Trinitarians do in fact preach a different Jesus than the apostles and all other early Christians. Explicit texts that essentially act as the earliest creedal statements clearly teach there is “one God the Father” not “one God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit”.-1 Cor. 8:4-6, Eph. 4:4-6 The creator of this video asked an important question which basically was, “What does it mean to be a Christian?” To be a follower of Christ is to imitate his example in all things, right? So then the most poignant question we could ask is, “Who did Jesus worship as his God?” Again, we know it was the Father alone based on his conversation with the Samaritan woman. He didn’t worship himself nor did he worship the HS. So if you’re Christian and you are worshipping anyone other than the Father alone in the ultimate sense of the word (Jesus and his followers are also “worshipped” to an extent) then you have no claim to Christianity. as i jw i want to awnser / clarify the questions you mention. 1. The new testament in greek makes no mention of YHWH apart from John mentioning Jah a couple of times in revelation. In the old testament however God makes it very clear that his name wants to be spoken, my explanation for no mentions of this name in greek scriptures, is that since God has put leadership/ kingship in the hands of jesus christ, god didnt feel the need to accentuate his name here. For me its very logical that jesus called jehovah father since we dont call our fathers by our first name either. 2. I cant speak to jesus directly so the only way of knowing the gb are the annoited is by faith, that being said let me counter the question by asking. Doesnt every religious leader believe they are directly insipred by god? Every religious leader/leaders will make decicions and will claim they did this in accordance with god. Otherwise they would be man made rules. 3. I believe jesus has paid for my sins 4. Yes the org has made mistakes

I'm a former JW. The JWs DO NOT teach that apostate Christians removed the name of God. They believe that the name of God became so sacred that many early scribes felt that it was so sacred, that they should not verbally even speak it.

I was once told by a Jw I'd make a good Jw. I repied but I am one. He looked shocked when I said that, but before he could respond I followed by saying I am a witness for Jehova, but not like you people. I believe in a risen savior Jesus, and without him dying on the cross and His resurrection I'd still be lost. He had no comeback for that.

I quite by accident asked them if they wanted to come in a celebrate Jesus's birthday with us my family one Christmas day back the late 90's. They looked shocked, declined and scampered away. Never saw them again. 😊

After leaving, Armageddon was a huge hurdle for me! I thought about it every day.. ugh UNTIL I learned that Armageddon is only mentioned 1 time in Revelation & it’s not talking about our destruction, but rather the destruction of Jerusalem! I’ve been shunned for 30 years but look at it now as a blessing.. it kept me from being pulled back in by them, gave me time to deprogram & learn about a world I knew very little about! The JWs have a major problem claiming they don't believe in a cross because it is a pagan symbol. A single wooden post stuck in the ground is possibly the most prolific pagan symbol that ever existed. Have they not heard of totem poles, maypoles, Asherah poles, etc?

That jw started out optimistc, but then ended up talking over and not answering questions. I just had 3 at my door. I ask questions, they evaded. Jesus prayed to the Father. He (Jesus) is whose example we're to follow, so it makes sense to me that I'm to pay to the Father in Christ's name.

Unitarians and bitarians also use the Bible to prove their point. Until we have more evidence than just the Bible, we're going to continue having these debates, and the issue will remain unsettled, at least from an appeal to the Bible. These debates have been had at least since 200AD, if not sooner. We're just going round and round. It's exhausting. It may not be until the "Restoration of all things" that the issue is put to bed once and for all.

Not too mention that you should also give them your money if you join them. They're not as insistant as the Mormons who must tithe 10% of their income to the Church I've heard, but you are supposed to donate what you can, and of course if you're rich then you would expected to give a lot. Women do not enjoy high status in the JWs. Like all the Monotheistic Religions she is for Childbearing and Home duties mostly. They are just like other Religions, they are better than anyone else and only they will be saved. It is a spiritual arrogance, there are a lot of good People in their Church but they're no better than any other Christian Church.

Why even answer the phone call? Why even agree to meet with the elders? If not committing a sin, (ie: immoral, drunk, drugs, murder, lying . . . any sins directly mentioned in the bible), then what have you done wrong? Ask the elders to show you in the bible where it says its a sin to disagree with the Organization/GB? Actually-ask them where in the bible are the words Organization or GB? If they say the charge is for apostasy, reply that you still believe and have faith in God, Jesus and the bible. Salvation is not through an organization, or a group of men, especially ones who have made many errors affecting millions of lives for over 120 years. Then quote them Ps 146:3, Acts 4:12, John 14:6.

Jehovah witness do believe in a soul, but that you need a body to be consciouse. Jesus said that the dead are not consciouse, he also said about a dead girl that she was sleeping. The bible has different words that all are translated to the word hell. They dont have to be all the same. Jehovah witness are different from christianity? saying in some way they are not christians according to this video? Because they have different teachings? Then according to this logic the catholics can say the same thing to the protestants? The bible of the Jehovah witness is not a whole lot different then any other bible. They have their own translation, sometimes it may come down on what a religion believe and how they translate bible versus, John 1:1 for example. most bible will translate that the word (Jesus) was god. But Jehovah witness have the word was a god.. This has to do that the word ¨a¨ does not exist in the old Greek language and Jehovah witness dont believe that Jesus is god.
