There's a shooting gallery at Knoebels Amusement Resort in Pennsylvania!
Heck yeah, Knoebels is the best!
Mike always cracks me up giving Ryan business about stuff like the table.
Ryan made a great point; my son stopped playing Fortnite when he realized the $100 he spent the year before didn’t matter anymore.
I liked the story about your Son and his Grandfather making train sets.
"I don't like superheroes" you can still see the shock when he retells it. "I like cars and trucks..." atta boy!!!!
I love Wild Arms, particularly for a "pick up and play" arcade-type game to spend a little time. The music is incredibly good, the graphics looks amazing, the sci-fi-western theme is a step beyond. Natsume Atari or whomever has just been on fire between Wild Guns Reloaded, Ninja Warriors Returns, and Pocky & Rocky Reshrined. Extremely smart decisions being made there.
Shooting gallery's often in bass pro shops or Cabela's
The reason the UI in Wild Guns has a logo that takes up most of the screen is because when you play 2 player it's the second players UI
Mike: "it doesn't have to be that old, how about a Barclay, a character from a 30 year old TV show" 🤣 ... I love you man, you're such a Boomer.
Why the fuck isn’t Jabberjaw in Fortnite? HUH
@@mikematei that is a deep cut. I'd like to see The Snorks.
Goddamn.. it ended 28 years ago, but yeah. That reference is about 30 years old. I’m a couple years younger than Ryan and Mike, but I watched a lot of next generation and this is making me feel old 👴🏻
"Cabal shooters" like Wild Guns are great. I wish there were more of them. Nam 1975 on Neo Geo is one of the better ones.
I did a video of NAM-1975 recently, but it's not public yet. Will be soon.
I live in branson, MO and there is a shooting gallery at silver dollar city
There is an old west one and a few rides that you go on with a shooting gallery in them
Finally taking about my favorite game of all time. Wild Guns.
They way y'all are talking about Fortnite, I had to keep checking the date of this video. 😆
I thought this was years old.
Game sucks so bad.
Wake me up when they put Heathcliff in Fortnite...
Mike: I am not a huge superhero guy.
Also Mike, 15 mins later: What if there was a Batman shooting gallery?
Isn’t there a Batman NES game where he has a gun? I would be shocked if there isn’t. The kind of thing they did back then. Lol
I thought that said Wild Arms for a second! I had fun with that PS1 game. The intro was amazing for the time.
Bro not seen Ryan in ages, looking healthy, and a potential next Crow
By the way Ryan there are a lot more than 2 Wild Arms but they get bad after a while I recommend stopping after 3
Mike, I think Cedar Point still has a couple of shooting galleries. Suppose to be one in a small arcade at frontier town.
Every talk about games episode has a part where Mike says something like “people think this about me, but I’m actually this!” 😂
We needed more wild guns! Dude, Nintendo should of made wild guns compatible w the snes mouse (to move crosshairs and shoot/bomb)🐁. Left hand on the d-pad to control the character (as an option!) 😎
Shooting gallery in Wisconsin dell’s downtown.
Chicago has one at dave an busters.
Pretty sure shooting gallery at six flags in gurnee Illinois
There was a game in the mid 90s, but I used to play at a local theater, I’ve seen the mention of the game Cabal, But the creators of that game actually made an arcade game called Blood Brothers, Which came out years before wild guns and I’m assuming that they may have taken alot of references from that game.
I believe we have 2 of the shooting galleries in Oregon. 1 at Enchanted Forest in Salem and 1 at Oaks Park in Portland, though that one may be gone as I haven't been there in a long time to verify that.
Every Bass Pro Shops/Cabela's I have been to has had a shooting gallery in it, though they have often been out of order for some reason or another
theres an arcade in Lake George, New York that still has a old west shooting gallery
This intro, always so good.
In Wild Guns the best way to dodge is just walking back and forth, for most enemies I would just walk one direction from one edge of the screen to the other and repeat. A lot of the time you don't even have to pay attention to enemy bullets that way plus you can keep shooting the whole time and won't be dying from mistimed dodge rolls.
There is a small, Old West-themed shooting gallery in the Palace Playland arcade in Old Orchard Beach, Maine. Not as grand as the one in WDW though. They also have a Daytona USA 😁
Thanks for the show
You two, and that infectious theme song 👊
The elbow in double dragon was the first double button attack I remember.
