In regards to Jiren, I don’t see a problem with it, since Vegeta and Goku have gotten so much stronger in the time between the TOP and this movie, while also showing him as a goal to reach in spite of that
It also makes sense to use Jiren still as a goal than Moro, Granolah and Gas since they were indeed more powerful than Jiren, but Jiren obtained that strength on his own without absorbing power like Moro or wishing for it like Granolah and Gas.

I do. I guess you can try to strive to fight in a style like his, but in terms of raw strength Goku surpassed Jiren the moment he achieved silver haired UI. Then the Moro and granolah arcs in which he mastered that form and got even stronger, and Vegeta achieved UE which puts him on par with, if not above Goku. Jiren still being a goal to achieve, when goku had moved past that to whis, and vegeta had moved past it to Beerus, simply because Jiren meditates and does not waste ki, does not make sense to me. I'm sure the angels and G.O.Ds have better energy and control over it than him. Beerus and Whis should stay the goal.
The Movie ignores the Moro and Granolah arc
That first tidbit about Magenta being secretly involved with Dr. Gero's experiments during the Android Saga is a really huge reveal and cleans up one of Super Hero's biggest problems, being the inside knowledge that Magenta had about the Androids and OG Cell. It's a shame that this wasn't explained more explicitly within the actual movie as it would have made the storytelling a lot cleaner and provides context for why Magenta was so obsessed about Cell Max. The only question remaining that conflicts with OG Cell is whether or not Magenta knew what each form of Cell looked like without actually seeing them in person, but that's more tied to Toriyama wanting to reuse his favorite Cell form more than anything else.
It looked like he had Dr. Gero's documents and blueprints, that's most likely why he knew about the other forms. Magenta outright states that Cell was too complicated for him to replicate and that's why they got Dr. Hedo.
when adding finishing touches to the movie polishing up a few frames of animation because of the delay they must of forgot to add that part in or it was already too late because the movie was already 100% complet by then

Goku was relative to Jiren at the TOP with the first level of UI. They’ve gotten so much stronger since then. So to say they’re underwhelmed right now is actually speaking to how strong Jiren was 3 arcs ago

Regarding the Jiren stuff. I think Toei just really hyped him up in the anime and maybe some of it wasn't what Toriyama intended.

I agree. Although beerus still have feats that Trump jiren. Annihilating a spirit, destroying a sun and planet by sneezing, managed to destroy a planet using a raindrop of ki, facing of against 12 other GoDs in a match, just by light sparring with his brother champa almost destroyed both universes. He is on another level than people give him credit for.

Gods of Destruction seem to vary vastly in terms of power. Jiren may be stronger than a couple of them, including his own, but not the more powerful ones, including Beerus.

To be honest, Piccolo should have God Ki now because he fused with Kami. After the introduction of Beerus, they have retcon that all deity in DB such as Kai's and also Dende possesed God Ki. With this retcon, that mean Kami has it too and now Piccolo should have it.

