Harry, if you want to visit Sanaa /ibb/ the most beautiful cities in Yemen let me know. It really isn’t that hard. & I can’t wait to go back to Yemen. I should be there in February or April. If you would like to go together I’d be more than happy to make it the best trip ever!
I was thinking that too 😂😂 where does the circumcision thing come from and where does he get his facts. Quite ignorant for someone that's visited a lot of Muslim countries
I was looking for this comment, circumcision at birth thru me off never heard of that and many women drivers. But its like you mentioned I think its the area he went to, Harry go to Ibb Tiaz and Sanaa also Aden beautiful places and history.
@@DeimosPC The Shafi madhab (school) usually circumcise women, but it varies massively. Yemen is split between Shafi and Zaidi (who are shia) and thus the female circumcision isn't high, 5-15%.
Women do drive and girls are not circumcised at birth!! Im a woman from Yemen, and I can absolutely confirm that what you said about women’s conditions in Yemen is a ridiculous exaggeration. We do drive, and we’ve always been allowed to drive, and girls are not circumcised at birth!! Each governance is different from the other; you just went to one of the most rural but absolutely beautiful governance’s.
Are they allowed to choose their own career, clothing, passtimes, friendship circles, male friends, first loves, and most importantly a husband? Do they live a crazy exiting youth that they will remember in old age?

@@harryjaggardtravel spreading misinformation is ridiculous don’t you agree? so at least google stuff before you state them! Women drive throughout the country, though the percentage of female drivers varies by region. In urban areas, such as Sanaa and Aden, most women do drive. Yemen is not known for widespread female circumcision; while it may occur in some other developing countries, it is not common here. Although women may face oppression, this often depends on their family background. Many women, especially in larger cities, enjoy the freedom to make their own choices. Our community is deeply rooted in religious and cultural traditions, which many choose to respect willingly. In major cities like Sanaa and Aden, you'll find that many girls dress similarly to women in other Gulf countries.

In Yemen, women are treated like princesses, and are fully respected and appreciated, and enjoy their legitimate rights. Women are not a commodity or a tool to be used, but rather have a high status and value. Men serve them outside, while women take care of the household affairs inside, with the right to go out and enter freely and attend women's sessions with each other, in a way that preserves their chastity and high status. A true Yemeni woman does not talk to strangers in the street. As for those who do, they do not represent Yemeni women, but rather belong to another category known as the claimants, and they are not an example of the true Yemeni woman.

HARRY If you ask a Muslim, how is your life going... a true Muslim always says Alhamdulillah. No matter what life throws at them they have no complaints... because we feel this is not the last journey. Real life will begin in the hereafter. And I went to a Jewish wedding where men and women had separate ceremonies. It is not only Muslims who do this. Again in many moderate Muslim countries you will see men and women dancing together. To be a true Muslim is to fight with ownself. But it has rewards in hereafter.

It felt like you were attempting to force culture change as if you had moral superiority..
Agreed!!!
Are the women allowed to get jobs or attend college?
What happens to women who decide to not cover themselves up?

My country Yemen is one of the most beautiful and wonderful countries in the world that it is characterized by its oil wealth and animal wealth and agricultural wealth and fish wealth but unfortunately it was conspired by the Gulf countries and the Western countries Unfortunately the country of Yemen is a country that preserves its cultural and religious belief and we do not have any problems except internal problems planted by the Gulf and America they want Yemen to stay as it is now but I hope that Yemen returns as it was a stable and unified security

I've viewed a number of your video's and have never felt inclined to subscribe, however this video has changed that, a great insight into a country that most of the world will view in a very different light, thanks Harry for showing us the human side of Yemen
Wow, thank you!
Thanks for showing the beautiful side of Yemen, which unfortunately nobody wanted to be seen by the world 😢
Yemen is the most beautiful place, According to our Holy Prophet (PBOH), MOST BEAUTIFUL people of the world live in Yemen,
They are so kind sweet and honest 💖
More upload video from yemen please ❤ I'm so excited ❤❤❤ from Philippines 🇵🇭
That was good thing you did showing yeman it's beautiful in everyway especially the people
Harry, if you want to visit Sanaa /ibb/ the most beautiful cities in Yemen let me know. It really isn’t that hard. & I can’t wait to go back to Yemen. I should be there in February or April.
And a correction there are a lot of women drivers and no they’re not circumcised at birth😂
I can tell by the translator you were with he didn’t know how to translate correctly.
I really hope that is true. Those ladies seemed so nice and happy and it would be horrible to mutilate women like that.

Statistically the worst place in the world to be a woman is not a ridiculous exaggeration
@@wendyHew...everything you listed is all nice and dandy, that fits into some cultures...
but in yemen where things are still heavily steeped in an ancient culture + traditions some of the list do not apply as a whole to the entire country...
however depending which region, which class, or which family also gives a woman more options and more freedoms...
yemen today compared to 20years ago in general is more modern, its a slow process of modernisation but its happening like everywhere else...
baby steps, each to their own in their own time.

What a natural beauty's colour❗Love❤️ & respect from Bangladesh🇧🇩💚🌸
In Yemen, women are treated like princesses, and are fully respected and appreciated, and enjoy their legitimate rights. Women are not a commodity or a tool to be used, but rather have a high status and value.
Men serve them outside, while women take care of the household affairs inside, with the right to go out and enter freely and attend women's sessions with each other, in a way that preserves their chastity and high status.
A true Yemeni woman does not talk to strangers in the street. As for those who do, they do not represent Yemeni women, but rather belong to another category known as the claimants, and they are not an example of the true Yemeni woman.
I am loving this content, and from Yemen too. I feel this is where you excel, as you can cross languages, and speak to locals. Travelling and giving us, the viewer, the feeling of having travelled. I’d love to see more of this, and also to see you in Georgia and surrounding countries... more food, fun and daily insight into local’s lives. I am appreciative of your attempt to understand life for a women in these countries too.
