    We will also be featuring Land Rover & Range Rovers too, under the JLR umbrella and hope you enjoy learning more about Tom Lenthall Ltd in the process.
    Modern and classic cars & motorbikes of all brands will also be covered in time - so it really is something for petrol heads.

    Props to Harry for giving Ian and now Tom the push they needed to start their channels! This is the type of content I can't get enough of and it's nice to see so many people around the world sharing the same interests. Good luck with the channel Tom! Cheers

    Love what you did to Harry’s Jag! I’ll look forward to seeing what you do for others on here! I’m looking after my brothers S1 XJ12L that could be the earliest LWB RHD V12 to have survived (chassis number 10!). We are getting it recommissioned after a year or so’s inactivity. Hopefully we’ll see you around at some point! All the best with this channel!!

    Oooh very excited, thanks Tom, regular videos on top of an already heavy workload is a massive commitment, so in advance I’d like to thank you for all the hard work, I’m bursting to see what’s ahead, especially the lister Jag, your own coupe with the mad engine, also this new conversion in standard body will be something special, a real sweet spot I reckon. Good luck Tom I hope this channel smashes the numbers, dig deep and it will happen, regular content put out always at the same time will win views, half hour films are perfect, any longer nobody will watch.

    if you need any inspiration for how to film and edit the episodes, Tyrrel's classic workshop is pretty much the gold standard, so dont be afraid to be inspired by their style, and remember to go hard on the nitty gritty nerdy details.

    I would recommend you to invest on sound equipment. Videos with bad audio will turn the audience away. Any cheap lavalier mics, like Rode Wireless Go, or something like that are good to go. Anyway, looking forward for your up coming videos.

    Oh yes. I’m so looking forward to your new channel. I’ve recently acquired my dream car, an F type R (early low mileage RWD). I’m hoping it’s a keeper but I’ve learnt of issues with the plastic coolant pipes under the supercharger. It seems many owners are crying out for a long term solution going forward. Maybe Harry’s Project 7 could be a good test…he just doesn’t know it yet! 😂

    Hi Tom, found your shop via some google research and great to see you have started a channel. I have a Jsg F-Pace V6 supercharged and will be in touch tomorrow about some work. Although you are showcasing the older classics, i think you should focus on some of the newer Jag models, F-Type, F-Pace etc as we need some decent specialists for the newer variants. There is a huge following in these models too. Customer service is also high on the priority for a normal joe soap like myself.
    Best of luck with the channel 👍🏼

      We can source cars for customers with specific requirements, but we do not 'retail' Jaguars on a forecourt. We are busy behind the scenes revamping our website to include an on-line store, but again contact us with any specific requirements you may have in terms of parts are we may have available or can source. Tom has competed at the Le Mans Classic in a Mk2 Jaguar and even picked up some silverware! 👍

    Good luck Tom, I instantaneously found you very knowledgeable when were working on Harry's Jag.. I've been a licensed technician for over 47 year's.. Love car's and especially Jag's. My son and I are creating a one of kind XJS restomod. I wish I opened a custom shop 30 years ago here in Canada.. keep up the love of Jag's..
    My son wants more power out of his 86 jag-xjs, nothing ridiculous around 500 HP.. is that possible out of these 5.3? I'm assuming we need to bore out a little, but would like to brag about 5.3 lt strength..
    Who do you use for the stand alone ECU modules or trust?
    Thank you.

    • @tomlenthallsworkshop
      @tomlenthallsworkshop  Год назад +1

      Hi Pete - thanks for your positive feedback and best of luck to you and your son with the project. It would be easier to go up to 7 litres to achieve the 500bhp. Regarding stand alone ECU for the period of cars you referencing we use Emerald and will be using it on this XJC project.