@@Nikketmzee but it isn't. The problem is we use goku and vegeta as benchmarks when in reality it should be whis and beerus. God ki is more potent and you need more control to hone it properly. Goku and Vegeta are still in the process of changing their mental way of fighting to achieve new heights and so there are more levels to it than just power.
@@Thecor13 it is definitely overrated you just padding the damage by using head canon that will never be touched because this show is not deep, especially Super. Also I’m talking in the sense of how it was introduced to us, back then everyone thought in order to fight a god you needed god ki, and even beerus implied that, then frieza suddenly trained and reached god level with regular ki, then hit, then, jiren and so on and so forth. That’s how it’s overrated, we were lead to believe you needed god ki to hang with the “big boys”.
@@Nikketmzee first of where is the headcanon I stated? I said your looking at it in the perspective of humans having God ki and not divine beings like whis and beerus. Their statement is not wrong as we have not seen a mortal harm beerus, the closest we have seen him flinched involved god ki. Again they have stated numerous times that if goku and vegeta master their weaknesses they would be unbeatable and be a match for beerus. We see goku and vegeta have been struggling to maintain thier quality of life forms like UE and UI so anyone higher than that would have a hard time. Finally just because goku and vegeta utilize God ki and has more control over it doesn't make them in another realm to powerful fighters like hit, jiren, frieza, and broly because again they are mortal and have not mastered ki like those mentioned above save for broly who is just broken. God ki still has more depth to it. Goku body is becoming more God like with the usage of God ki and God techniques like Ui just like dende stated in the moro arc. The problem is you can't please people in this day and age because everyone complains to much. If you don't like it that much don't watch it.
I had a feeling that Android 21 is not canon because her cameo appearance doesn't make her canon because she was added for an easter egg to anyone who play fighterz, heroes and xenoverse 2 with her
Oh well that explains how Magenta knew so much about the androids and Cell, it really made me question why he knew so much. But even with that it still seems Magenta probably gathered his own data for himself without sharing it with Dr Gero for example the recording he has of the Mecha Freeza and Future Trunks fight. I was speculating so much because it was weird that Dr Gero didn’t know about Future Trunks as my theory was that Magenta may have been spying on Dr Gero.
Heck so could Cell have actually been Magenta’s idea all along seeing as he was so obsessed with him?
They really need to step their game up when it comes storytelling so many awesome concepts they can use and they keep doing the same things over and over again. I love gohan and piccolos new forms but the no explanation drives me crazy
Random power ups with no explanation is nothing new in dragon ball, the original super Saiyan was random and didn't get much explanation besides a legend, so is the super Saiyan 2 transformation and even ssj 3.

The SS2 and SS3 is the evolved state while SS4 is the ultimate potential of this Saiyan combine their warrior and great ape power. During this time, it was acceptable and fine. But now after DBS happen, they literally just recycle the same troop, stronger form and change hair color, no explanation at all. God Ki is seriously just Toriyama excuse to make them sound stronger. They don't even explain why Saiyan can achieve God Ki by doing ritual with 5 other Saiyan. Like how and why this ritual can give birth to God Ki for Saiyan??? Saiyan is a mortal being as far as we know. Unless Toriyama retcon that Saiyan was a God descendant, this can be acceptable, but no. As of now, every form introduce is just for the sake of the character keep getting stronger and more toys to sell, that all.
@@shawziiz5031 well any transformation can be self explained like that, ssj was never a Saiyan true power, that was the well established oozaruu transformation, there was no hint, lore or explanation on why a Saiyan changes hair and eye colour, SSJ 2 is just SSJ but spikier with electricity no explanation no hint, three was even more out of nowhere, longer hair disappearing eye brows.
It's dragon ball, transformations explanation, lore and even naming conventions ("super" Saiyan, 2, 3, blue) have never been that complexe.
@@shawziiz5031 no ss2 has no real explanation for anything other than ascension of ss. How do the s cells make the body change? How does it respond because before super we had no knowledge of s cells but even so they win for losing when it comes to appease fans. The god ki ritual explained it takes pure hearted sayians in which that was rare entirely so that checks out. We don't need elaborate explanations because dragon ball was never about that. Ssgss or ssb is simple: God ki usage going into super sayain. Ssbe vegeta, surpassing the limits of ssb, kaioken ssb: having the calm control of God ki to allow the kai technique to not make the heart explode while stacking with Ss. How did goku regrow his tail? How did he actual master his oozaru state to go into ss4? What happened to the feral drawback? Point blank, watch the series because you love it and if you love it you accept its imperfections.
@@groupgmz1320 You don't get it. Like I said back in the old days it was fine like that. SS was hint to be Saiyan true power at that time, Vegeta literally hype about this during Namek saga. This is enough for lore content at that time. Why SS has golden hair, that was the very first form so it fine without any explanation. I repeat again, at that time it was fine. As for SS2 and SS3, this two form don't need much explanation because like I said it was basically an evolved state for SS form. It was make sense to explain like this because SS2 and SS3 does look like upgrade for the original SS. Unlike nowadays where all form just pop up new hair color. This is the problem now. They should make Goku God power to be red while Vegeta God power to be blue. If they do this, people can get a self explanation that God Ki will mutated Saiyan SS form unique to each other. But sadly Toriyama doesn't know how to explain stuff. So just throw randomly any color he want and state the character is stronger now

