Another great video Will. Couldn’t believe it when I was reading this drivel on social media today! Really bad journalism by the media. Thanks for keeping us informed.
Never mind always prefacing "Elon Musk" with "billionaire". The fact that the media can't mention "Tesla" or "SpaceX" without prefacing them with "Elon Musk's" is sad enough!
I do admire what Elon has achieved, although maybe not everything he says, but that is fine. We are all allowed to have our own ideas and thoughts. I must saythat I really love driving my Tesla Model 3 Highland. Most fixes for Tesla's recall have been fixed via a software update. These updates have also given free upgrades to the car such as boot opening and adaptive headlights. Love your videos and presentation, thanks Will!
Tesla don't need a PR department because of channels like this, that can shout "unfair" from the roof-top on their behalf. Granted an over-the-air software update is not in the same bracket as having to have cars physically turn up at a Tesla service centre, like the Cybertruck's accelerator pedal recall, however, to call it a non-risk because there have been no reported incidents doesn't make it any less serious. Vehicle manufacture's have recalls on cars all the time, but if Tesla are going to do without a PR department then they are going to have to suck up the few negative comments, just as they benefit big time from all the positives. Musk on has to mention some vapourware product and his army of fans will promote it as though it were a done deal.
LOL... "cars that are as unique from each other as a row of lamp posts" . . . . I'm not British and our expression is, ".... as unique from each other as a row of English houses"..... I'm sure sure you are okay with that expression too.
I've never had much respect for actors, mainly because their job consists of lying. In the meantime, I've realized that journalists seem to have a similar job-lying. My problem with clickbait is that it distracts from real safety issues, and Tesla isn't immune to these. At some stage, there will be a genuine issue that needs addressing, and it's crucial for Tesla owners to be informed. Oh, wait. Never mind. They can just send a message to their customers about the problem via their in-car screens. Media, keep doing what you're doing. There's a reason traditional media is dying. We believed you were honest, unbiased purveyors of truth and news. Now we find out you're just here to maximize ad revenue. What a fool I've been.
The media is full of Sh*t when it comes to Tesla. Scotty Kilmer is going to drive himself into an early grave making Tesla-hate videos. Elon derangement syndrome 😂
@@edwardhackett-jones8126 Missing the point much? If they tend to use it more that mericans do, they will notice if there's an issue with the position sensor.
@@rogerstarkey5390 I am sure we soon have to follow the official recall from our Kraftfahrbundesamt and drive our cars to a the only allowed secure WiFi Antenna which may exist somewhere in a nondescript building heavily armed and secured from foreign hackers, air gaped and with 18 Supersecure knuckle prints authenticating and authorizing our right to access to ultra secure „OTA“. Love Tesla, but I wish Musk wasn't the figure head. He's a bit of a numpty. And he's never taken a risk. When you are rich enough to dump £40bn on twitter, and still be the richest man alive...nothing is a risk. Your lifestyle will always be maintained. Risks are only if you are going to lose it all and have to start again. As for the word recall...yeah, it's a silly word these days.
'Bit of a numpty' perhaps, but he's an enormous risk taker. He sank every last penny into SpaceX and Tesla in the early days, knowing full well both might go bankrupt as they were haemorrhaging money. He has been willing to risk it all and lose everything, and almost did. I'd highly recommend Walter Isaacson's book about Elon in order to see just how much he's been willing to risk.

Really? Tesla was very very close to going bankrupt in the early days. Yes, it’s taken off incredibly and he has a ridiculous paper fortune in shares and options, but not taken any risks, he didn’t have anything like the wealth your talking about even 10 years ago.

He’s not lounging around on a yacht ANY day.
There is a very big difference between him and the other Billionaires.
Yes, he is a grub.
I love my Model Y. It's been flawless unlike my Ford Maverick that's had 9 recalls so far (2022).
They were all OTD Updates. Over the Dealer.
Cant wait for my Elon hating colleagues to tell me all about the severity of this 'recall' ....
One of mine already has. I asked if his car has a notification in his car when his hood latch isn't locked. Better take your car in for a repair ;)
Beauty of Over The Air updates 👍🏻
Will, I wish I possessed your sharp and eloquent wit. Spot on !😅
Tesla has done an exceptional good job at distinguishing the disingenuous press

When was the last time they list or mention the owner of a company when they make recalls? Probably never.
@@MikesProjectsandHobbiesMC It's not clear who is recalling the cars, Elon Musk himself or Tesla the company?
Well Done

Why wouldn't they?
I guess not. They have not been instructed by the CCP to do so.
