I like how she starts off saying she didn't think she'd be doing these makeup videos, meanwhile she presents herself in every single video with the most legendary makeup designs on her face. If I could afford blowing through eyeliner and rhinestones I'd do my makeup like her everyday, I just wish she'd film herself doing these looks. I love the little details she puts around her eyes

I'm BEGGING for a Drugstore brand video!! Wet n Wild, E.L.F., Revlon, Rimmel, Uoma, Maybelline, all that fun stuff. I absolutely adored the Celebrity makeup video, and this video, and it's helping me to learn so much about makeup brands and products, as someone who knows very little. I went out and bought the About Face teal mascara because of the Celeb makeup video lol

Just so you know, Smashbox picked up that Champagne Pop Becca highlighter when the brand went away (I think it is in the same/very similar packaging) so it is still around.. we have it on Ulta here in the US, I am not entirely sure where else it is available✨✨💜
I'm always scared I'll pick the wrong shade of foundation or concealer so I just get the lightest shade bc my contour and bronzer will fix it lol
Try the 3 that you think is closest to your skin, like side by side, then pick your best match. It's the one that stands out the least on your skin. I used to think mine would always be the palest colour in terms of foundation but it's not, my skin is deceptively dark, more of a medium shade rather than the lightest. I recommend you try Revolution foundation because the shade range is huge, it's cheap and it is honestly better than some really pricey brands

I generally hate preaching about separating art from the artist. People do it a lot with music and movies and whatever. Like wow sO CoOL that you can but I'm not obligated to. No one HAS TO. Like no I'm not gonna watch woody allen movies cause he's definitely a p3d0. Ffs.
Actually, Linda Hallberg did have a scandal here in Sweden a couple of years ago regarding the company's employees. People were not paid enough, or not paid at all, and worked overtime without compensation. People also did not have a collective agreement. There were also some allegations of racism within the company, including that of people's payroll. Can't remember how they resolved the issue, but they did gain quite a lot of shit from this. Anyway, this is just a short summary, there's more to it if one wants to dig in.

I first found Naomi when her henna freckles went horribly wrong and she has been such a comfort creator since then. watching her videos was such an anxiety reducing thing that I found when I was struggling at school. my family went through a lot of changes including major surgeries this past fall and whenever I was feeling overwhelmed with my situation, I would sit down at night and watch her 7 days of food videos on repeat. I can tell that she is a creator that genuinely cares about her subscribers and views them as individuals. her and her channel are and will always and forever be my comfort space ♡ ♡ madelynggrant

It’s great to watch reviews from people who do makeup in a “non-traditional” way. Also I didn’t realize that most cosmetics companies don’t have international shipping
I think its because there is a high chance of them getting lost or broken during shipping and the brands don't want to deal with that because its a loss of profit on their side if things don't go well during shipping.

I honestly loved watching this video, didn't matter that it was almost 2 hours. I could sit and listen to Naomi talk about makeup and watch her do different looks all day long. Even with the more questionable makeup products, she managed to slay a look from them. It's hard to peel the brand away from their creators but I do think that looking at them together and separately gives you insight on where they are coming from and who is the person behind them. However, some products speak for themselves, no matter who is behind the brand name. And I think that Naomi was able to showcase that in this video.
