Jesus said in John's Gospel those who follow my teaching will be saved and those who don't are already condemned. Jehovah's Witnesses do not have any assurance of salvation. The whole idea of being a Christian is to be with Jesus in heaven and not an Earthly paradise as they believe. Can Jesus be in an earthly paradise and heavenly paradise can there be both?. I don't believe so and not any true Christians believe also. In my Fathers, there are many rooms, and when I come back I will take you there to be with me in heaven.
After researching myself and just reading the Bible without watchtower publications many, many untruth were told to us, I am 61 years old finally woke up can't return once your eyes been open, yes The Holy spirit will help us learn and guide us by asking for it in Christ name, this is what I did and is still doing!! When I was a JW going to the meetings , I used to question the mindset of those men, who was making the decisions that we had to live by. They neither went to work or had to look after a family. They lived in an Ivory tower where everything was done for them Neither do I think they lived a life of poverty. Their behaviour is far removed from that of Jesus, and quite frankly I doubt they would have been chosen by Jesus to lead His sheep. "By their fruit you will recognise them," and these men behave more like board members, of a large multinational company and their main job is to look after the bottom line.

Barry, a few years ago, I was in a discount store owned by Jews, but not restricted to to only Jews. While I was there, a man came in with his two young children, and everything they said to him was always preceded by: “Abba.” I mean they just kept saying: “Abba can we have this.”? “Abba can we have that.”? You know, I've never been a JW but I'm slowly learning a lot about them that I find most unacceptable. Am I right in thinking (this 'faithful slave' thing) actually means that mankind is basically much too stupid to understand the word of God and so we shouldn't read the bible, because we're not clever enough. What we SHOULD do, if we want to be counted as 'One of God's chosen people' is read the Watchtower Society's horribly watered down and badly written excuse for a bible and then go on to believe EVERYTHING we're told by a bunch of over fed, richly dressed old men who talk down to everyone, and tell wicked lies about child sex abuse? Nita Abrehart, definitely pick up your bible and read Galations, Ephesians, Philippians and Colossians to start. They are not long books. Know that these books were written to you and about you so these are the truths that we are to believe rather than Watchtower lies. Pray to God from your heart and the Holy Spirit will interpret it for you the right way so there are no worries! End your prayer "in Jesus' name" because He is our mediator.

I find your videos interesting from an Orthodox Christian point of view as it sheds light on the whole Western tradition that developed over the last 1000 years. For us we see that the West has strayed very far from the first 1000 years of Christianity that represented one Faith (the Orthodox), one Body (the Church), and one Lord (Jesus Christ). The West first authorises certain writings as its authoritative inspired Source, and then authorises who can interpret that Source. How it was in both East and West in the first 1000 years is as follows: 1. Jesus Christ is the Word of God, who reveals and carries out God's will on earth, and he is physically resurrected from the dead and alive with us till he visibly appears again. 2. The Apostles (the 12, the 70 and St Paul) are the ordained messengers of Christ, preaching the Gospel and leading the Church in God's will. 3. The Holy Spirit, who proceeds from the Father, is the Comforter that dwells in the Church and guides the Church into all truth concerning God and salvation. 4. The Church is the body of Christ, who is its head, and all the faithful believers who have been united with Christ through the Apostles by the Holy Spirit. When the Apostles physically reposed in the Lord they remained alive with us in their spirits by the Holy Spirit, and their successors bishops, presbyters and deacons continued their ministry in the Church. There was no single Church organization in the world as each Province had its own synod of bishops that governed itself, yet the Church remained one Body with one Faith and one Lord throughout the world. The faithful believers and the leaders were jointly responsible for preserving the teachings of the Apostles and passing them down to the next generation. It is the body of Christ maintaining its unity with the head, who is Christ. The West has lost this.

You know, I've never been a JW but I'm slowly learning a lot about them that I find most unacceptable. I’m not sure if this very pretty young lady reads these comments, she may have a friend that does? Please tell her that her relationship with Jehovah is and her hope in Jesus is private, no one can question her faith. Know that these books were written to you and about you so these are the truths that we are to believe rather than Watchtower lies. Pray to God from your heart and the Holy Spirit will interpret it for you the right way so there are no worries! End your prayer "in Jesus' name" because He is our mediator.

Jesus taught that the Holy Spirit would teach. The bible stated that to deny the Holy Spirit is a blaspheme against the spirit and that there is no forgiveness. I find your videos interesting from an Orthodox Christian point of view as it sheds light on the whole Western tradition that developed over the last 1000 years.
For us we see that the West has strayed very far from the first 1000 years of Christianity that represented one Faith (the Orthodox), one Body (the Church), and one Lord (Jesus Christ).
The West first authorises certain writings as its authoritative inspired Source, and then authorises who can interpret that Source.
How it was in both East and West in the first 1000 years is as follows:
1. Jesus Christ is the Word of God, who reveals and carries out God's will on earth, and he is physically resurrected from the dead and alive with us till he visibly appears again.
2. The Apostles (the 12, the 70 and St Paul) are the ordained messengers of Christ, preaching the Gospel and leading the Church in God's will.
3. The Holy Spirit, who proceeds from the Father, is the Comforter that dwells in the Church and guides the Church into all truth concerning God and salvation.
4. The Church is the body of Christ, who is its head, and all the faithful believers who have been united with Christ through the Apostles by the Holy Spirit.
When the Apostles physically reposed in the Lord they remained alive with us in their spirits by the Holy Spirit, and their successors bishops, presbyters and deacons continued their ministry in the Church.
There was no single Church organization in the world as each Province had its own synod of bishops that governed itself, yet the Church remained one Body with one Faith and one Lord throughout the world.
The faithful believers and the leaders were jointly responsible for preserving the teachings of the Apostles and passing them down to the next generation.
When questions or disputes arose that affected the Church, then councils were held in the places where the problems arose, and universal councils were held where the issues affected the whole Church.
The councils were accepted as manifesting God's will on earth by the witness of the Holy Spirit in the hearts of the believers as they endeavoured to love God with all their being and their neighbours as themselves.
Christ manifests his will in the community of his disciples when they love one another in God and the truth handed down from the Apostles.
That is how the Faith and the Church were preserved without an organization based in a certain city to rule it all and without a fixed canon of Scriptures.
The Bible was only finalised and put together hundreds of years after the Apostles. Both the oral and written teachings of the Apostles and the councils of the Church manifest the will of God on earth.
How do we accept a council as representing God's will? Every faithful member of the Church must decide by the Holy Spirit whether the council remains faithful to the teachings of Christ handed down.
How do we interpret Scripture? We maintain the same mindset as those who handed the Scriptures down beginning with the Apostles and their faithful successors.
This is love. It is the body of Christ maintaining its unity with the head, who is Christ. The West has lost this.