I wonder exactly how powerful is Final Gohan and Orange Piccolo.
As much as i love gohan he's probably still #3 and piccolo #4 i just think they shortened the gap by large amount.
Final Gohan is roughly MUI/UE tier in power, but weaker in practice because no Hax (and Gohan lacks skill in comparison as well.)
Orange Piccolo is Blue Evolution tier (while Yellow Piccolo is right there with Ultimate sitting at Blue Tier)
What are you even basing that on? Especially when the movie was written even before Moro.
@@Ramona122003 doesn't matter when they fit into the timeline before this movie. Hence why goku and vegeta were told to not use ki or forms in this fight. I'm guessing because of hakai and the new forms.

I really really hope that this movie gets adapted by the manga and the anime because I feel like the story just doesn't hit well when it's crunched in a movie format.
We probably will see like a page at the end of this arc telling us too se what happens next watch the movie then the new arc this year will come after movie.
@@godslayer8894 I think the manga team should adapt it and flesh it out as well as add some of the Grittiness that the manga is more known for compared to the anime and make the stakes feel more close to the cell portion of the android saga.

Theory:
- Orange piccolo is like super sayian
- Orange piccolo is Piccolo receiving the powers of the dragon. Orange could then be referring to the dragon balls
- Cell Max was supposed to eat Android #1 and #2 to become stronger than Meerus (the initial angel of Beerus)
I understand what vegeta is saying. Jiren wasn't tired and when they finally shook him and got him tired they were in the fight.

NAME OF GOHANS FINAL FORM SHOULD BE MYSTIC GOD GOHAN
You know, something that really ticks me is how massive Dragon Ball, in fact the 12th most profitable franchise and yet they don't do spin-offs (specials, manga, anime or etc.) of the countless character they have introduced in their last anime arc. Because Goku and Vegeta have the main focus but they can always retain that attention while giving other characters the spotlight in their own series. And as a Gohan since my first introduction to Dragon Ball Z Kai, the movie was honestly a full course meal to me (get it since fans 'eat well').
Here's my list of characters/groups that deserve their own spin-offs;
-Bardock and the Saiyans (show centered around mainly the Bardock, King Vegeta and along with showing how the Saiyans were in a deeper level before Frieza killed them)
-Pride Troopers (very interesting and fun squad)
-Hit: Millennium Assassin (dudes 1000 years old and cool asf)
-Planet Sadala (Universe 6)
-Yamoshi (can be a limited animated series diving deep on him and how he came to as the legend he is today)
-What if...Dragon Ball (INFINITE POSSIBLITIES!!!!!)
-Goten & Trunks (they used fusion too much and need to realize they must grow on their own + they didn't get as much screentime recently)
I have plenty of other ideas as such as Broly and Jiren, but Geekdom101 let me know your take on this and take care!
That would be nice, heck we have 10 other universes which could provide amazing content.

Dokkan, Legends, and even FighterZ still call Blue Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan or SSGSS for short. Blue is just a nickname.
The Spanish localization of XenoVerse 2 calls it Blue... And characters call it Super Saiyan Blue in the English dub of XenoVerse 2.
Which is dumb at this point to be honest. I feel like the game dev decided to keep use that mouthful name for the sake of honoring Toriyama since that long ass name was his idea. Toyotaro came up with the "Blue" name on manga (he literally wrote Goku and Vegeta make fun of how silly SSGSS name is) and Toei agree with the name and use it as an official name for the form in anime. Funny is, in Xenoverse 2 while they use SSGSS, but the variation of Goku use Kaioken, they name it as Super Saiyan Blue Kaioken instead of SSGSS Kaioken.
@@shawziiz5031 Actually... The making fun of the original name for Super Saiyan Blue came from the movie Resurrection F. When Goku explained to Frieza the nature of his first form the latter then remarks how the name sounds like a tongue twister. The Manga did not had that remark because it straight up skipped the Resurrection F.

