the brands wanting to collab even when they don't ship to Canada is a bad sign tough, since is a prove they don't actually know who they are emailing

usually when you partner they will specially ship to you - not all of her audience is in Canada so they will send her the product hoping to appeal to her US (or other country) audience not her canadian.

AHHH BOOMBA..... I was actually contacted by them to film a video for them and euuuhm yep long story short they owe me commission money they had promised, hid some pretty important information from me AND when I called them out about how unfair their treatment was thowards when I had brought them clients. They turned into robot mode and kept replying the same messages over and over again and it was very hurtful and I felt used by them.
Commenting so this gets boosted (hopefully) this is not done!
As someone who follows both Smikimimi and Mia, people should be aware of how they treat their collaborators.

you know, you shouldn’t trust any influencers. I’m not a hater, I literally love her content and videos, but anyone could sponsor any products by saying “not sponsored”. what I meant is that don’t believe too much in the internet. even your favourite RUclipsr may get paid for sponsoring products which aren’t reliable. but, it’s your choice. I respect it, but as well as you’ll have to respect mine. just don’t rely too much on them.

The biggest argument I see for that pillow for me personally, is for the hours I lie awake on my side on my phone with one eye squinted/squished up. 😂

I put my pillow on the top of the head so my eyes kinda don’t touch anything 😅 I do that because I hate the feeling of my earphones to be pushed against my ear 😭
To anyone who might need to know: You can't expect a sunscreen to fully protect you for 5 hours. You generally need to reapply every 2 hours.
I want to add on to this that you need to reapply every time you get out of the water!

The fact that I (as a ginger) heard the term "ginger armor" and instantly thought "true ginger armor is sunscreen" then immediately heard that it IS sunscreen is sending me rn. I didn't expect it to actually have to do with sensitive ginger skin lmao

Mia! Your ‘duck gravy boat’ is most definitely a vintage Country Goose pitcher. I don’t want to age myself, but I remember people having this Country Goose theme as full on kitchen decor - drinking glasses, dinnerware, salt and pepper shakers, tea towels, placemats … even wallpaper borders 😂

Glazed ceramics are coated in glass though? It is just a fancy glass that is liquid before you set it on fire (or just get it really hot since most kilms aren't actually setting the pieces directly on fire)
I lost my mom 3 years ago due to cancer complications…every time mama maples comes on it’s soothing and nice because she’s absolutely light hearted and how she acts towards Mia just warms my heart.
Sorry for your loss ;( I lost my dad 5 years ago, and feel the same when I see other ppls kind dads, as mine was the kindest man ever. Hurts, but also sorta like.. massaging a sore spot. Sending love ❤

The Dutch company thing: I live in the Netherlands and have a store IN MY STREET that sells the strawberry vases and the lemon ones. Just telling you because I got so excited like: "omg, I know what that is!". It's really cool to recognize them though!

I am also from the Netherlands and work in a flower shop that sells the original strawberry vases! The brand that created these strawberry and lamon vases is called “DesPots” and is also based in the netherlands. Sadly a lot of companys remake thair designs and sell them. But DesPots is the real brand! You Should defenitly check out their products becouse thay have a lot more pretty en eyecatching vases and decorations you would love!

I know her word is genuine, reliable and trustworthy, and it seems like that’s a very difficult thing to come across in the world of influencers these days. She hasn’t ever changed one bit from the genuine and humble person she started out as, and I love her for that. Such a wonderful role model for young girls to look up to.

My wedding was a few days ago…during my reception my dress strap broke so I removed them. My Boomba SAVED MY LIFE. My dress lasted all night with NO problems. I danced all night and people even lifted me on their shoulders and jumped around and the Boomba single-handedly held my dress up.

A curved pillow definitely helps with lash extensions (if you can’t sleep on your back) but a satin pillowcase is key (and helps with wrinkles)
The satin pillowcase I had made my hair so oily.
@adamvarner9936 I've noticed my silk pillow case seems to collect my face oils. This can then end up in my hair. I ended up boiling mine to get rid of the oil.
I don’t have lash extensions but I have long lashes, and I know for a fact that due to me smooshing my face into my pillow is the reason why they break off sometimes 😂
@@lehon481 That is good to know. I often feel silly wearing a satin bonnet and sleeping on a silk pillowcase. One is good for my hair and other one is good for the skin. Hair and skin oil never meet.
dont get silk unless its synthetic!! :( they boil thousands silkmoths alive for their silk because its easier than just removing their silk cocoons. i just learned this so dont feel bad if you didnt know
for the sunscreen, even with the best, highest spf ones, you are supposed to reapply every two-four hours (depending on spf and your activities. in water or sweating a lot means more frequent). so, a very light sunburn tracks for being outside for five hours.
Nope you are wrong. 30spf is the max best, its 98% effective. Do your research

that's how you're supposed to use the boomba things! they tell you to wear it on the inside of something that's skin tight and not loose at all, which a shirt would be. AND YAAS i honestly love these types of videos.
Yes, this! I bought the Boomba inserts for my wedding dress which has a corsage top and I honestly loved the results.

I have a Philips ipl hair removal is from their older models, and can say is working very well on me.

Jepp, they work. No worries. You need reasonably dark body hair and fairly light skin, though.
I got one like 15 years ago and even these dinosaurs already did their job reasonably well.
For the curler, dont forget to swap directions of the curls occasionally for a more natural look and to keep the curls curling away from your face!

As a ginger who lives in New Zealand where there's a hole in the ozone layer.... I just wanted to add my two cents 🤣✌️❤️ So you times the spf by the burn time. But also just reapplying every 2 hours or more if you swim usually is 👌I can burn in 15 minutes in summer here if 'm not wearing sunscreen. ✌️❤️
It’s about 20 minutes in Arizona in the summer I think lol. Don’t ask me how many times I failed to pay attention to that fact before I started wearing sunscreen every day

Just don’t order from that particular store, since they lie about them being ceramic and handmade. That second vase was definitely plastic and not handmade anywhere. I’m sure with the correct research you will find the real artist making them.

14:55 Mia you can adjust the duration of the beeps (how long your hair needs to stay in the curler) on the curler settings. You can also change the direction of the curls from the settings and the temperature too.
I might be biased because I use it too 😀, but I think it's a very good curler for people that can't style their hair with curling wands, especially because it's very easy to figure out, use, and get used to, however, you need to do small sections of hair 😥.

Mia, didn't the Shop's site say ceramics? Not glass? There are different ceramic types and finished in glaze, so the plastic one probably had a different glaze type or ceramic mix...otherwise they lied in their message 😂

About the material of the strawberry vases: it says in the email that they only sell hand made ceramic products! Those are neither glass or plastic, they’re ceramic
The big one is ceramic and she just called it by the wrong name but the small one was definitely plastic. You can hear the difference in the materials when she taps on it and the listing even says it’s material is polymer (which is plastic, not ceramic)

Soo maybe an idea for a video? They make UV sunscreen stickers that tell u when u need to reapply sunscreen. You should get the stickers and test a bunch of diff sunscreens to compare them and see which lasts best/works better

I did some research and I can confirm that the hairsmite product was on a scam site, its good that you found basically the same thing off of amazon, but when it comes to it I would do my research on sites before buying products
