If you go to their gray bible look up in Acts on the gray area you will see in Acts 15, they fitted the word GB on that verse.

The JWs aren't assuming that Acts 15 proves the GB is valid. They FORCING the issue because they need a way to prove there has always been a GB. Once again, they're not basing doctrine on scripture, but interpreting scripture to justify doctrine.

I agree with the summation but the getting there is tricky as JWs do have leaders within the congregation they expect you to follow. Elders and ministerial servants and pioneers are the JW parallel to the deacons and teachers you reference.
It seems to me that the legitimacy of the GB would depend on three things where Matt 24 is concerned. If any of the three fails, so does their claim.
1. That the passage is a prophesy, not a parable. I don't think the context supports this.
2. That the prophesied event has occurred. They assume it has, but I have yet to see compelling evidence thereof.
3. Lastly, that THEY are the only possible choice for that appointed slave. I haven't seen any real support for that claim, either.
And that still leaves the question of how many times God made that appointment. After all, hasn't the definition of the "slave" changed?

Great video my friend. What is your take on the great apostasy that Paul warned about? The JWs and the Mormons believe that basically as soon as Jesus’ apostles died, Christianity went into paganism for 1800 years until the mormons and witnesses came along to restore pure Christianity as it was originally and to restore worship once again. Can you clear this point up in a video by any chance?
Ohhh! This is actually my next video after the one I’m releasing this week. Concerning the “great apostasy” what Paul talks about, the context, the promises etc. All modern false faith use this argument, but I’ll be approaching from the JW angle. Hopefully I’ll have it out a week from Wednesday.

If a man boasts that 'no prison bars will hold him' he FIRST has to go to prison to prove it.
The True Christian Congregation went down to Hades (the Grave, Hell - KJV). That means it ceased to exist after the death of the apostles. Satan took over and the rest is history.
But as Jesus promised, the grave (Gr Hades) will not prevail. It will be RESTORED.
It was promised to be restored only in the last days. Read the prophecy of Micah 4:1-5.
By implication, it would mean that neither the RCC or its breakaways practiced any true worship. Else, what was God going to restore?
(Matthew 24:31) And he will send out his angels with a great trumpet sound, and they will gather HIS CHOSEN ONES TOGETHER from the four winds, from one extremity of the heavens to their other extremity.
No guesswork needed to recognize that the remnant of Jesus' chosen ones are only found among JWs.

Yes, for note what the apostle Peter wrote to the Christians scattered about in what is now modern day Turkey: "Therefore, as a fellow elder, a witness of the sufferings of the Christ and a sharer of the glory that is to be revealed, I make this appeal to the elders among you: Shepherd the flock of God under your care, serving as overseers, not under compulsion, but willingly before God; not for love of dishonest gain, but eagerly; not lording it over those who are God’s inheritance, but becoming examples to the flock."(1 Pet 5:1-3)
Thus the 1st century "governing body" consisted of elders, whereby some were apostles while others were just men who qualified as elders (such as James, Jesus half-brother, whom the apostle Paul spoke of as a ' pillar ' of the Christian congregation at Gal 2:9), charged with overseeing the Christian congregations, providing spiritual food and direction.(Note: the James Paul spoke of could not be the apostle James, for the apostle James was put to death at the order of Herod Agrippa I in about 44 C.E., as seen at Acts 12:1, 2, while Paul wrote to the Galatians in about 50-52 C.E.)

Might be good to read Jesus' words of his promised APPOINTMENT of a special group to dispense spiritual truths at the proper time. Matthew 24:45-47.

@@tongakhan230 How do you read your BIBLE? Do you understand what you read, please!!! Mt 24:45-47 is a parable, a story, an example to illustrates how a Christian or follower of Jesus should live. There is no creation of a group of leaders here. If you take this literally you will understand that the so called slaves of the governing body will be destroyed and put with the hypocrite ( Mt. 24:51) as they distort the truth and are lying to their members covering up abuses and abusers instead of humbly admitting the TRUTH.

Take a dictionary and check what Parable means.
If Jesus were to give a parable, the record would starts with: 'He spoke another illustration....."
There is still time to qualify as a survivor of the coming war of change - Revelation 7:9,10,14.

Definition of PARABLE: " A parable is a succinct, didactic story, in prose or verse, that illustrates one or more instructive lessons or principles. It differs from a fable in that fables employ animals, plants, inanimate objects, or forces of nature as characters, whereas parables have human characters".
If you take a parable as a true historical event, then HELL exists.Lk. 16:19-31.

I was a JW then I studied the Bible seriously as the TRUE word of God and not the words of the governing body. They show great ignorance and contempt for the word of Jehovah .Mt. 7:6; Rom. 2:4; 2Pt. 3:3

What is the role of a governing body?
A governing body is the group of people given the power and authority to form the policy and steer the overall direction of an organisation.
Governing body is a group of people who governs the organisation (Christian congregation, Christ's Body).
Which organ governs the body?
The Head governs the body, so governing body is taking the role of Christ as Head of the Congregation, which is given directly from the Father to Jesus.
" the Christ is head of the congregation, he being a savior of this body". (Ephesians 5:23)
" Jesus approached and spoke to them, saying: “All authority has been given me in heaven and on the earth". (Matthew 28:18)

@@wenyewentworth1896 in Greek, which is what the sign was written in, or Latin, would be Ἰησοῦν, which is pronounced Iesous, which in Aramaic would be Yeshua, English Jesus. Jesus doesn’t care what name you use to call on him, just that it’s the same person of Scripture, God incarnate who died and rose again for the sins of the World.

Jesus promised to appoint a faithful servant after his return in 1914. This promise of Jesus is given at Matthew 24:45-47.
Unless Jesus' promise misfired, we must accept that his APPOINTEE exists.
If it not the GB of JWs it must be found in ONE UNITED BROTHERHOOD of Jesus' disciples.
When I last checked, no such group other than JWs fulfill the signatures.
Jesus never said any of that. He never said he would appoint a slave. That’s men telling you scripture is about them. That’s called self fulfillment and it’s what false teachers do. JW’s leaders demote Christ, remove his deity and promote themselves as essential for salvation. Watch my video on 1914, and tell me what you think.

The counting of years happened AFTER Jesus came and went. Thus, the 1914 will not appear anywhere in prophecy.
But the calculation of it is.

Seven times would pass from the last King of Judah until Jesus is appointed King.
The last King Zedekiah in Jerusalem representing Jehovah's rulership was disposed by the Babylonians in 607 B.C.E.
If we count 7 times which is 7 x 360 = 2,520 and take a year for a day rule (Numbers 14:34) we arrive at the year 1914 C.E.
(There is no year ZERO).
Since we cannot see what happens in heaven, Jesus gave a sign that would occur on earth to let his disciples know that he has been made King of God's Kingdom.
Matthew 24:7 “For nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom,
Historians call it the FIRST WORLD WAR (1914 - 18).
Then Jesus APPOINTS his faithful slave (Matthew 24:45-47) and the rest is history.

That dream that king Nebuchadnezzar had of the tree that was chopped down was about king Nebuchadnezzar and Daniel had given the interpretation of that dream and he said that all those things came upon the king the prophecy was fulfilled . Also Daniel never said anything about a second or greater fulfilment . There is nothing written in scripture about Jesus starting to rule as king in heaven in the year 1914 . That is a false teaching of the men of the watchtower and governing body who have gotten things time after time after time . They are putting forth their own made up ideas

There is nothing written in the scripture that says seven times would pass from the last king until Jesus started ruling . Their 607 date is wrong their is overwhelming evidence and facts that show that it was 587 .
