Highly recommend using actual oven cleaner and letting it sit for 4 hours! The grease will break down and you won't have to scrape. And once it's cleaned out, you should get either an oven liner or use foil for the bottom to collect grease and oil. It'll be so much easier to clean in the future ✨️

Hi Mia!! I work in the maintenance department at Buc-ee's (a Texas based gas station known for really clean bathrooms) and we spray an all purpose cleaner called Otis on the grout and let it sit for a few minutes while we make a small bucket of warm water with a bit of bleach mixed in then we dip a scrubber brush in the diluted bleach mixture and scrub the grout clean and wipe with towels to dry. I'm not sure if it will work on your glitter grout but I'm excited to see if you try it!!

Different products for different types of dirt and different materials being cleaned: the steam machine is good for water-based things, or loosening/softening oily things. Steam would have worked great in the oven, but it WILL take paint off or melt anything suseptible to heat. I love using the steamer around the faucets, on the sink and toilet, where I want things sanitized. Its great for small corners that you cant get into. I LOVE my steamers. Mia, I’m sure I’m not the first to mention it but most ovens have a “self clean” function. Traditional self-cleaning cycles heat the oven between 800°F and 900°F, helping turn soil and spills to a powdery ash you can then wipe away. You do need to ventilate the kitchen well during it but it eliminates the need to clean it like you did.

    • @Melon1169

For the oven, use oven cleaner! It will get all those spots up. You need to let the cleaner sit on the surface for a while before picking it up, otherwise it won't have time to actually dissolve the dirt and grime. For the Blissel, double check the instructions. You may need to pre-treat stains and press harder/go slower with the brush head, scrub at difficult spots and go over everything twice at a different angle.

  • @OpenWorldGirlMR

I grew up with a green machine in my house and here are my tips: you have to do little areas at a time, spray the stain, scrub it with the brush until it suds (very important) and then slowly drag the vacuum over the stain, make sure to drag opposite directions. Repeat as needed. I have the removed the deepest and craziest stains. It is a miracle machine. Some intense stains have taken 15 scrubs but itll get there. Keep that thing forever. I grew up with an old dog who had frequent accidents in the house towards the end of his life and we always used it to clean up after him. We had one for animal cleans and one for everything else.

to get the best results with the little green machine, use warm/hot water and go a lot slower and use the brush to scrub the cleaner in before vacuuming it.. i've gotten carpets that were dark grey to go white again doing it that way. Also for more stubborn stains spray it and letting it sit for a minute or two before vacuuming helps loads. I'm heavy handed with my cleaner, so usually after I'm done cleaning my sofa it's actually so damp that I have to let it dry before I can even sit on it. I was told that's how it's supposed to be, so if you can sit on it with getting a bit damp/wet after using a shampoo machine then it's not clean enough lol

Hey girl! I recently cleaned my couch with a machine similar to the green one you cleaned your chair with. In Denmark if you translate it into english, it's called a carpet cleaner. You use a special soap in the water, and if you have pretty warm water as well it should be able to get a lot of stuff very clean. My couch is really clean now, and the stain I had is now gone, which I'm so happy about! :D You can also have some type of spray for really annoying stains, leave them on for a short period of time (because if you wait too long, it bleaches), and then wash over it again with the machine. It's so great when you have all the right tools for it. :) Just thought I would tell you about it! I love your videoes! Thank you for yet another entertaining video!

Now I have a huge steamer, the size of a vacuum cleaner that I bought for £100 and has lasted me for years. I don't use it every week but every so often I do a deep clean of the kitchen or bathroom and it's a miracle worker. Great tools do make cleaning so much less of a chore.

My Mom & I love that bissell little green! It’s especially good for pet accidents on the carpet. Quick story time, when Mom first got it she was cleaning up a dog pee accident but you know how the water/cleaning solution you fill then turn upside down to attach to the machine? Well I was like be careful when you take the dirty side off because I don’t know where it empties from & since it has a little spout & not a sealed lid my Mom accidentally tipped it spilling the dirty pee water all down the front of herself! We both screamed! Needless to say she never did that again

I think the reason you still have the little spots on your oven is because it's on the other side of the glass. In most ovens you can take the glass panel out to clean it. Alternatively a lot of people (at least in my area) offer professional oven cleaning services where they take it apart and give it a deep clean.

Baking soda mixed with vinegar/ lemon juice is and acid and a base which makes salt and water. Use them separately or not at all. You could pretreat with one and use the other it and it might react to help clean, but usually the bubbles mean you just made both the vinegar/ lemon juice and baking soda inactive or turn them into water (and salt). Save money and just add salt to water and use that.
