Kudos to the lady, just staying calm in the downpour and embracing the moment! Very professional!👍 Both beauty dishes are about the same… it’s not the reflector, it’s the photographer that makes the difference 😏
@@dancarmony5107 yeah. I feel like the silver is brighter when shooting…just a tiny bit. Maybe gives it just a little more pop, but irrelevant in my opinion to shoot one way over the other.
The slightest of difference with the silver, it does look like they were a little more vibrant. Although with post processing these days, I believe you could get the same effect. I would think that you may see more of a difference in a low light situation where the silver would be a harsher light compared to the white. Also, you said you never used LR, what do you use?
Hey Jason, I've noticed in many of your videos that you use a dolly to move your C-stand. Do you find it easier or better than the rollers that come with the C-stand? Also, which brand do you use? Thank you!
What is the sense of this? Double difuser makes it just a softbox... not a beauty dish at all. Of course then it doesnt make almost any difference all.
great vid!! Silver was soft and more contrasty but really different compared to white
Thanks for this raining BTS. Georgina is an amazing model. 🙂

Great job Jason!
Looking great Jason. Its been a few months since I've watched your videos.
i didnt even know you could leave a light in the rain that long
It’s not something I really wanted to do, but they are sealed at the top. So I figured it should be okay.
I love my white one!
Maybe a bit more "pop" with the silver. Both silver and white look great! Thanks for testing them!
It was a fun test, plus rain shoots are always fun!
@@vorpaledgephotography I did kind of feel that ‘pop’ also. I don’t think it’s super significant, but I did feel like it’s there with the silver.
Aggie Dad!! Love it!!!
I can’t really tell a difference between the silver and white. I haven’t been on NW Vista in a while. Looks like they have made some improvements.

Looks like the silver made the skin tones and surrounding colors a bit richer/deeper in color
Brutal very nice I liked!!
Also do you sell Lightroom presets??
@@noguisolano I actually have never even used LR. Sorry.

It would have been helpful if the photos were placed side by side...

@@HeYoK.4726 these didn’t come with any wheels or rollers, so I don’t have anything to reference. But I do like these.
Maybe I missed it in the video. are you using ND filter in order to get your shutter speed that low to avoid high speed sync?
@@kylegifford2116 yes. I am using an ND

What about the beauty Black dish by Brandon Core?
I wouldn’t mind trying it, but I’m not going to spend the money just to test that one. It’s close to triple the price of these.
