The Chinese don’t hate Americans, the real feud is between our governments. At the end of the day, we’re all just people trying to live our lives.
well said.
It's a scam. Chinese makes drugs in their lab bc they have the chemicals. China ships to Mexico to distribute the drugs and cook it into powder/rock form. America protects the cartels as it enters the border. Everyone gets paid
It's quite obvious bc Mexico does not have the resources or intelligence
Only feud I have with the Chinese is that anytime i get one in a League game it's always a fucking yasuo one trick that goes 2/10 because they're playing on 200 ping
I agree. To add to this though I only see one government actively using propaganda to demonize ALL OF AMERICA. Not just the government but its people too. Meanwhile our government makes it clear our issue is with the CCP not Chinese people. I don’t wake up and see anti China propaganda as an American.

Dude this video is kind of nuts.
It's so interesting to watch your transition from buying into the sort-of circus-y atmosphere in Dandong and having a fun time to meeting actual North Korean women and how it sobered you up and put into context how twisted the atmosphere on that side of the river is when compared to the reality of what's happening in NK.
You can really see the impact it's having on you by the end of the video.
Very strange juxtaposition, thanks for getting out there and making this video.
They drop more in Vietnam, then in Korea 😂
Good post. We all know NK is there and a reasonable chunk of whats going on, but it's kinda abstract... on a new item or magazine article. To go in person to see it with your own eyes and realise that it's also a tourist attraction is kinda bizarre.
Yeah dude for real.
this is also a place where you cannot fully and freely discuss the things that going on in there
, it's not like in the west when you have protests ,debates and news shows when something bad orcontroversial happens .
the west is far from perfect but at least you have the freedom to express it in the west
I don't agree with his or your sentiment. If any progressive country had a backwards neighbour like NK that close, separated by a river, then you would also see a town for tourists setup on the banks. People like to go to and see new cultures and that's all they are doing, just like this guy visiting China, the Chinese want to visit NK, but obviously they are not allowed in so this town exists. It's just tourism.

They did this right on the grass of my home until I and neighbours confronted them and called police and they were made to delete all the photos. eh, depends on the city and business, the great thing about Capitalism is the market is variable for different sects and businesses, and usually it takes more money than normal to get better quality stuff, but the quality is usually unparalelled at that point than most countries
@@sora2534 Not China, because everything in Capitalism countries are made in China, whether they are labelled so or not.
@@sora2534 The market isn't variable because of high costs. The market becomes variable and liquid when people stop overcharging. Which explains why capitalist countries who don't operate by capitalist values like free market, continuously raise prices and make it impossible for people to start businesses because the cost is so high. Which is why in one of those countries you can go from one side of the country to the other and all of the exact same businesses will be the main purveyors of goods and services at opposite ends of that country or opposite ends of that globe. And when the majority of people are employees, they're working for a 10% return on what they put in and very few of those people will become business owners, mostly due to artificially high costs and regulations

You can eat at North Korean restaurants in Beijing. I've eaten at them and the food is good. Many North Korean dishes will look similar to Japanese food, especially hand-rolled sushi. I've been to China more than 60 times. There's absolutely nothing to fear, but don't do anything stupid like bringing weed or illegal drugs into the country. China is a very safe country to visit.

1:12:30 They understand the differences you’re mentioning. As far as I know they’re allowed to be on the coast, China doesn’t harbor NK citizens as refugees so there really isn’t a big motivation to swim across as they’d be immediately sent back to horrible punishments that will extend to their families.
It actually depends on relationship between these two countrie. It has always been changing. Most refugees settle down and live in Chinese Korean ethnic minority communities near NK. People usually just turn a blind eye. Very few will be captured and sent back as a gesture.

Bro its not about propaganda. The tensions between our countries is thick. Its predominantly concern about that. I dont see anti chinese propaganda everywhere lol. I am just very aware of our history and the political dangers as well as the tensions. America does not have the same history, or political issues as your country so naturally our concerns are different. We hosted chinese exchange students growing up and the culture shock they experienced from the freedoms we are so accustomed to was very real. 很假的一个别针,他能从朝鲜弄过来真货我就把别针吃了,这就是个从义乌五毛钱买的小商品
@@omarsabir1210 you're a cringe lord
No one is saying they're communist based on their economics. When people say China is communist, they're literally talking the "COMMUNIST Party of China" where the government does adhere to core communist values such as the "state owning the means of production" which is very evident with state owned enterprises that extends into all aspects of infrastructure such as petrol, power, transportation, roads, telecommunications, media, etc... and even with corporations they have ultimate control and siphon money from them. Then you have other communist practices such as complete control over government and suppression of opposing parties as that's seen as separating from the collective as well as suppression of individualistic identity with censorship and surveillance on top of free media being banned in threat of death, all those jokes online of Journalists disappearing didn't just come from nothing. An authoritarian group being used to overthrow the government is a key point of transition in Karl Marx's writing which is exactly what the CCP did in 1949. You can argue this is not true communism because the people don't hold power, however the CCP has checked off enough boxes for them to be a communist part and rarely does implementation and labeling match the exact purpose behind an ideology.
@@omarsabir1210a yes, there's no communist party ruling in China

As a visitor, China is a nice country with friendly people who are super helpful and it is safe. However, some things can be a hassle, like paying for stuff with apps if you aren't a local. If the Chinese government simplified the tourist experience, with China's long and interesting history and variety of landscapes and cuisines, they'd attract huge numbers of tourists. From a soft power perspective, I'm surprised they haven't tried harder.
本地人几乎不用现金,这并不是区别对待。入乡随俗,如果你只用一部手机和几个App就能解决一切,生活会大不一样的。

@@JunPaul-s8p agreed. i live in brazil and even we got our own apps and stuff to pay digitally. similarly to china, brazil has been slowly but surely been transioning into using more digital currency through PIX (basically AliPay) so im sure that it can be annoying for some tourists, but its super good for locals.
@@JunPaul-s8p Your comment is very interesting. I did not know that the term "Do as the Roman's do" 入乡随俗 is known to the Chinese. Very cool to see it used. Thank you. As for phones and apps, westerners are slowly adopting phone based payment methods, but do not like the idea of not having physical cash. Additionally, we are much more reluctant to have our government issue state identification that is tied to apps. Americans saw what Canada did to its truckers during the pandemic, cutting off their bank accounts because they were protesting, and was disgusted. Online shopping is very common in America, but phones/apps being the only way to make storefront purchases are not. Debit cards and cash are king.
@@JunPaul-s8p I don't think the issue is using a phone to pay. We can all do that with the Apple/Android wallet and our bank accounts in most countries. The problem is that we can't use them in China.
We end up having to use Alipay as we can clear the verification process, even then it often takes a few attempts. This is further frustrated by Alipay not always working while in China, this may be due to us using temporary eSims/connection issues, our banks having a problem with it randomly, or the version of Alipay we use just being flaky.
It is deeply unsettling to be in another country without the ability to pay for anything, like food/drink, accommodation, or transport and not being able to use cash as a safety net.