Just as Goku and Vegeta continue to train and get stronger the same is true for Jiren. He is still the goal post until they actually fight again and Goku and Vegeta achieve an undisputable win. It's not as if Jiren retired from fighting and he's going to get lapped. He's still working with the pride troopers and training when possible until we're told otherwise. Vegeta's statement took nothing away from Jiren.
Jiren was able to use his Ki 100% and leak none, whereas Goku and Vegeta had immense power but didnt utilize it efficiently. Dont forget in the Anime Goku and Vegeta was able to connect Jiren several times
True its just crazy how they displayed Jiren and how effortlessly he took out goku and vegeta and tanking their attacks head on barely taking damage. It hard to believe he was only a little bit stronger than them lol
Goku hasn't mastered SS3 that's the key.. They get transformations and never master them

Jiren lost to silver ui goku after in a fit of anger breaking his limits unleashing even more raw power. There was nothing calm about jiren during his entire exchange with silver ui goku. And he was wakened to the point where ssj goku and non golden frieza could overpower him together. Despite still being in his powered up form.
That was literally at the last exchange otherwise up until that point he was more than in control.
So this final gohan or Ultimate Rage Gohan reminds me of baby gohan when he sent garlic jr to the dead zone same red eyes.... Same rage
Orange Piccolo seems more like ssj4 than normal ssj, in terms of fully returning to his roots

First they need to explain when and how goku can maintain ss3 when it was supposed to come at a cost. Dragon ball never did to much explaining.

Magenta's back story makes no sense as the Red Ribbon army was already working on androids before the events of OG Dragonball. Android 8 and Major Metallitron are androids made by the R&R army built by Dr flappy and presumably Dr Gero.
All it said is he funded dr. Geros experiments on the androids in the android saga, magenta is also the grandson of the Red Ribbon leader and he isn't young.

I can't wait to see how the manga incorporates eventually the events of this movie and how the Moro and Grenolah arcs and the Broly and Super Hero movies are adapted into the anime when it eventually comes back. Hopefully when DBS finally goes beyond the end of DBZ, Android, 21 is one of the main villains. Maybe the first or the second after 73 comes back. Maybe another multiversal tournament could be fine and then the Tuffles could try to get their revenge on the Saiyans (Hatchiyack/Baby), Tapion could be reinvented and finally the Shadow Dragons to end the series. Whatever network anywhere in the world with DBS on their programming could immediately start back with the OG Dragon Ball then Z, then Super and they'd have enough material for maybe two years with 5 episodes per week.
well the moro arc came 30 seconds after the broly movie and granola arc took place after moro arc and the granola arc took place 2 years after the super hero arc

Pretty sure , the manga will just mention the events and thats it , if they have already plans for a brand new arc and also Broly and Super Hero should not be made in TV format again ,i personally would not want that. The other movies made sense bc they were still DBZ movies not Super , they should just start with the Moro arc when the TV show returns .

