person uses that word, we actually mostly despise it. It's just another word created by americans that has nothing to do with latin culture lmao.
For a gender neutral version that we actually use, "latine" is acceptable and it doesn't destroy our language as much 😅

Spanish is my third language but latine is also what I was taught to use. I'm also not from the US and I learned this by simply asking a few kind native speakers in a language exchange group.
I hear other latin people say its basically like the language is being colonized. Cause we already have a gender neutral word. I feel like the word "Latin" itself is also gender neutral too, no? Idk, does not make sense.

Actually the rare beauty illuminating primer wasn't the best launch of theirs. It is nice for some people, tho her ' always an optimist' one is actually good for everyone. And apply the foundation only a few dots across entire face. Less is more with the particular formulas of this brand. Maybe apply 1-2 dots more on needed areas. Loved the amount of time and effort you put in it. Love you for this.
I love Rare Beauty but I'm more for that natural look and Naomi is not that at all 😂

My ex and i went to a family gathering and sice he was a part of his family i met him there :) He was super kind! He had like his own studio at his house too. Funfact; Halsey know a little Norwegian :)

I have an about face product and didn't even know it was Halsey's brand! Got the liquid red eyeshadow in hopes of finally having a red eyeliner that does everything: stays put, is vibrant and not absolute hell to apply. Been good so far! Really love that I can smudge it out a little which I usually have to do with eyeshadow
Your videos inspire me to be more experimental, im always so frustrated when my makeup doesn't look the way I wanted, I'm learning to just embrace it and try new colours and new techniques! Great video.