20:50 I won't be doing that..... Right.... Hahahahah
What is the table being made of ? Is it being sourced out of rare materials? By hand?
No just companies taking forever. Our Lazy Boy couch took a year for us to get. It’s just a leather couch with recliners on each side
@@magdabrownis265 you're not a company owner, though.. just jump in a truck and go pick one up by hand.
@@magdabrownis265 I was joking, I know there’s a backlog
Cocobollo
There’s a little shooting gallery at Playland Arcade in Santa Monica
There is still a Shooting Gallery in Ocean City, Maryland.
We got a bunch of shooting galleries here in las vegas a few of the casinos have em
Yes, I remember one being in a Bass Pro Shop.
Solid episode guys, I used to really enjoy Fortnite very early in the game where it still felt like you had to outshoot your opponents, whereas now it feels like you have to outbuild them, and fights typically boil down to shotgun fights in boxes.
Wild guns is great! I recently just beat the game a couple months ago and enjoyed my playthrough of it. The lasso does have its uses, there are some enemies that get frozen for longer than others, so it's partly figuring out which enemies to use it on. I will say that the final level is a bitch though, most of my playthrough went into that last stage.
Last time I went to Dave and Buster's they had a 1920s mafia themed one. I don't know if they still have it tho, it's been quite a while since I've been there.
I might play Fortnight for if Lieutenant Reginald Barkley was in it.
I played Fortnite for like a week when it originally came out. There’s probably people that never stopped playing it
Amazing how a game as bad as Forknife draws so many people.
I always watch/listen to this show on x1.25 speed, so when I hear it on normal speed you guys sound high as balls.
I thought you could change the dodge to L/R in wild guns? Been a while. (maybe I'm thinking of the ps3 ver)
Wait, you're saying the shooting gallery at Disney world is no cost. If that's true I had no idea I've usually just got felt like spending money on that kind of stuff at that point so I never even looked at it. I'll keep my eyes open next July.
always a treat ryan and mike!!!
Fortnight is the game I can play for 15-30 every other day and it doesn’t get too old. It’s my shooter arcade game and I think a lot of other games fill that gap for people- cod, apex, cs:go etc
I can't think of 2 worse things together than Fortnite and Mike Matei.
"It's weird that they don't split their player base into 20 different lobbies instead of keeping the game fresh and well populated."
My local pumpkin patch has a halloween themed shooting gallery
Unrelated, but I just wanna pronounce Mike Matei the best aged dude on RUclips.
Shhh.... you had me at "fortnight is like megaman".
No, it really isn't.
Shooting galley at Rooster Cogburn Ostrich Ranch in Arizona.
Bass pro shops still has small shooting galleries.
Fortnite has reemerged as an option for me and my 40 yo gamer crew because of the removal of building
big interfaces look pretty
remastered old games in 4k look amazing because now those giant interfaces created by actual artists do not block half the screen. and it saves rendering power, even ancient blocky 2d games were taxing old hardware not just graphics but even ai
populous plays in a tiny window that is also windowboxed and obscured on top of it
You damn wel know Mike has been playing the Saturn talking about Dungeons and Dragons with tower of doom and shadows over mysteria
Old man stuck in his ways… joking but only slightly
"Time to talk about games
played by Ryan and Mike
I want in
...
videogame show
"Yes they talk about games
and sometimes other stuff
like Star Trek
it's a blast
a gaming podcast"
Does anyone get the missing line?
Since they took away building, Fortnite is probably the strongest battle royale out there since H1Z1 and PUBG lost their touch. Apex is up there with being competitive and little to no hackers. Warzone is just broken haha
Fortnite is a great game. I’ve never understood the hate some gamers have for it. Like people despise it and I don’t get it
@@comsense8778 I believe it was because it was mainstream and felt like a big commercial. Everyone didn't give PUBG the respect it deserved at the time. Now Fortnite is better than PUBG since there are little hackers and the skill-wall for building is gone. I like it a lot now too.
Fortnite is such a bad game. There is so much better. Fortnite is a commercialized Walmart baby game.
Well done Justin for buying that overpriced desk on Etsy. No wonder the cinemassacre podcast couldn't make it past 20 shows. Big fan of Ryan and mike though, Wholesome conversations
Who else remembers that Mike was in Board James?
