The people that gave 1 star reviews are the type of people that will never be satisfied with anything no matter how good something is....reviews are to be taken with a grain of salt these days whilst most reviews are posted by complaintive brats.
Yes I agree there all over 50 got more money then they can spend and up there own posh arses. Eny slight swearing thay cry and eny interacting with people thay don't know thay turn there nose upto and cry. This cruise and the people on it are amazing and kind that's what separates us to them.
Not really. It's just that people are far more inclined to go and leave a review when they have a bad experience rather than a good one. Like if you have such a horrible experience with something that you'd consider it 1 star you'd probably be upset enough about it to go and leave these reviews. Meanwhile, when people just enjoyed themselves or had no problems they're a lot less likely to go and leave reviews because they just don't have a strong enough reason to.
This is why I take reviews with a grain of salt. This cruise has everything the other cruise’s have and actually looks really nice! For $200 you can’t lose. NCL and RC cruises can go for over a grand. Plus, you even got a balcony!
Reviews are often done by people who are extremely experienced and thus, set in their ways. I always tell people (clients or not) that it all depends on what you want to do on the ship or on the trip in general. If you just care about the ports, the ship isn't really that important. You can take a small ship without all the bells and whistles (Viking, for example) and have a great time. If you want the ship to be the destination, that's what you can pay (and pay and pay and pay and pay some more) for. My friends who book with me that want to party as much as possible take a ship that isn't the newest (say, 10-15ish years old, Radiance or Freedom class with RCCL as an example) and buy the biggest drinks package and pay in advance for the signature restaurants and only cruise in certain areas (with ports they've partied in before, so don't need to go ashore at). The friends who want the best value tend to go for even older ships (or a few of MSC's options) or niche ships like Margaritaville or Costa and spend their money onboard (drinks package in advance though) or in port. If you want both, THAT is when you get into the upper tiers in pricing. If you want it all, you have to pay for it all.

Georgia is a beautiful country, with great culture, delicious wine and cusine. And nice people. Tbilisi also is a very young and modern cool city. Underrated indeed.
I like Simon how at the beginning complaining there is nobody, claiming it's dead, it's empty, no one is gonna be there and in the very next moment is like "Oh my god it's packed full, for sure it has at least couple of thousands of people, it's crazy" :D :D
LoL in the boat an hour, knows half the people happily! You're perfect for cruises, even the bad ones you could make amazing.. lol I LOVE your energy mate.
I'm 23 years old, I'm Italian, I did about 15 cruises with msc, royal Caribbean, celebrity cruises, and Costa, also this ship in Greenland last year. I really don't think it's a one-star ship/company and I already find the title mooing. If you are travelling in bad weather or no shining sun I can assure you that whatever the ship is, the experience is not at its best. The food was really great, the ship was recently renovated, and it has all the common comforts. The only note was perhaps the organisation of excursions, logistics and customer service.
It depends, for entertainment, shows, itineraries and services...royal Caribbean. For food, tranquillity, class, elegance... Msc...but it all depends on the ships you choose, the period if it's in season or not...however in principle the newly launched ships or the companies like those mentioned offer more or less the same experience! I now prefer to give importance to the itinerary and excursions... leaving the ship in the background..
I've cruised on that ship Costa Fascinosa in May this year i spent 2 weeks on that ship and i totally loved it! The ship is beautifull not to big and not to small! You have lots of entertainment onboard and lots of food choices! And above all of that the crew members are so friendly and always ready to help you with something you need! And my cabin was cleaned everyday and they did an amazing work cleaning and you also get everyday new towels to shower! So those people complaining are probably just white snobs! I really recommend going on a cruise with Costa Fascinosa or any other ship on Costa Cruises! I have videos on my channel in this amazing ship!
Simon, Simon, Simon. If I could tell you how many clients I've had who were just like you (but they were on Carnival which is *_significantly_* more packed). I had one client FaceTime me from the Mardi Gras, asking me where to find stuff on the ship. No, I'm not kidding. You are at least extremely extroverted so you have no problems asking people for help. Simon looks like the prototypical cruise newbie. "What's goin' on in there?!" at the photography studio.🤣LOVE IT! High fiving everyone is HILARIOUS! Never change! Oh, one thing: it's bad etiquette on cruises to talk about the Titanic or Concordia or the ship sinking in general. It's like getting into a car and saying, "This is a good day for a redline head-on" (translation: This is a good day for a head-on collision at maximum speed). Not something you want to put out into the universe. Yes, gambling in international waters means you're not governed by any one nation's gambling laws. Slots are different, except in certain areas (Middle East, for example). In those theaters, the casino wouldn't even open until the ship was in international waters. Leon is GOOD PEOPLE. You find a lot of those on the lowest rated cruises because of the price point. Working people who can't justify spending an eighth of their annual take home on a 3-5 day vacay (like Utopia of the Seas charges). Lot of my clients are like that. But this entire cruise is proof positive that sports can truly unite people. Liverpool and AC Milan (as well as Napoli) should hate each other since they often meet with the biggest stakes (Champions League usually, Europa League at worst) but they do business with each other every single day.
I actually did this exact same cruise/days/cities around 6 years ago on a company trip. Had nothing to complain about besides that I personally dont like to be stuck on a ship and have limited time to visit the cities. But the services and food were in my opinion very good

Cruise companies take advantage of cheap labour by hiring most of their crew from the Philippines and India. I'm Canadian and I felt pretty guilty making 3x as much as my Filipino coworkers for doing the same amount of work.
Now I understand why older people take cruises. They might as well hop from one cheap cruise to another instead of paying 1000’s to a retirement home or a house. Just keep cruising until you actually get old enough to need hospice.
My mother bought a bunch of consecutive timeshares all in the same Mexican beach resort. So 4 months a year she spent there, every couple of weeks moving to a new unit in the same building. Lovely weather, good food, helpful and friendly staff (didn’t hurt that she tipped well) and everything in the resort. Far nicer than an assisted living place.
Just got back from a Norwegian cruise, this seems a lot nicer. Also, as near as I can tell, the entire country of the Philippines works on cruise ships.
The Costa Cruise liners don't look very pleasing exterior wise but they are so nice, sleek inside! It reminds me of the Imperator class ocean liners back in the 1900s that looked slightly unattractive by exterior but had amazing interiors!

