Always great work! Love the shots and poses. However, I admire the fact how you can handle f/1.2. It’s not as easy as some people might think or at least it wasn’t for me. The depth of field is so small that most of my pictures came out blurry 😔🤣

Great job! Those can be a little stressful! I imagine you think about the poses and spots before the 5 minutes start and then it's about being able to communicate them to the model as succinctly as possible! Good job!

Nice work.

I ended up running into this last week. I was at a shoot when the flash was intermittently working...I was sweating for sure....didn't know what was wrong. I thought it was the flash, but it ended up being loose screws in the hot shoe on the R5. I saw videos online about fixing the issue, so I ended up going that route. It took my husband and I 1-2 hours...but we didn't have the right tools for the job, but we used what we had an made it work. Camera works great after the home fix....and the hot shoe is nice and snug now...we couldn't find the loctite that we had at home, so we just tightened the bolts. I'm hoping I don't have to do this again because I didn't glue the bolts in....but if I do have to...at least now I know what to do.

Shooting natural light, that's a hoot. Test of all test if you ask me. Hell I'm in. Good with the head cam for POV or a mono tripod with a pocket cam for an extra view.

When there is even light like that I’ll actually just use my flash as a key or hair light to create separation from the background or have a main and key light but that’s ultimate effort

I use the same setup! EOS RP and the 135 f2. It is my favorite combo. The eye tracking makes it so hard to not to get every shot in focus.

Pretty sure that was as much fun for me as it was for both y'all! I must profess I'm a wide-open natural light junkie. Lovely work over at the BBQ at last light too. Did I detect a smidge of swirl on that 85 wide open?

gorgeous shots and model! I noticed your light hanging down on the ground since you have the extension head - try a super clamp with baby pin and you can secure the flash to one of the legs of your stand toward the bottom - which will increase the center of gravity and if it falls over the light is only a few inches off the ground. mileage may vary with a tripod leg though lol

She's stunning. Magic happens more often when you dont have to pose every movement. Only thing I'd do differently is remove the chain link fence posts in the last set of pics!