I think some Bass Pro Shops have shooting galleries.
some bass pro shops have free shooting galleries
Yo Mike! There is Robocop 1987 in the Fortnite Store right now!
Fortnite for SNES!
They do have Tim Cook from Apple as a grouchy apple man in it … but that was a onetime skin unfortunately haha
Oh! So as a fellow old(er) timer I finally understand why new movie games and tie-ins and such are no longer coming out.
Like, a new Dr. Strange game, just a quick cash grab style full game made to capitalize on the new film won't be coming out...
Why? It's easier to just throw a skin of Dr. Strange into this new "thing"
Granted those games are usually bad, but there was a Wolverine for 360 from time to time, that's just pretty dang good.
But, lol, I now know just "what" Fortnite even is. Still not interested, thank you. Lol, but this was super informative for me.
Thanks guys, as always. BIG FAN here!
No way Wu Tang is in fortnite are they really?? Haha do they have the same dialogue as the ps1 game?
Play Population One if you want a good VR Fortnite clone.
Fort y just added in original Robocop to the skins to buy
In PUBG, I use to ride out the plane to the very end and let it kick me out and I could pick off a few AFKs
I got bought a steam key for Wild Guns Reloaded off Fanatical a few months back. Tried playing a 2 player game with my brother. We didn't like it very much. Thought it played like ass. Had an expectation that the left stick would move the player and the right stick would the cursor. I remember only picking the dog character. But perhaps we were too harsh. May give the SNES version a go and go back to Reloaded version.
I have played Wild Arms 1 on PS1 and Wild Arms 3 on PS2. Both seemed very good. But I ran into that issue where you are 15 hours into the game and you save before a boss perhaps under powered or under levelled. And the boss kicks your ass. And I can't go back to level up. So I would have to start them all over again. They're among those games where you are pretty much stuck unless you have 2 save files, one for an open area before a dungeon area and one for in the dungeon.
"cabal shooters" should came back i loved cabal really fun game
Where's the fucking table!? The Peehole need to know!!!
FUCK YEAH
13:07 blasphemy!! 😂
Best f***ing show on the internet!
wild guns rules
It's not a lightsaber. It's a psionic mind blade.
I think we need mike matei back in an avgn episode, thoughts?
Mike's actually passionate about gaming so it would help. James should stick to music and short films in my opinion, Do what you love i always say.
Fortnite could have Brandon Heat from GunGrave show up.
There is 5 wild arm games
why not just modify the desk? cut leg space into it?
I was in a hack the movies twitch stream last night and exactly one person in there REALLY did not like Mike, as the Cinemassacre crew came up
Lmao
Oh Hell yea!
Dat Western looking art, of a Japanese SciFi Western game...
Last I knew, a "fortnight" was two weeks.
Mike needs some sun.
As a person who really got into fortnite in his 30’s. I’m really curious what you guys have to say/think about the game.
Most people don’t get why the game is so popular but it’s a combination of 3 factors i believe: 1 the game = FREE. 2 Its Crossplatform. And a unique mechanic we have never seen before in a shooter.
It’s actually Minecraft + Third person shooter. Most likely kids will play it cause Minecraft appeals to kids
I think the graphic style appeals to a younger audience too
Na its just a game ppl like thats it u think too much
@@JC-gv9ik why do people like it so much?
@@CatPhil cuz its a game no reason, or over thinking bout it its just a fun game sooner or later sum1 will come up with a better game and ppl will move on .ITS JUST A FUN GAME 4 NOW
You get this 🔫!!😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I used to be a Founder for Fortnite when it was a zombie horde / save the world y don’t play it since battle royal phase 🤷🏻♂️
A fortnight is two weeks! 14 days!
Awesome
It all sounds like a big fort night commercial…..
I hate when a game doesn't tell me when I play against bots.
i really like the new Trek show 👍 some reviewers "nit-pick" all the plot holes and when the science doesn't add up like they are Neil Degrasse Tyson... most of that goes over my head and i don't catch it. So i am able to enjoy the show, i mostly like that it is "Episodic" and each episode is it's own story ( example i always use for this is the Simpsons ) i have grown tired of these shows where every episode ends in a "cliffhanger" like the last 2 Trek live action shows 😒
oops! if I'd known mike mattei was on this podcast i wouldn't have even clicked, lol
@NostalgiaFox you tried
They did just add robocop...
oh my god like
I love this show fortnite really wtf
Why the reupload?