Death leprosy profile picture , based.
They probably had one bad cruise in Covid and got review bombed so bad they still haven't recovered.
Some people are really negative the cruise could be really good but one thing annoyed them and it’s the end of the world.
This is a cruise you take to get away for a while, thats it. No frills, nothing shiny, just "I'm on a boat and I'm ok with that".
Your videos are so positive and bright, so glad I found your channel. You always bring me a smile with your kind and friendly demeanor!
This is why I take reviews with a grain of salt. This cruise has everything the other cruise’s have and actually looks really nice! For $200 you can’t lose. NCL and RC cruises can go for over a grand. Plus, you even got a balcony!
Thats an excellent price. My wife and I recently went to Alaska on an 8 day cruise with celebrity and we paid more than $5,000.

Would love to see Simon visit Tbilisi! Not enough content from there, lived there for a bit and it’s such an awesome place with GREAT food that Simon will actually eat!
Georgia is a beautiful country, with great culture, delicious wine and cusine. And nice people. Tbilisi also is a very young and modern cool city. Underrated indeed.
nah
Georgian wine.. hugely under rated

I LOVE your energy mate.
Simon gets PTSD about the Costa Concordia every time he see a life jacket lmao.
Fair play. £200 that's brilliant. 1 night in my nearest Premier Inn is £180!
I paid similar for a night in London and the hotel was about as bottom tier as you can get.

Msc or royal carribbean, which one is better?
People are review bombing it to keep it cheap.
@@hughw2377Msc is a cheap zoo experience, except when you stay in the Yacht Club.
15 crociere a 23 anni? dimmi che sei un figlio di papà senza dirmi che sei un figlio di papà
I worked for Carnival, Royal and Celebrity as a singer. I loved the old Carnival ships because not many corporate people onboard, so we had more fun!
That’s awesome. My friend, her ex-husband used to play the saxophone on different cruise ships. He was Wayne Newtons saxophone player.
I remember u!!!
@@kyoakland prove it lol, how do you remember me? Give me details lol
Carnival do legit do some banger cruises tbf. Not always a fan of them, but that one I did
Nice. I was the sound guy on the Magic, Victory and Spirit for a couple of years. Had an amazing time.
The way you are very friendly to other people is just so wholesome! Cheers!
It’s like saying Bomb on a 🛬😂
Liverpool and AC milan had a bitter relationship, remember 2005? Then 2007?
This looks like every cruise ship I’ve been on, except for the indoor pool which is even better
jason and leon id have stayed on the drink with them two 😂 looked like good lads
Haha 🙋🏻♂️
I actually did this exact same cruise/days/cities around 6 years ago on a company trip. Had nothing to complain about besides that I personally dont like to be stuck on a ship and have limited time to visit the cities. But the services and food were in my opinion very good

Been on 27 cruises with 7 different cruise lines. While I've never sailed with Costa, that style of ship is the same as Carnival's Conquest class, and it's my favourite kind. Not too big, not too small. I don't care for the mega ships.
Congrats
I’m so relieved…
It’s the Concordia class not conquest class they’re custom built for Costa
im actually on the carnival conquest in 39 days
@@Therealprinceofcobh I know they are. But Carnival owns Costa, so many of the ships are very similar in decor and layout. The Concordia class is quite similar to Carnival ships like the Conquest, Valor, Liberty, Splendor, etc.

When he said "Do you remember the Costa Concordia?" I actually thought he was going to say "Yep this is the same ship" ahahah fml
50% right 😅 Costa Fascinosa (the ship on video) is a Concordia-class cruise ship,This class of ships gets its name "Concordia" because she was the first of a series of 6 ships :
Costa Concordia built in 2006 (sanked and destroyed)
Costa Serena 2007
Carnival Splendor 2008 (famous for the poop cruise accident)
Costa Pacifica 2009
Costa Favolosa 2011
Costa Fascinosa 2012
all share the same exterior design engines controls exc..all of them still in operation apart from the Concordia..all of them build by Fincantieri (ita)
Costa Fascinosa cost 510 million euro to build.

Cruise companies take advantage of cheap labour by hiring most of their crew from the Philippines and India. I'm Canadian and I felt pretty guilty making 3x as much as my Filipino coworkers for doing the same amount of work.
@@Before-GTA6 what the hell is that supposed to mean?
@@Before-GTA6take a Cunard cruise and you'll find many Filipino crew as well.
@@CarbonatedTurtle thats true...
Bro I have been to several Costa Cruises, honestly its really value for money! The Filipino crew are the best! Cheers!

The Costa Cruise liners don't look very pleasing exterior wise but they are so nice, sleek inside! It reminds me of the Imperator class ocean liners back in the 1900s that looked slightly unattractive by exterior but had amazing interiors!