Reasons why gohan thinks goku and vegeta will struggle against max cell
Reason 1 goku mui earlier in top didn't have enough time to wield mui but he struggle against jiren limit breaker who stronger then him But in combat Jiren limit breaker was adapting to goku mui and learning since then goku had so much trouble that jiren even while weakened was able to fight pretty well against goku and freiza and 17 and vegeta because of the manga
Reason 2 broly kept stronger and faster the longer the fight goes on he in ikari state gave goku perfect blue so much trouble in a fight that when freiza killed paragus goku and vegeta perfect blue could do no damage to him at all that they retreat and needed to fused and it took gogeta perfect blue to defeat lssj broly the level of power and skill broly posses was far greater in ssj ikari state that it exceeded jiren limit breaker current strenght and skills even goku mui and vegeya ultra ego are barely a match against broly ssj ikari but his lssj form was too much that even gogeta perfect blue struggle putting broly down for good however that makes goku mui and vegeta ultra ego and gohan new finel form and cell Max and jiren limit breaker no match for broly lssj at all if cell max were to face him he would of lost completely and would not be able to fight at all
Reason 3 moro gave goku and vegeta a more tougher time compared to jiren even since he had asborbtion abilities he even made goku and vegeta fight him longer then jiren and pushed them to reach new level of power that even took goku mui to defeat moro73 but later after copying meerus power moro become slightly more powerful then goku mui that he on skill combat base was eqaul to goku mui since then it was not an easy fight even goku asborb the god energy bomb in base form to tap into mui gaint spirit to crack morus73 crystal on his forehead but morus73 wasn't as powerful as broly lssj when he took meerus powers who almost scaled on god of destruction so jiren would beat morus73 because he has better ki control then both goku and vegeta when he use the extent of his full power on that attack to goku uio phase 3
Reason 4 granola gave goku perfect blue struggle that his clone was half as strong as the original that goku needed oman to win against granola clone since the mui form was too much for the clone to handle even the original can barely keep up since vegeta ultra ego in skill fought as fast as goku mui from top who force jiren to break his limits
Reason 5 gas goku and vegeta both struggle against gas that goku needed oman to win however since gas new form made goku uio shock in power gap I think there will be more evidence of gas slowly dominated oman but he will eventually lose since he near at his end but he is slightly more powerful then he was previously
Reason 6 cell max was making the z fighters struggle in a fight even Gamma 1 and 2 struggle since then Piccolo orange form was most likely on par with ultra instinct oman and ssbe at this new state and since then max cell kept on growing stronger and lost control since then Gohan was far behind goku and vegeta where they are at but after Piccolo was knock out gohan taps into ssw that he slightly surpasses goku mui and vegeta ultra ego but max cell was no match for gohan new form
Since then it concludes that cell max is no match for goku mui nor vegeta ultra ego but he is a match for goku uio and vegeta ssbe who seems to have very impressive feat on a fight

In one of your videos where you talked about the wishes from the Dragon Balls NOT overpowering Karma, or something like that, how a selfish wish leads to... A bad outcome, more or less, but just... Just a little bit of confirmation, I guess you could say, Moro DID *NOT* Make the wish to get his magic power back, Cranberry did, and Monito made the wish FOR Bardock, and Elec made the wish FOR Gas, so these individuals did not make the wishes themselves, someone else made it for them, so how would this apply to the whole Karma thing with the wishes from the Dragon Balls ? Can you explain that for me, please ?
Karma links and binds all things involved in any given thing.
Someone else making the wish could absorb a bit of the backlash but the recipient receives the majority of it

It took everything U7 had to defeat Jiren even after MUI Goku destroyed him. He got back up and still fought against android 17, frieza ans Goku there's nothing they can say to take away from his strength. Also we witnessed both full powered goku and vegeta going at Jiren at the same time with 17 and they still had nothing on him.

I want Gohan to be the strongest of the fighters of Universe 7, but I want him to more or less remain Earth's protector while Goku and Vegeta to roam the universe in the search to become stronger. BUT a Ultra Ego Vegeta, Ultra Instinct Goku, And whatever the name of this transformation Gohan this is as a trio to take down a big bad would be mythic!!

In regards to Android 21. She's more similar to Android 17 and Android 18, which means Android 21 is the cyborg version of Vomi. With that being said. I think her human version (before the cyborg modification) is canon. It's diferent from Android 16 cause he's a full Android made from zero with mechanical parts, while Android 17, 18 and 21 are not. In FighterZ you can see in the story that Android 21 made Android 16.
I can see the issue with that Jiren statement. Saying that Jiren wasn't that far beyond them or that powerful, not only waters Jiren down, but also reduces the progress BOTH Goku & Vegeta have made. Crazy thing is, this is probably a true retcon, since it also supports the idea of making Gohan & Piccolo surpassing Goku & Vegeta more believable.

Picollo's new Form was kind of hinted at early in the film. When Gohan showed Picollo the new species of ant they discovered that when pushed to it's limits of survival transforms into a Golden Version. It was a slight nod at Picollo in my opinion. Because Picollo was not interested at all in this ant, but at the same time, Picollo was in dire need to be pushed himself as well. He always focus' on Gohan, but he needed the boost too. So to me the ant early on was an acknowledgement of what's to come later in the film.
