Congratulations , you're 100% human . You are the first to acknowledge your doubts and struggles , and staying the course ! Am struggling with some health issues . You're RUclips tutorial it's not only encouragemen me in the field of photography , but also in staying the course ! Thank you !
Imposter syndrome is a real thing, I am a photographer of 7 years and had to break away in 2022 for two years because I fell in a deep rabbit hole of self doubt and comparing myself to other top photographers, I would always listen to others and listen to what they think even if it is not valid, Self doubt would stop me from grabbing opportunities left right and centre as I would turn them down or back out as I would always think what If the pictures aren’t good enough or what if I let them down or what if they don’t like them etc. October 2024 I’ve come back into photography again with a positive light, no more comparing and just enough photography because I enjoy it, Photographers should talk more about imposter syndrome as it is a real thing in the photography industry
You are one of my favorite photographers to follow! I love your work, how you teach, your thought process! You are always great with your models and posing! I am just a Gamma that loves photography and documenting my granddaughters lives….you help me out with your great style so stop your doubts and keep rocking your photography business…..thank you for sharing so much of yourself, your photography and your models, you are making a difference!
Thank you for these important reminders!! Even as a elementary teacher who TEACHES kids to believe in themselves and their gifts, I can say some pretty mean things to myself when it comes to my own talents and journey😢 Your advice about remembering to be grateful as part of overcoming negativity is a fantastic point.
I’m learning so much from you, actually found you because you use my dream lens :) But if you’re still feeling impostor syndrome, I believe it’s not the gear that’ll fix it-at least not for me either. Instead, I guess it’s about practice and having the courage to make mistakes. Thank you for the inspiration!
I appreciate you so much! You are so down to earth and real. You are also a great photographer that I love to follow. I bought the 85 1.2 because of you. Lol. Absolutely love it!
Jason you are awesome. You inspire me to pick up my camera and better nyself. Keep up the great work. I am always eager to see your next video. Thank you for your honesty.
@@churchsnaturescenes7864 probably none really. The way I looked at it. I could get about $2500 for my R5 and put that toward my Markii, cutting the Mii price in half. That’s why.
Thats probably how I'd go about it too if I were to upgrade my R5 I. Did my first engagement shoot yesterday and just want to say you're an inspiration to me in my photography journey as well. I'm about to do my second portrait/fashion shoot this week too. I've learned lots from you so thanks.
A great video and a great shoot. I'm curious, when you start shooting with Maddie in the middle of the street there is a parked car and I hear you mention it has its blinker on, in the finished photos my eye is kind of drawn to the bright orange blob of the out of focus blinker light - were you not tempted to remove that in post?
@@churchsnaturescenes7864 I wouldn’t say quick! It’s been the entire year. The biggest thing(s). I actually started caring! I starting eating cleaner, started a calorie deficit, started watching what I put in my body, started exercising, and stopped eating out as much.

Nice photos. I enjoyed in particular the regular face and the funny face in the window mirror (12:28min).
Great video. And I always admire how you get models to pose!
I decidee to restart portraiture photography on the side after a decade hiatus. I really needed this video. Thanks.

7:56 you must have ADD my friend… I have it and I get lost in deep thoughts like that.
Firstly, don’t know how you could be any better, and secondly…..more natural light shoots please.

Just have another question. What is the benefit of upgrading to R5 II for portraits compared to R5 I?

Damn, looking good Jason! You honestly look half the size now. How did you loose all that weight so quick?

can't watch photographers who 1,2 & 3 !! dude they don't need you to count down.
@@jeffklpo she’s not a model. There is no flash to let her know when I take the photo. Feel free not to watch then. Sorry you can’t deal with it.
nobody is forcing you to watch. If you know Jason's work, you would also know he shoots a lot with dancers and counting is their language!
